Note-Taking recommendations that support academic learning in a User-Led Research by a Student with Developmental Disorder
Full text linkThis study was examined the significance of learning support and the development of this approach to supporting students with developmental disabilities at universities from a user -led research. A graduate study was cited in which a student with developmental disability described in detail her own learning difficulties and coping strategies from her previous elementary and middle, high school experience. Based on her experiences, the student has found five new ways to take notes in different situations to help her deal with college classes and assignments. These results indicate that the user-red research by the student with disabilities can be used to support learning in the primary and secondary education, facilitates their own self-understanding and expression of their intentions.departmental bulletin pape

Full text linkThis paper compares of the town leaders and of the residences of KYOWA 3 in the tradesmen's premises. In what we sorted for each town, we were able to show the distribution of the clear town tuple. We showed the premises of the foreman of a gang who could identify it in the figure. Of the Machikumi, only the Jyonohashi-Machikumi was inside KURUWA. Of the 11 Machikumi, 128 towns were the most. There were few towns that belonged to the Machikumi in the center of the Castle. Most of the four Machikumi on the periphery of Fukui Castle ware local towns. The town leaders have not been hereditary by one family for generations.departmental bulletin pape

Full text linkThe role of shopping streets located in front of railroad stations in modern provincial cities is gradually weakening. The causes can be surmised to be internal factors such as problems related to union organization and individual problems. Shin-Sakae Shopping Street, which is the subject of the present study, is one of these shopping streets. In the present paper, we first aimed to elucidate the changes while confirming the process of formation of Shin-Sakae Shopping Street. Secondly, the details of the initiatives implemented by the urban renewal companies and private organizations since 2000 were clarified. Technical factors for soccer instep kicking with an appropriate foot posture
Full text linkThe present study aimed to clarify the technical factors for soccer instep kicking with an appropriate foot posture. Using the video of the instep kick motion taken from the rear, we compared those who had an appropriate foot posture (Good group) with those who did not (NotGood group). The results show that in the Good group, the toe of the support leg and the knee of the swing leg were directed forward during the kicking motion. The foot of the swing leg was also plantarflexed until the follow-through. It became clear that these techniques are important for soccer instep kicking along with an appropriate foot posture.departmental bulletin pape
Team performance analysis of the Hokuriku universities baseball league.
Full text linkThis study aimed to investigate the effects of 3 elements of team strength in baseball (batting strength, pitching strength, and defensive strength) on the team performance of the Hokuriku universities baseball league. The data used for analysis were the records of 6 teams in the Hokuriku universities baseball league in 2019. Pitching strength, batting strength, and defensive strength were calculated using Fielding Independent Pitching(FIP), On-base Plus Slugging (OPS), and Defensive Efficiency Rating (DER), respectively. The main results were as follows: (1) There was significant difference of the batting strength among the teams. (2) There was no significant difference of the pitching strength and defensive strength among the teams. (3) There was no significant change of the 3 elements of team strength of the Fukui University of Technology in the past 5 years. These results suggest that batting strength is related to team performance of the Hokuriku universities baseball league.departmental bulletin pape
The Effects of Aroma Oil on the Autonomic Nervous System
Full text linkThe purpose of this study is to clarify the effects of aroma oil on the autonomic nervous system. Five male students at Fukui University of Technology volunteered to be subjects in this study. All of the experiments in this study were done in September, 2020. The variables determined in all of the experiments in this study were the following: mean heart rate, maximum heart rate, minimum heart rate, index reflecting the sympathetic nerve (LF), index reflecting the parasympathetic nerve (HF), balance of the sympathetic nerve and the parasympathetic nerve (LF/HF) and work of the whole autonomic nerve function (TP). The fatigue stress measuring system (the Fatigue Science Laboratory, VM302) was used to determine the reaction of the autonomic nervous system.For prevention of COVID-19 spread. In the experiment, all the subjects wore a mask, and the subject wore a face shield. Furthermore, closed spaces, crowds, and close contact were avoided and tests were conducted with open doors and good ventilation. All of the statistical analyses were done by using non-parametric tests.As for the results of this study, it seems that the sympathetic nerve is stimulated by aroma oil although he effect was not constant all the time.departmental bulletin pape

Cheat Verbs and Locative Alternation - A Corpus-based Approach -
Full text linkThis paper aims to reveal the actual usage of cheat verbs in the `NP〓 V NP〓 of NP〓' construction and the `NP〓 V NP〓 from NP〓' construction through COCA and BNC. Levin (1993:52) lists 48 verbs such as absolve, acquit, and balk as cheat verbs, that is to say, these are said to be non-alternating verbs and occur in the `NP〓 V NP〓 of NP〓' construction, and not in the `NP〓 V NP〓 from NP〓' construction. The results of our investigations of the 48 verbs show that 21 verbs such as absolve, acquit, and break are non-alternating (of only), 2 verbs, con and cull, are non-alternating (from only), 15 verbs such as bilk, bleed, and cleanse can be alternating, and the rest of the 10 verbs have no or little examples of the constructions in COCA and BNC.departmental bulletin pape
