    PELATIHAN DIGITAL PARENTING DALAM MENDIDIK ANAK SECARA BIJAK DI ERA GEMPURAN KONEKTIVITAS GLOBAL

    Perkembangan teknologi digital dan meningkatnya konektivitas global menuntut orang tua memiliki kompetensi dalam melakukan pengasuhan digital (digital parenting). Program pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman orang tua mengenai praktik pengasuhan digital yang bijak serta keterampilan teknis dalam mendampingi anak saat menggunakan internet. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif-edukatif melalui penyuluhan, diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD), dan evaluasi menggunakan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 80%, ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan skor rata-rata dari kategori cukup menjadi baik pada aspek literasi digital dasar, kemampuan mengarahkan aktivitas daring edukatif, serta praktik pendampingan. Sebanyak 20% peserta masih menghadapi kendala teknis, terutama dalam mengoperasikan fitur parental control dan manajemen waktu pendampingan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pelatihan digital parenting efektif meningkatkan kesiapan orang tua dalam menghadapi risiko penggunaan teknologi pada anak, namun masih diperlukan intervensi lanjutan yang bersifat praktis dan berkelanjutan

    Halal literacy among elementary school students remains low, particularly in their ability to recognize and understand the meaning of halal logos on food and beverage packaging. This condition may influence children’s consumption patterns from an early age, given the high exposure to snacks and processed food products in the school environment. Therefore, systematic, contextual, and participatory halal education is needed. This community service program aimed to improve elementary school students’ understanding and awareness of the importance of choosing halal-labeled food through a Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach. The program was implemented at SDN Wonorejo 1, Kencong District, Jember Regency, and consisted of initial observation, pre-test, interactive socialization on halal logos and fatwas issued by the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI), label-reading practice, and evaluation through post-test and discussion. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ knowledge and attitudes toward the importance of halal food consumption, as evidenced by paired sample t-test analysis. Interactive halal education delivered at an early age was proven effective in shaping students’ awareness and positive habits in food selection. This program has strong potential to be replicated in other schools as part of efforts to strengthen halal literacy and character education

    Transformasi Pesantren di Era Globalisasi Digital: Inovasi Pendidikan Islam dan Adaptasi Kelembagaan

    Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam tertua di Indonesia memiliki daya tahan historis dan peran strategis dalam pembentukan karakter, moralitas, serta tradisi keilmuan umat Islam. Dalam konteks globalisasi digital, pesantren dihadapkan pada tantangan yang semakin kompleks, seperti disrupsi teknologi, perubahan paradigma pembelajaran, serta tuntutan kompetensi global yang semakin kompetitif. Kondisi tersebut menuntut pesantren untuk melakukan transformasi agar tetap relevan tanpa kehilangan identitas keislaman dan nilai-nilai kepesantrenan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif transformasi pesantren di Indonesia dalam menghadapi era globalisasi digital, dengan menitikberatkan pada inovasi pendidikan Islam dan adaptasi kelembagaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif-analitis berbasis studi literatur dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola transformasi pesantren secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi pesantren berlangsung secara gradual, kontekstual, dan berbasis nilai. Inovasi pendidikan Islam tercermin dalam integrasi kurikulum agama dan ilmu umum, pembaruan metode pembelajaran, serta pemanfaatan teknologi digital secara selektif dan beretika. Pada aspek kelembagaan, pesantren melakukan adaptasi melalui modernisasi tata kelola, profesionalisasi manajemen, fleksibilitas struktur organisasi, serta penguatan jejaring dan kemitraan strategis, tanpa menghilangkan peran sentral kiai sebagai penjaga nilai dan otoritas moral. Seluruh proses transformasi tersebut dijiwai oleh dimensi humanis pesantren yang meneguhkan nilai keislaman, akhlak, dan moderasi beragama.     Konsep Peran Ibu dalam Pendidikan Anak Perspektif Tafsir Kontemporer: Analisis atas Surah Maryam

    This study aims to explore the role of mothers in child education based on contemporary interpretations of Surah Maryam. Surah Maryam not only presents narratives of faith and monotheism but also showcases the exemplary figure of a mother, Maryam bint Imran, in nurturing noble values in her child, Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him). This qualitative research employs a library research method and a thematic exegesis approach to analyze Surah Maryam through contemporary tafsir works such as Tafsir al-Misbah (M. Quraish Shihab), Tafsir al-Munir (Wahbah az-Zuhaili), and Fi Zhilal al-Qur'an (Sayyid Qutb). The findings reveal that Maryam represents a mother with profound spiritual strength, emotional resilience, and moral commitment in educating her child. In the context of modern education, these values are highly relevant as a foundation for reinforcing the maternal role in character development. The study concludes that contemporary interpretations of Surah Maryam emphasize the critical role of mothers as the first and foremost educators in the family, particularly in instilling faith, patience, and responsibility.     Harmony in Diversity: Islamic Perspectives on Student Perceptions and Engagement in Interfaith Dialogue on Campus

