'Effects of Male University Students' Exercise Habits on Body Composition, Physical Fitness, and Peripheral Blood Circulation Dynamics
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the exercise habits of male university students on body composition, physical fitness, and periphery blood circulation dynamics. The subjects consisted of, 50 male university students who engaged in regular physical exercise (the exercise group) and 19 who did not engage in regular exercise (the non-exercise group).The physical characteristics of the subjects were measured, including body composition, physical fitness (fitness test of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology), and periphery blood circulation dynamics (pulse rate, deviation of aging of blood vessels, and blood vessel age). There is no significant of height, weight, and BMI between the two groups. However, the body fat percentage of the exercise group was significantly lower than that of the non-exercise group. With respect to physical fitness, the scores of the exercise group were superior to those of the non-exercise group for the eight items tested. Regarding periphery blood circulation dynamics, only the pulse rate of the exercise group was significantly lower than the non-exercise group. A significant and less than equal to moderate correlation was found between pulse rate and physical fitness(eight items)(r=-0.42-0.28).departmental bulletin pape
興善寺山門と丸岡城遺構
Get PDF丸岡城の遺構といわれる門が、福井県内外の住宅や寺院にあるといわれている。しかし、その詳細な調査がおこなわれておらず、その実態については定かでなく、言い伝えに留まる。そこで、前稿ではその一つである坂井市丸岡町野中山王にある高椋家住宅の表門を実測調査し、さらに古絵図などを検討し、その信憑性について検討した。その結果、丸岡城の不明門が移築された櫓門であることにほぼ間違いないことを明らかにした。石川県小松市松任町85 にある浄土真宗本願寺派興善寺の山門も福井県坂井郡丸岡町(現坂井市)にあった丸岡城の裏門を移築したものと伝えられている。しかし、この山門も本当に丸岡城の遺構であるのかどうかについての調査や考察がなされたことを管見では知らない。そこで、本稿は興善寺山門を実測調査し、言い伝え通りの丸岡城遺構の城門である可能性を探るものである。実測調査はまず簡単な外観による事前調査を平成28 年7 月15 日におこない、その後本調査を同年11 月23 日、補足調査を平成29 年2 月25 日に実施した。本調査は福井工業大学建築生活環境学科吉田研究室および多米研究室学生の協力を得ておこなわれた。departmental bulletin pape
Fabrication and Characterization of Film-based Organic Electroluminescence
Get PDFIn this study, we report an investigation of the fabrication and characterization of film-based organic electroluminescence (OEL). The film-based OEL was fabricated by deposition of 4,4′,4′′-tris[2-naphthyl(phenyl)amino] triphenylamine (2T-NATA), tris (8-hydroxyquinolinato) aluminium (Alq3), LiF, and Al on the polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) film. The film-based OEL indicates the green emission, which is due to the fluorescence of Alq3, and highest luminance reached 4408 cd m-2. Additionally, it was also confirmed that film-based OEL indicated the green emission in the curved state. From these results, we concluded that the film-based OEL functioned as a flexible OEL.departmental bulletin pape
A Study on Ex-post Evaluation of the New Station Opening : A Case of Matsumoto-Machiya Station Echizen, Railway Station
Get PDFIn this research, we focused on influence and effect by the New Station Opening. We analyzed what kind of change occurred the New Station Opening (change of conditions) to the residents' activity, travel behavior and consciousness by questionnaire survey. The main results are as follows: 1) "Shift to the new station" and "new user" are indeed existing. 2) The influence to give resident's activity, travel behavior varies according to mobility level. And the new station opening effectively advanced the utilization of railway for a higher mobility level. 3) Many of the users of the new station recognize improvement of QOL.4) Regardless of whether or not user, many residents are recognizing "the existence value of the new station".departmental bulletin pape

Development of Smart Rainwater Harvesting System for Detached House
Get PDFIn this study, we develop a smart rain water harvesting system for a detached house equipped two 2 m3 rainwater tanks. In this system, the rainwater stored in two rainwater storage tanks is used for sanitation, laundry and gardening. The computer controlled first flush remover was developed for the purpose of improving of the water quality in storage tanks and the collection efficiency of fresh rainwater. The Relationship between Ability to Maintain a Stable Posture on an Unstable Stool and Area of Center of Gravity Displacement in Male University Soccer Player
Get PDFVarious tests have been developed to assess the ability to balance. The area of the center of gravity displacement test (voluntary stimulation test: VS test) assesses balancing ability when a person is subjected to added physical stimulation to make the body unstable. On the contrary, the test related to maintaining a stable posture on an unstable stool (involuntary stimulation test: IS test) assesses the balancing ability when a person is subjected to added physical stimulation while continuously standing. This study aimed to examine the relationship between each of these tests and balancing ability. The subjects were 16 male competitive soccer players (mean age, 19.3 years; SD, 1.2 years). The outline area for the VS test and the stable index for the IS test were selected as evaluation parameters. The relationship between these parameters was examined by Pearson correlation coefficient. The significance level in this study was set at p 0.05).
