Get PDFIn response to the upsurge of violence precipitated by Mexico’s war on drug-trafficking a number of groups of civilian activists have joined in a concerted effort to promote the public acknowledgment of the body counts as human losses rather than abstract numbers or collateral damage. This paper analyses the process by which the sensitive and emotive experiences fostered by some of these strategies developed during 2010 and 2011 give form to a shared outrage that expresses and articulates losses, issues and problems that both the State and the society at large refuse to acknowledge.La violencia precipitada por la guerra contra el narcotráfico en México ha motivado el surgimiento de iniciativas ciudadanas encaminadas a propiciar que los conteos de muertos y desaparecidos sean reconocidos como pérdidas de vidas humanas insustituibles y no como cifras abstractas o daños colaterales. El presente artículo analiza la manera en que las experiencias sensoriales y afectivas suscitadas por algunas de estas estrategias desarrolladas durante 2010 y 2011, dan forma a una indignación compartida que expresa y articula pérdidas, asuntos y problemas que no son cabalmente reconocidos ni por el Estado ni por la sociedad civil en su conjunto

Get PDFThis paper analyzes the convergent process of State reform and legal and illegal private actors that shaped a mixed order through which the regional territory was transformed, and was promoted the desregulation of agro-industry of avocado and a violent hoarding of resources and opportunities in southwestern Michoacán. First we defined the framework and within a contextual historical analysis we present empirical evidence that explains the configuration, consolidation and expansion of the social order, that was possible only to the extent that legal and institutional mechanisms were coupled with the illegal practice of violence and the state economic deregulation.Este artículo analiza el proceso convergente de reformas estatales y agentes priva-dos legales e ilegales que configuraron un ordenamiento mixto mediante el cual se transformó el territorio regional, se promovió la expansión desregulada de la agroindustria del aguacate y el acaparamiento violento de los recursos y las oportunidades en el suroeste de Michoacán. Para ello definimos los ordenamientos mixtos y en un análisis histórico-contextual presentamos evidencia empírica que explica la configuración, consolidación y expansión del ordenamiento social, posible solamente en la medida que se acoplaron mecanismos legales e institucionales con el ejercicio ilegal de la violencia y la desregulación económica estatal

In Argentina, anarchism was badly damaged as a result of the repression of the Centenary, and discussions that were produced by the war, exacerbated the problems. So the issues that impelled the debate were how to interpret the war and what role should the revolutionary minority have.El estallido de la Primera Guerra Mundial provocó en el anarquismo un profundo e intenso debate que no se circunscribió a sus secciones europeas, ni a la publicación del pro-Entente Manifiesto de los Dieciséis de Kropotkin, Malato y Grave, sino que comenzó apenas iniciada la guerra y se expandió por todo el mundo. En Argentina, el anarquismo se encontraba muy dañado como consecuencia de la represión del Centenario, y los debates que se produjeron por la contienda agudizaron los problemas. La pobreza que no está en los pobres
Get PDFWhen poverty must be measure the real thing that is done is the measure of the poor. Since the seminars on poverty, the concept of poverty needs to be thought in three faces: poor, poverty itself, and impoverishment. First the individual, second the context and third the process these are three expressions of different faces, different concepts. So poverty is not on the poor, is beyond it. For a good approach that gives expressions of the impoverishment, we want to compare multidimensional and classic poverties. Want to see with the comparison some consequences of the new classification. Not all of them are for good. The graphic that shows the results is not as rectangular as they pretend. The columns do not have the same height, so with a proposition want to make more explicit the numbers and groups done with the income survey. First discuss the shape and then to name a new graphic done with geographic information system software, this text creates a new vision of the problem. All of this is enclosed with some tables of minimum wage involved in income structure. So the poverty could be seen acting out of the poor individuals.Cuando se menciona la medición de la pobreza, lo que sucede en realidad es la medición del pobre. A partir de seminarios de discusión, el concepto de pobreza requiere ser pensado en tres caras: pobre, pobreza y empobrecimiento. Sujeto, contexto y proceso. Son tres expresiones de diferentes caras, diferentes conceptos. Así, la pobreza está más allá del pobre. Para acercarse a las manifestaciones del empobrecimiento, se comparan las dos clasificaciones de la pobreza, la multidimensional y la clásica. Se pueden ver algunos aspectos que genera la nueva clasificación. No todos para bien. La gráfica oficial que se ha usado para dar los resultados, no es lo satisfactoria como pretenden al presentarla como rectángulo. Las columnas en las que se divide no tienen mismas alturas, lo que hace algunas falacias. La gráfica propuesta pretende hacer explícitos los datos involucrados e indicar características de los grupos según ingresos. Primero se discute la forma y después se genera una gráfica digital. Con esto se genera una nueva visión del problema. Todo esto permite el marco necesario para discutir acerca del salario mínimo y su participación en la estructura de ingresos.
