Input method Editor for Aerial Handwritten Gesture Recognition
Get PDFThis paper describes a method to recognize a character handwritten in the air. This recognition method uses the motion direction instead of positions of the device. It also doesn't use the information of pen up and down. It selects and orders character candidates with DP (dynamic programming) matching. We prototyped an application software that recognize a character by using mouse movements. In this time, we made virtual key input motion for input method editor. Dynamics of Two Nonlinear Coupled Self-Excited Oscillators
Get PDFThis paper discusses a mechanism of nonlinear interactions between tow nonlinear coupled Rayleigh's equations. Rayleigh's equation is well-known as a mathematical model to investigate the self-excited vibration. We present a nonlinear analysis based on the multiple scale method to solve this problems. Using the multiple scale method, we obtain two nonlinear evolutional equations of the amplitudes. In this paper, the authors address the attempt to teach the course by comparing the elaborately selected TV programs which share the same topic from various Chinese and Japanese TV programs. The authors choose the TV materials on China-Japan diplomatic relations and East Japan Great Earthquake from NHK, BTV (Beijing TV) and CCTV (China Central TV). The purpose is not only to have students understand the content from language level, but also to educate them to analyze the difference and background of TV production between the two countries. Therefore we investigated these enforcements situation and considered whether these have what kind of relation to quantity of snow. A Consideration of Self-evaluation to a Typing Test for Freshmen
Get PDFRecently, as ICT infiltrates our society widely, the typing skill that is basic to all the ICT skills has become important more and more. That is, it seems to be very important to be able to do touch typing in order to master PC such as using the word processor, e-mails, and spread sheets, etc. In this study, to make a data to think the directionality of teaching the typing skill, freshmen in a university being made to evaluate themselves of the typing test, the relationship between the evaluation and the input speed was examined. As a result, it has become clear that the freshmen tend to feel typing alphabets more difficult than Roman alphabets. In addition, while they are typing what they feel to be difficult, their tension rise and they feel the passage of time to be fast, which leads to their difficulty to put out enough results.departmental bulletin pape
