Con las experiencias que relata, se logra comprender el desempeño actoral, así como los ensayos internos que involucraba a todo el elenco. De igual manera, a través de las anécdotas, se llega a saber cómo fue la recepción del público en el periodo en el que se transmitió esta serie en el país.This interview with the Peruvian actor Daniel Neuman seeks for the reader to know what were the resources that were used for the development of the television series Thousand Jobs. With the experiences that he recounts, it is possible to understand the acting performance, as well as the internal rehearsals that involved the entire cast. In the same way, through the anecdotes, you get to know how the public reception was in the period in which this series was broadcast in the country

Full text linkLa presente investigación realiza un análisis formal y de contenido sobre la revista ¡HOLA! al cumplir 80 años. Ofrecer un estudio sobre la prensa femenina en España y las circunstancias del nacimiento del semanario. Narra la evolución de la revista hasta convertirse en un fenómeno editorial único a nivel mundial. El caso ¡HOLA! es relevante por haber sabido adaptarse a las diferentes circunstancias históricas y de modelo de negocio. Además, ha definido un tipo de periodismo típicamente español, las revistas del corazón, poco estudiado pese a su relevancia y éxito de audiencia. Se recurre al análisis mediante observación participante, entrevistas en profundidad, recursos inéditos y cuestionarios. Además, se analiza el contenido de las 4.160 portadas de la revista ¡HOLA! en 80 años. Se trata de determinar la relevancia de ¡HOLA! como medio de comunicación social en España y su capacidad de adaptación en su ya dilatada trayectoria.This research conducts a formal and content analysis of ¡HOLA! magazine on the occasion of its 80th anniversary. It aims to offer a study on women’s press in Spain and the circumstances surrounding the birth of the weekly publication. It describes the magazine’s evolution into a unique global publishing phenomenon. The ¡HOLA! case is relevant due to its ability to adapt to changing historical contexts and business models. Moreover, it has defined a distinctly Spanish form of journalism—celebrity and society magazines—which, despite its popularity and audience success, has been little studied. The study uses methods such as participant observation, in-depth interviews, unpublished materials, and questionnaires. Additionally, it analyzes the content of ¡HOLA!’s 4,160 covers over 80 years. The goal is to determine the relevance of ¡HOLA! as a mass media outlet in Spain and its adaptability throughout its long trajectory

La jerarquización de los refugiados afganos y ucranianos en el discurso de la prensa española
Full text linkStarting from the premise that some refugees are more welcome than others, this study analyses the reflective and intellectual discourse on the categorisation of refugees projected by the Spanish press in the last two crises that have directly involved Europe: Afghanistan (2021) and Ukraine (2022). Special attention is paid to Semetko & Valkenburg’s framing perspective, and texts from ABC, El Mundo, El País and La Vanguardia are reviewed through quantitative content analysis and critical discourse analysis. The results show differences in the coverage of the two crises: while the Afghan crisis is Europeanised in its interpretation and deals with quotas for reception, the memory of the 2015 crisis or the blocks of countries (the supportive and the distrustful), the Ukrainian crisis is humanised (through perspectives and narratives), domesticated (directly affects the host societies), and allows recognition of the thesis of double standards or refugee hierarchies.Partiendo de que unos refugiados son mejor bienvenidos que otros, esta investigación analiza el discurso reflexivo e intelectual sobre la categorización de refugiados proyectado por la prensa española en las dos últimas crisis que implicaron directamente a Europa: Afganistán (2021) y Ucrania (2022). Con especial atención a la perspectiva del framing de Semetko y Valkenburg, se revisan artículos de ABC, El Mundo, El País y La Vanguardia por medio de un análisis de contenido de corte cuantitativo y un análisis crítico del discurso. Los resultados manifiestan diferencias en la cobertura de ambas crisis: si la afgana se europeíza en su interpretación y trata de cuotas de acogida, el recuerdo a la crisis de 2015 o los bloques de países (los solidarios y los desconfiados), la ucraniana se humaniza (por enfoques e historias), domestica (toca directamente a las sociedades de acogida) y permite reconocer la tesis de los dobles estándares o las jerarquías de refugiados
Perception of artificial intelligence applied to journalism in Spanish podcast
Full text linkLa inteligencia artificial aplicada al periodismo ha impulsado un discurso metaperiodístico que muestra el debate entre los profesionales de la información en torno a los beneficios y amenazas de esta tecnología. Este artículo analiza la percepción de la inteligencia artificial periodística a través de los pódcast en España y el argumentario a favor o en contra de la inteligencia artificial. Pese a la reconocida utilidad de esta herramienta para el desarrollo de diversas tareas periodísticas, persiste el recelo ante su uso para promover la desinformación. Este debate, no obstante, resulta adecuado en un contexto de adaptación de los medios españoles, ya que permite evaluar el impacto, compartir opiniones y experiencias, pero también prevenir los riesgos que todo cambio tecnológico conlleva.Artificial intelligence applied to journalism has promoted a metajournalistic discourse that shows the debate among information professionals around the benefits and threats of this technology. This article analyses the perception of journalistic artificial intelligence through podcast in Spain and the arguments for or against artificial intelligence. Despite the recognised usefulness of this tool for the development of various journalistic tasks, there is still suspicion of its use to promote disinformation. However, this debate is appropiate in a context of adaptation of the Spanish media, since it allows to assess the impact, to share opinions and experiences, but also to prevent the risks that any technological change entails
The character of the engineer in the Star Trek television series
Full text linkEste artículo explora el personaje del ingeniero en Star Trek, centrándose en cuatro series: The Original Series (1966-69), The Next Generation (1987-94), Voyager (1995-2001) y Enterprise (2001-05). La investigación se organiza en dos fases principales: (1) un análisis de los episodios de las series mencionadas utilizando una red narrativa (Ryan, 2016 y 2019: 35-36); y (2) la interpretación de los datos a través de la teoría del personaje inspirada en la teoría literaria de los mundos posibles (Margolin 1990 y 2007; Ryan, 1985; 1991; 2006; Ryan y Bell, 2019). Los resultados destacan el grado de protagonismo de los personajes ingenieros Scotty, Geordi, B’Elanna y Trip en cada episodio (ausente, terciario, secundario o principal), los marcos espaciales más relevantes (el espacio, la nave y la ingeniería), las acciones significativas del ingeniero dentro de los diferentes contextos narrativos, así como sus distintas versiones o interpretaciones (los dominios de los personajes).This article explores the character of the engineer in Star Trek, focusing on four series: The Original Series (1966-69), The Next Generation (1987-94), Voyager (1995-2001), and Enterprise (2001-05). The research is organized into two main phases: (1) an analysis of the episodes from these series using a narrative network (Ryan, 2016 and 2019: 35-36); and (2) the interpretation of the data through character theory, inspired by the literary theory of Possible Worlds (Margolin 1990 y 2007; Ryan, 1985; 1991; 2006; Ryan y Bell, 2019). The results highlight the degree of prominence of the engineer characters Scotty, Geordi, B’Elanna and Trip in each episode (absent, tertiary, secondary or main), the most relevant spatial frames (space, ship and engineering), the significant actions of the engineer within the different narrative contexts, as well as their different versions or interpretations (the characters’ domains)
