Quality in Diamond Open Access Publishing: Guidelines, Policies, and Templates
No full text<p>This guidelines document is designed to support Diamond Open Access (OA) journal publishers in enhancing the quality and credibility of their journals and encouraging alignment with established best practices in scholarly publishing. It builds upon established frameworks, including the DOAJ’s Basic Criteria, the Best Practices Checklist for Diamond OA Publishers, and the Diamond Open Access Standard (DOAS) developed by the Developing Institutional Open Access Publishing Models To Advance Scholarly Communication (DIAMAS) project. It takes into account the specific challenges faced by Diamond OA journals in Africa and aims to provide practical, adaptable solutions.</p>

No full text<p>This is the presentation I made during my first contact with my research Community (Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization- Veterinary Science Research Institute) in my new role as a Local Network Lead of the African Reproducibility Network. I aimed to give a general introduction to Open Science to , its advantages and challenges. This was to form a basis for further engagements with the research team and in future I intend to expound more on different aspects of Open Science.</p>

DISPERSION OF GASEOUS POLLUTANTS FROM INDOOR COOKING: A LITERATURE SURVEY.
No full text<p><span>This study reviews scientific studies that present a wide spectrum of pollutants generated from cooking in both residential and commercial indoor environments. An analysis of the literature highlights the trends and gaps in cooking emissions in different countries/regions to enhance the understanding of its progress and limitations. The review has the potential to benefit individuals, policy makers, and institutions regarding the hazard of cooking-generated emissions.</span></p>
