A Determination Of Motor Vehicle Taxes and Potential Optimization Strategies For Increasing Fiscal Capacity In Jambi Province
Get PDFThis study is entitled Determinants of Motor Vehicle Tax and Potential Optimization Strategies for Increasing Fiscal Capacity in Jambi Province. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors that influence motor vehicle tax revenue in Jambi Province, and to determine the strategy for optimizing motor vehicle tax potential in Jambi Province. The analysis method uses secondary data with quantitative descriptive analysis, the analysis tool uses multiple linear regression and uses SWOT analysis consisting of the strengths (Strength) and opportunities (Opportunities) owned by the company, while at the same time trying to minimize weaknesses (Weakness) and overcome threats (Threats) that may be faced. Then the analysis is carried out by giving a score or ranking and compiling a table of External Factor Evaluation Matrix (EFE) and Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix (EFI). The results of the study showed that GRDP and average length of schooling have a significant positive effect on Motor Vehicle Tax revenue. The Amnesty Policy has a positive but insignificant effect on Motor Vehicle Tax revenue and the Covid-19 Pandemic has a negative but insignificant effect on Motor Vehicle Tax revenue. The results of the SWOT analysis can be concluded that the right strategy to increase Motor Vehicle Tax is the SO strategy, namely the Strength and Opportunities strategy

It highlights the importance of addressing these differences for workplace inclusivity and performance. The problem lies in the unequal of artificial intelligence adoption between male and female employees’ perspectives. The proposed framework is developed through a review of existing literature highlights differences between male and female employees in their artificial intelligence adoption. The methodology is based on conceptual analysis, derive on previous studies to build a comprehensive understanding of gender disparities in artificial intelligence adoption. An Independent T-Test will be used to analyze the disparities between male and female Malaysian sports graduates in testing the hypothesis development. By addressing these disparities, the paper provides insights into creating inclusive strategies that promote gender equity in the workforce. The Impact of Reading Comprehension Challenges On Vocabulary Acquisition In Tesl Students
Get PDFThis study examines the impact of reading comprehension challenges on vocabulary acquisition among TESL students at a selected tertiary institution. Reading is a fundamental skill that influences other language abilities, such as writing, speaking, and listening. However, TESL students at this institution encounter significant difficulties in reading comprehension, which hinder their ability to acquire new vocabulary effectively. The research aims to identify the most problematic reading skills for these students and analyze how these challenges affect their vocabulary development. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with data collected via a questionnaire distributed to TESL students using Google Forms. The responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics in Microsoft Excel 2019 to uncover patterns and trends. Preliminary findings suggest that students struggle with key skills such as decoding, inferencing, and the application of metacognitive strategies during reading tasks. These challenges are expected to have a detrimental effect on their vocabulary growth. The study’s findings aim to contribute to TESL education by informing curriculum design and teacher training programs. By addressing these reading comprehension difficulties, educators can support improved language proficiency and academic outcomes for TESL students

The analysis method uses quantitative descriptive analysis with secondary data, the analysis tool uses panel data regression using cross-section data, The research objects are the Provinces in Indonesia, and time series data, namely 2915-2022 with a total number of observations of 272 objects, then using tests related to panel data regression, the selection of chow test models, Hausman test, and multiple Lagrange tests, as well as using statistical F hypothesis tests and statistical t and coefficients of determination. The results show that the poverty rate has a positive and significant effect on income distribution inequality in Indonesia, economic growth has a negative and significant effect on income distribution inequality in Indonesia, information and communication technology has a negative and significant effect on income distribution inequality in Indonesia, and investment has a positive and significant effect on income inequality in Indonesia. Despite various governmental initiatives to promote women's economic empowerment, significant gaps persist, with rural women facing unique challenges compared to their male counterparts. Key barriers identified include structural differences, lack of experience, and familial responsibilities that hinder participation in entrepreneurial training programs. The research objectives focus on identifying the challenges faced by rural women entrepreneurs, determining essential technical and psychological training themes, and developing a tailored empowerment model. A qualitative research design utilizing Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) will explore the experiences of rural women who have participated in government-sponsored entrepreneurial training. Data collection will involve semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with both successful and non-successful entrepreneurs. The findings will inform the development of an empowerment model that integrates technical skills and psychological readiness, ultimately enhancing the effectiveness of entrepreneurial training programs for rural women. This research is significant as it seeks to bridge the gap between policy initiatives and actual outcomes, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of rural women in Malaysia.
