THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SMART GROWTH AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FROM THE EU PERSPECTIVE
The studies that focus on smart growth obviously show that countries interpret this concept in accordance with their own structures. The aim of smart growth in the US is more about planning the cities, in other words, smart cities. However, the concept is used equivalently to developing an economy based on knowledge and innovation in the EU, as it is mentioned in the Europe 2020 Report. For both of the different concepts of smart growth, the important part is that it has to include green policies to support sustainable development. Based on this fact, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions is a crucial indicator to analyze the countries’ sustainable development policies. This study aims to examine the relationship between smart growth and sustainable development in the EU. By following the EU’s smart growth concept; this research mainly analyzes GHG emissions, as it is one of the main indicators of sustainable development. The study first specifies the sectors and countries with the highest share of GHG emissions in the EU, so that the sectors that need priority can be determined for policymakers. The results figure out that the energy sector has the most significant contributions to these emissions. In addition to this, the emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants from final use of CPA08 products are classified and their trends are examined. Direct emissions by private households has the largest share with a percentage of 19,04% in 2017. This ranking is followed by electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning with 8,57% and constructions and construction works with 7,22%. Considering all theseinformation and the data, it is concluded that the EU should implement urgent and primary policies to reduce GHG emissions in the energy sector in order to achieve its smart growth, and hence sustainable development
THE ROLE OF EU IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CONCEPT FOR SMART CITIES DEVELOPMENT
In the last two decades, the so-called concept of a smart city is one of the central axes surrounding the theoretical and empirical development of urban centers. As a result, in recent years parallel to the expansion of this concept in urban centers, there is a great consensus on the national and international level for the full further development of this concept. The goal of this paper is to analyze the international support for the development of the so-called. concept of a smart city or EU organized support for the development of this concept. In doing so, the emphasis will be on organized support through the network of EU funds to support the development of a smart city in various areas of human life. The research will use the content analysis method and the historical method. The results of the research provide a detailed picture of the EU support system for the concept of a smart city. The conclusions from the research point to certain statements regarding the further development of the EU support for the concept of a smart city

SHAPING THE FUTURE OF FINTECH: FROM A PERSPECTIVE OF CENTRAL BANKS
The aim of the paper is to examine the impact of fintechon central banks and policy objectives, butalso, the role of central banks in enabling fintech in fulfilling its promises. Namely, for the financial sector fintech promises shorter, speedier transactions; greater capital efficiency; and stronger operational elasticity. For consumers, fintech promises opportunities, both in form of new products and services but also in improving the existing one at lower costs. In general, fintech promises a more inclusive financial system, with people better connected, more informed and increasingly empowered. In order to support the development of fintech central banks should consider many aspects like: exploring the use of distributed ledger technology (DLT), partnering with fintech companies and calibrating its regulatory approach to fintech developments
REGIONAL ANALYSIS OF CAR INSURANCE IN MONTENEGRO USING DEEP LEARNING METHODS
This paper analyzes the regional distribution of the number of policies, total premiums and claims of 19486 legal entities as car insurance customers of one of the largest non-life insurance companies in Montenegro. Insureds are clustered using the k-means methods in four clusters: Poor-low risk, Middle-low risk, Wealthy-middle risk and Luxury-high risk. The clusters are described using the Decision Tree (DT) models. Then, an analysis of the distribution of these clusters by regions is made. The results show that in the southern region, compared to the other two, there are fewer insureds who have a small number of policies, low premiums and low claims (Poor-low risk cluster), while more are from the Middle-low risk cluster. Also, the cluster of insureds with high premiums and high claims is most prevalent in the northern region. It is shown that deep learning methods can be used efficiently for this kind of analyses
CONTEMPORARY METHODS AND APPROACHES FOR TOURIST VALORIZATION
Creating attractive tourism products for a particular clientele is a complex task for management structures in tourist destinations. In this regard, it is necessary adequately to valorize the different touristresources in order for them tobe allocated and to be put into action. There are numerous methods for valorization in tourism that are mostly systematized according to the field to which they belong (economic, social and cultural). This research derives from the results of the author\u27s doctoral thesis on this topic. It is important to note that the empirical field research involved the use of contemporary methodological approaches. In particular, used were methodological approaches that have international validity and applicability: European Tourism Indicator System for Sustainable Destinations Toolkit (ETIS-Toolkit) and valorization of the three tourism destination subsystems: Factors, Attractors and Support Services (FAS-approach). Thesetwo methodological approaches for valorization are applied on the territory of the Ohrid tourist area

POSITIVE PARENTING AS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR FOR RAISING HAPPY CHILDREN
How can we successfully educate our children? This question is asked by every parent who knows how difficult it could be the everyday life with a naughty child. What can be done? Positive parenting comes to the rescue. It emphasizes mutual respect and uses positive instructions. The positive parenting focus on learning rather than punishment. Different studies show that using this method of discipline has better results in term of child behavior, emotional development, academic success and mental health. Often, when one hears the word “discipline”, many associate it with negative associations, mainly related to punishment, which is thought to go “hand in hand” with discipline. However, the real meaning of the word “discipline”, which comes from the Latin word “disciplina”, is “learning”. Hence, discipline is basically a process of learning and adopting values, rules, norms and principles of acceptable behavior in a society
ECOLOGICAL AWARENESS OF THE MANAGERS IN TOURISM ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES ABOUT THE ANTHROPOGENIC CAUSE OF THE CLIMATE CHANGE AND THE CAUSAL INFLUENCE OF TOURISM ON CLIMATE CHANGE
Taking into account all other environmental problems, climate change has become the biggest challenge and threat to the survival of human civilization, withmanyconsequencesand a expansiveand wide influence on virtuallyeveryaspectof human life, andundoubtedly on tourism as anactivity. The main objective of the research was to examine and analyze the ecological awareness of the managers in tourism accommodation facilities about the anthropogenic cause of the climate change and the negative causal influence of tourism on global warming and climate change. The data were collected during 2019 by a survey method conducted between managers in categorized accommodation facilities in Croatia. Kolmogorov-Smirnov\u27s test analyzed the distribution of continuous numerical values and according to the obtained data corresponding non-parametric tests were applied. Categorical and nominal values were shown using corresponding frequencies and shares. Continuous values were shown using medians and interquartile ranges. The results have shown that managers had a developed the certain lever of the ecological awareness of the importance of global climate change issue, but did not sufficiently recognize the causal link between tourism, atmospheric pollution and global warming with the effects of climate change
FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY - OPPORTUNITIES AND RISKS OF SELECTED KEY SOLUTIONS
The dynamics of the changes in financial technology (fintech) in the previous decade have surpassed the most optimistic predictions. While investments in technological innovation in financial institutions are not new, the pace of innovation significantly increased in recent years. The pace of digitalization that we are witnessing and the potential of fintech on reducing costs and speed of payments, lowering interest rates for loans through peer-to-peer(P2P) platforms and maximizing interest paid to depositors through business-to-consumers (B2C) channels are the main drivers of technological innovations in the field of financial products and services. Butcooperation and networking between incumbent and new fintech companies are the basic prerequisites for future success
