Experimental Studies on the Relation between the Plasma Control Parameter and Plasma Parameter of Inductively Coupled R.F. Discharge in the Low Pressure (Part 2)
When applying plasma, many different plasma conditions such as the case where a low electron temperature is required, the case which is uniform in the wide area of the plasma electron density are required. To create plasma, the plasma control parameter of sample gas pressure p, ionization voltage Vs and the ionization electric power Pa is important. Also, to investigate basic plasma parameter of the electron temperature Te of the created plasma and electron densities Ne is required. In this paper, changing sample gas into Ne gas from He gas and examining relation between the plasma control parameter and plasma parameter experimentally are reported.departmental bulletin pape
Adhesion Treatment of Graphite to SUS304 Stainless Steel
The commercial fuel cell is expensive, and cost reduction is required now. Therefore, the cost reduction of a fuel cell component, in particular, the separator is necessary. In this study, a new surface treatment has been proposed for the separator of SUS304 stainless steel to improve electric conductivity. At first, we attached the mixture, in which ethyl alcohol was added to graphite powder, to the surface of stainless steel uniformly. Then, the stainless steel was cold-rolled and obtained strong adhesion of the graphite powder.departmental bulletin pape

The successive present head of a household for 5 generations built many Shinto shrines and temples from the Meiji era. In addition, many building drawings are left in the Sakais. Distribution of NOx concentration along roadway
Mean values measured by the roadside monitoring station are generally used to judge status of air pollution. However, concentration of polluted air elements is changing every moment due to various factors such as aerial flow and vehicle traffic flow. Variation data of NOx concentration are necessary to grasp actual status. In our research activities, measurement has been carried out at various points along roadway where traffic volume is high. Distribution of NOx concentration along roadway is important for residents' health but cannot be obtained using measured data from one fixed monitoring station. In this report, measurement results of 3-dimensional NOx distribution surrounding the Route 23 in Nagoya-City and area to satisfy the environmental standards are going to be presented.departmental bulletin pape
Effectiveness of DNA tests for raw materials of fishery processed food
The Japan Agricultural Standard (JAS) law revised in 1999 obligates correct labeling of quality representation. To ensure correct labeling, it is necessary to establish scientifically clear methods for classifying foods and to check the labeling. The method of using DNA is very useful for food classification and to check the labeling. However, as for DNA analysis, a technical and financial burden is large. Therefore we tested use of Chelex method for DNA extraction. Chelex method is a simple and low-cost method. We applied Chelex method to white meat fish's fry. We were able to identify Macruronus novaezelandiae and Theragra chalcogramma. The present results show that Chelex method is able to use for DNA analysis.departmental bulletin pape
Strength of wooden buildings for snow load in Fukui Pref. (Part 2)
The snow load when the wooden buildings were damaged by "1981 heavy snowfall" is estimated, and the strength of wooden buildings for snow load in Fukui Prefecture is discussed. As a result, it is explained that strength of the wooden building is related to snow load for design of the area. This study shows good agreement with the study of the case of "2001 heavy snowfall" on this point.departmental bulletin pape
Laboratory investigation into control of soil compaction by resistivity
In this paper, based on two series of laboratory compaction tests with resistivity measurement, the relationships between the resistivity and physical properties of the soil and the selection of the optimum compaction control index are discussed. Discussed also is a procedure for correcting the reference value of the resistivity for the change of water content. It has been found that the air porosity or the volume water content is a reliable compaction control index. A procedure for correcting the reference value of the resistivity for the change of water content is presented. Seismic Performance Evaluation on Calculation Method of Response and limit Theory for Traditional Wooden House of Fukui
This study is planed to clarify the seismic performance for exiting traditional wooden house of Fukui. The structural style and detail of F's house build in Fukui city were investigated. Based on the distribution of the seismic structure elements, the seismic performance were evaluated by the response-limit capacity analysis. From the result of the response calculation, it is clarified that the seismic reinforcement is needed for the surveyed tradition wooden house.departmental bulletin pape
A Study on Simulation based Evaluation of Human Error in Operation and Maintenance for Nuclear Power Plants -System for Human Error Analysis and Evaluation-
Now large-scale systems such as nuclear power plants have been complicated. Therefore, it becomes increasingly necessary to analyze and evaluate the HMI(Human Machine Interface) for the reliability from the HF(Human Factor) standpoint. Meanwhile, it is also important to estimate the risk of HE(Human Error) in which task in an individual work process is based on the work manual. In this paper, we introduce three kinds of system that can do easily a quantitative analysis and evaluation concerning HE and/or HF. We adopt quantitative analysis method for HRA(Human Reliability Analysis), that is THERP(Technique for HE Rate Prediction) and Event Tree Analysis in the system. Using these systems, a person, who does not have enough knowledge of HF, can estimate a HE prevention method and a HMI remediation design, etc. in a series of work task.departmental bulletin pape
