Consideration for Regional Banks in Hokuriku Area
In this manuscript, I analyzed financial structure about regional banks in Hokuriku area. A subject of investigation is Fukui Bank, Hokkoku Bank and Toyama Bank. Major matters for investigation are rate of cost and capital ratio. As a result, financial structure of all banks is good in ordinary times. But last year the bad loan problem arose at Fukui Bank. Fukui Bank corresponded to this problem quickly to help small and medium enterprise in Hokuriku area. So, I concluded that they contribute to Hokuriku area through the financial service in ordinary times and emergency.departmental bulletin pape
Two-photon Ionization of o-terphenyl in the presence of Cyclodextrin
Formation and decay of o-terphenyl(o-TP)radical cation and solvated electron during resonant two-photon ionization (TPI)of o-TP in the absence and presence of cyclodextrins were studied by transient absorption measurement using 266-nm laser flash photolysis technique. Ionization of o-TP occurred within the time interval of the laser flash (5 ns)to give o-TP radical cation (o-TP˙+), which was confirmed by the observation of solvated electron at 720 nm in the presence of α-, β-, andγ-cyclodextrins (α-CD, β-CD, and γ-CD, respectively) in water solvent. The radical cation and the electrons were generated by two-photon excitation by means of simultaneous irradiation from a 266-nm laser, and the ionization yields of BP in the presence of α-CD, β-CD, and γ-CD depended on the properties of the complexes with CDs.departmental bulletin pape
Seismic Performance Evaluation of Traditional Mud-Plastered Wall with Openings in Fukui
This study is planed to clarify the seismic performance for existing traditional mud-plastered wall of Fukui. The static loading test of two wooden frames with mud-plastered wall with openings are reported. From the results of shear mud wall tests, the hysteresis characteristics, the hysteretic envelope curve and the bracing unit multiplier of the mud wall are clarified to evaluate the seismic performance.departmental bulletin pape
Driving Mechanism of a Travelling Wave Ultrasonic Motor(Examination of the Frictional Condition)
We discuss the contact behavior between a stator and a liner that sticks to a rotor of an ultrasonic motor. It is well known that this contact behavior greatly influences the driving mechanism of the ultrasonic motor. We propose a numerical technique which is based on Finite Element Method using an incremental theory. This technique enables us to consider the contact processes. In this paper, we analyze it in consideration of the frictional condition along the tangential incline of the deformed liner surface and obtain some pieces of new knowledge about the nonlinear contact behavior between the stator and liner.departmental bulletin pape
A Re-examination of the Place of Farewell Service in Crematorium and a Modest Proposal Design
This study is to investigate the place for farewell service in crematorium architectures. 36 examples of the crematoriums in Japan built from 1983 to 2007 are examined. It could be concluded that the formations of “farewell service room" and “anterior hall for cremation chamber" are classified into 5 types. In addition to the study, a modest proposal design for crematorium is presented in this paper.departmental bulletin pape
Research of a Remote Controlled Monitoring Robot
We have developed a remote radiation monitoring robot. The purpose of this robot is that, on such as the scene of the accident of the nuclear power plant, to measure the radiation dose, identification of radioactive material and the understanding of the field situation. By experiments, we have confirmed that the following. (1)Driving performance on level ground, step, stairs and slope. (2)Process of operation progress. (3)Factors that change the operability. (4)Possibility of identification of radioactive material by telemetry. In this study, the foundation of remote controlled robot monitoring radiation could be established. With the aim of practical use, we will continue to further research.departmental bulletin pape
Study on Reactor Power Transient Characteristics (Reactor Training Experiments) –Control Rod Reactivity Calibration by Positive Period Method and other Experiment–
In this paper, it is reported about some experiments that have been carried out in the reactor training that targets sophomore of the department of applied nuclear engineering, FUT. Reactor of Kinki University Atomic Energy Research Institute (UTR-KINKI) was used for reactor training. When each critical state was achieved at different reactor output respectively in reactor operating, it was confirmed that the control rod position at that time does not change. Further, control rod reactivity calibration experiments using positive Period method were carried out for shim safety rod and regulating rod, respectively. The results were obtained as reasonable values in comparison with the nominal value of the UTR-KINKI. The measurement of reactor power change after reactor scram was performed, and the presence of the delayed neutron precursor was confirmed by calculating the half-life. The spatial dose rate measurement experiment of neutrons and γ-rays in the reactor room in a reactor power 1W operating conditions were also performed.departmental bulletin pape
A Study on the Judge for the Liquor Items Related to the Liquor Tax Law of Japan.
Judging the name of the right liquor items based on the current liquor tax is very complicated due to the production methods, temperature, and mixture and so on. Applicants for the tax accountant face the difficulties each time they try to solve that kind of problems and I would show how to solve the problems for that issue, which might be helpful to the people concerned. I wish my study would give some successful hints on those problems to a certain extent.departmental bulletin pape
Practice and Evaluation of the Personal Computer Classroom for Citizens in a University
In Fukui University of Technology, the personal computer classrooms for citizens were held by the author from 2001 to 2012 every year. The contents of short courses were "Introduction to Word and Excel", and "Introduction to Homepage making and Power Point". Participants had training based on the manual of A4 paper about 100 pages created by the author. They were young and old of both sexes from 9 years old to his 80's, and the width of their age is very wide. The author has considered what should be taught how far to personal computer beginners. This paper introduces the contents to teach and the method of short courses, and also describes the result of participant questionnaires.departmental bulletin pape
Safety Management Education – The Penetration of First Aid Education among Students –
This study aimed to consider the direction of safety management education by investigating the actual situation of safety management education for our students, together with its effects. A written questionnaire survey was conducted among 100 students (age range: from 18 to 20 years, valid response rate: 99.0%). The survey demonstrated that rate of students who have never received first aid lectures on automated external defibrillation (AED), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) was 10.1%, 28.3%, and 81.8%, respectively. The rate that students responded that they “could not" execute AED, CPR, and RICE was 29.3%, 53.5%, and 84.8%, respectively. This study suggests that it might be necessary to encourage college students to actively participate in relevant training sessions or enhance current teaching practices.departmental bulletin pape
