Study of Computational Structure in the Teaching Material Using Gaming Simulation
Get PDF本研究では、マーケティング教育のための初心者向けシミュレーションゲーム開発を取り上げ、シミュレーションゲームを設計段階においてシミュレートすることにより、ゲームの特性とゲーム性に関して分析と検討を行った。本シミュレーションゲームは、参加チーム各社に按分される客数を、意思決定項目から算出される競争力の相対値により計算している。本研究では、新たに「利益競争力」の価を、ゲーム設計段階において予め計算することにより、ゲームの特性と傾向の概略を定量的に把握できることを示した。設計段階におけるシミュレーションにおいては、ゲーム第1期目の順位が最終期の順位に与える影響、最終期に1位になる確立、1ゲームあたりの回数(以下、期数)に関し、それらの相互の関係に焦点を当て詳細な分析を行った。設計段階においてシミュレーションゲームの計算構造を簡易にチューニング(調整)できることを想定し、プレイヤーの意思決定を擬似乱数により行うシミュレーションを行った。その結果、第1期目の順位が高ければ、最終期まで優位を保ちやすいことが判明した。さらに、第1期目の順位が低い場合に、1ゲームにおける期数を、最終順位において逆転の可能性をもたせる期数に設定することにより、逆転できる確率が高まることを示した。
This paper analyzes the computational structure of the business simulation game as a teaching tool of management studies. The game is designed to assign the number of customers to each player company based on the relative value of competitiveness among playing companies. This paper analyzes the trend of competitiveness among players in quantitative value by calculating the "competitive power of profit" during the design phase of the simulation game. The study showed the following findings: (1) a player with superior performance in the first round tends to continue better performance toward the final round, (2) a player with inferior performance in the first round can increase the chance of achieving higher performance by adjusting the number of game rounds during the design phase of the game.departmental bulletin pape
