Analysis of Various Frequency Selective Shielding Glass by FDTD method
Get PDFA frequency Selective shielding (FSS) glass is a print of many same size antennas on a sheet of glass, and it has high shielding properties for one specific frequency. This time, the author analyzed characteristics of various FSSs whose antenna types are different by FDTD method. The antenna types are cross dipole, circular loop, square loop, circular patch, and square patch. As the result, the FSSs can be composed of the various types of the antennas, and the FSSs have broad-band shielding characteristics when these antenna elements are thick. Photo-excited state and its relaxation of Sm2+ in Al2O3-SiO2
Get PDFFluorescene and optical excitation spectra of the Sm2+and Sm3+ in Al2O3-SiO2 glasses prepared by the sol-gel method are investigated. When the Sm3+-doped glass is heated in H2, the Sm3+ ions are reduced to the Sm2+ ions. This article represents optical properties of Sm2+ in the glass. Observation of Movement and Rise-and-Fall Process of Red Tide using Satellite Remote Sensing
Get PDFSince 2004, studies on triggering factors of the red tide have been carried out in Awara Space Radio Observatory (ASRO), Fukui University of Technology utilizing directly received data of MODIS on the Terra and Aqua satellites which have been acquired in ASRO. In the process of image data analysis, we obtained continuous seven days data series showing red tide bloom. This paper is the first report for the retrieval of the movement and rise-and-fall process of red tide using these data series. The preliminary results of our data analyses indicate the complicated eddy motion of the red tide in Wakasa Bay and relatively stable motion of the red tide on the Tsushima Current in inshore region of Shimane Prefecture and Tottori Prefecture. It is also indicated that the red tide moves with the sea current, repeating the increase and decrease of the concentration of Phytoplankton.departmental bulletin pape