    This study aims to examine the perception and level of student involvement in interfaith dialogue activities in higher education as part of efforts to strengthen harmony in diversity. Universities play an important role as a strategic forum in fostering multicultural awareness and religious moderation values, especially in the midst of the complexity of society 5.0. This study uses a mixed-method approach with a quantitative descriptive design combined with qualitative analysis to produce an in-depth understanding. Data was obtained through a survey of 110 students, representing 17.2% of the total 639 students, using a proportional random sampling technique. The results showed that most students had a positive view of religious diversity (87.3%) and considered it important to maintain harmony between religious communities (79.1%). However, their level of involvement in interfaith dialogue is still low (36.4%), indicating a gap between value awareness and social practice. Although 88.2% of students did not experience discrimination based on religion, almost half (47.3%) had witnessed it happen to others, indicating that there is still potential for intolerance on campus. These findings emphasize the relevance of religious moderation theory and the idea of inclusive education  which highlight the importance of the role of educational institutions in building a space for reflective, collaborative, and participatory interfaith dialogue. Thus, strengthening interreligious harmony on campus requires not only intellectual awareness, but also concrete strategies through social activities, religious digital literacy, and multicultural education based on empathy and openness

    PELATIHAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ICT PADA MATA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

    Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru Sekolah Dasar dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (ICT) dalam mata pelajaran Matematika. Pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan guru sebagai subjek aktif dalam seluruh tahapan kegiatan mulai dari identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, refleksi, hingga evaluasi. Kegiatan dilakukan diikuti oleh 25 guru Matematika dari kelas III hingga VI. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan guru menggunakan perangkat dan aplikasi ICT seperti GeoGebra, Google Classroom, dan PowerPoint interaktif. Selain itu, guru juga lebih percaya diri dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis digital. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan PAR mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan guru dan keberlanjutan praktik pembelajaran yang inovatif

    How EFL students present tradition in English: A discourse study

    In multilingual and multicultural educational contexts, English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning increasingly serves not only linguistic objectives but also sociocultural and identity-related purposes. This study investigates how Indonesian EFL students from rural and sub-urban backgrounds present local traditions in English through public speaking tasks disseminated on digital platforms. Drawing on Fairclough’s (1995) Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) framework, the study analyzes seven student-produced YouTube videos and accompanying reflective commentaries created by fifteen undergraduate EFL students. The analysis focuses on three interrelated dimensions: textual features, discursive practices, and social practices. The findings reveal that students strongly articulated religious and communal identities, employed linguistic hybridity and semiotic resources to negotiate cultural meanings, and demonstrated high affective and motivational engagement despite linguistic constraints. English functioned not as a neutral or westernizing medium but as a flexible resource for articulating indigenous knowledge and local values. The study argues that culturally embedded, public-facing speaking tasks position learners as intercultural mediators and support a shift away from native-speaker norms toward more inclusive, intercultural models of English language education. Pedagogical implications highlight the importance of validating local knowledge, encouraging translanguaging practices, and leveraging digital platforms to amplify student voice in EFL classrooms

    This research aims to develop a research guidebook product related to students' self-motivation in elementary schools, with the aim of finding out the extent of the role of the gerebeg suro event in increasing students' self-motivation at the Sukoreno 01 state elementary school in increasing awareness of religious moderation in the community, especially in Sukoreno Nang village, which incidentally is a Pancasila village, a village with various religions and cultures in Jember district. upaten Jember.          With a background of various religions including Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and beliefs in Sukoreno village, giving rise to various cultures and patterns of society in the village, based on the above, awareness is needed in religious moderation. With good self-motivation, a style of social life that is aware of moderation in religion and society will be realized.         Data analysis using the development model used in developing this self-motivation guide is a modification of the Borg and Gall (1983) model. According to Borg and Gall (1983), research and development (R&D) procedures consist of two main objectives, namely: (1) developing products, and (2) testing the effectiveness of products in achieving goals. The first objective is referred to as the development function, while the second objective is referred to as the validation function. The development process usually stops at the stage of producing a product through limited trials, but such a product cannot be widely used, so the product needs to be validated.     Ibn Khaldun’s Educational Paradigm: A Philosophical-Hermeneutical Perspective

    This study focuses on Ibn Khaldun’s perspective on the paradigm shift in education, particularly the transformation from classical traditions to modernity. The main objective of this research is to explore the relevance of Ibn Khaldun’s educational thought, as presented in al-Muqaddimah, to the development of contemporary education which demands an integration of traditional values with modern needs. The research employs a library-based method by examining the primary text al-Muqaddimah (Dar al-Fikr, 2001) and its English translation by Rosenthal (2015), complemented with secondary sources from international scholarly articles. Data were analyzed through a qualitative-hermeneutical approach, emphasizing textual interpretation and its correlation with the theory of paradigm shift. The findings reveal that Ibn Khaldun positions education as the core of civilization, criticizes excessive rote learning, emphasizes gradual and systematic learning, and views social transformation as a catalyst for educational change. The implication of this research is the urgency of reinterpreting classical intellectual heritage in order to formulate a curriculum that is more humanistic, integrative, and adaptive to global challenges. Furthermore, the study highlights the potential for integrating tradition and modernity in shaping sustainable Islamic educational policies

    Collaborative Learning Strategy in Alfiyah Memorization and Arabic Language Learning at Madrasah Aliyah Mambaus Sholihin Gresik

    This study aims to analyse the application of collaborative learning strategies in strengthening the memorization of Alfiyah and its implications for Arabic language learning at Madrasah Aliyah Mambaus Sholihin Gresik. The method used is qualitative case study with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation involving teachers and students as informants. The results show that collaborative learning is effective in increasing motivation, active participation, and mastery of memorizing Alfiyah, which has a positive impact on Arabic communication skills. Obstacles such as differences in ability and time limitations can be overcome by the teacher's role as a facilitator who provides group management and continuous motivation. The implications of this study encourage the systematic integration of collaborative strategies in madrasah Arabic curriculum as well as developing the use of technology in advanced learning
