    No full text
Social media, especially Instagram, plays a crucial role in digital tourism promotion by serving as a medium for cultural expression. Through visual and textual content, these platforms play a crucial role in influencing audience perceptions of cultural values, especially in tourism campaigns such as Wonderful Indonesia. This study examined the use of Charles Sanders Peirce’s semiotic theory of icon, index, and symbol in analyzing Balinese cultural representations featured in the Wonderful Indonesia Instagram advertisements. The study aims to identify sign types and the sign meaning. Using a qualitative descriptive method, five cultural themes Kuningan Day, Kecak Dance, Legong Dance, Melukat, and the Pelebon Ceremony were analyzed through textual and visual content from posts published between 2023 and 2024. The findings revealed that a total of 62 signs were identified, consisting of approximately 32 symbolic signs, 17 indexical signs, and 15 iconic signs. Symbolic signs appear consistently, reflecting their role in conveying Balinese values, rituals, and spirituality. Indexical signs refer to direct cultural elements, while iconic signs represent visual resemblance. Then focused on the sign meanings in each cultural element to gain a deeper understanding of the values, rituals, and spiritual significance conveyed through the advertisements

Electronic medical record (EMR) systems are replacing manual methods to improve the management of patient information, increase data accuracy and work efficiency of healthcare workers, particularly in medical record units. Despite obstacles such as lack of infrastructure and user skills, previous researchers have shown that electronic medical records (EMR) have positive effects on work effectiveness including reduced service time and increased efficiency in carrying out tasks. The Objective of this research is to establish what the application of RME entails and work effectiveness in the medical record unit of Ciremai Hospital. This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach featuring a cross-sectional design. The participants in this study consisted of 26 medical record officers with purposive sampling technique using inclusion and exclusion criteria, by collecting questionnaire data. The results showed that most respondents rated the application of RME as very good (66.7%) and work effectiveness in the good category (58.3%). The highest scores of the RME implementation aspects were in confidentiality (98.3%), integrity (97.7%), and data availability (96.9%). Meanwhile, in work effectiveness, the highest score was in the aspect of work quantity (97.9%), followed by work quality (94.1%) and work time (73.5%). However, based on the Fisher Exact test, a significance value of 1.000 (p 0.05) was obtained, indicating that there was no significant relationship between the implementation of RME and the work effectiveness of officers. In conclusion, although RME is considered to have been implemented very well, work effectiveness is not directly influenced by the implementation of this system. It indicated the need for evaluation of other factors such as training, change management, and infrastructure readiness served as the main support for the successful implementation of information technology in hospitals

    No full text
Solid soap is a body cleansing preparation commonly used to maintain skin health, especially for the purpose of perfuming, improving body odor. Some previous studies have developed solid soap formulations with red dragon fruit peel extract, but no studies have combined it with other natural ingredients that are humectant and antibacterial such as pure honey. The purpose of this study was to determine the concentration of formulations that provide the most effective stability results for solid bath soap preparations of dragon fruit peel extract combined with pure honey. The method used in this research is experimental, making simplisia of red dragon fruit skin then extracted with 70% ethanol solvent. Solid bath soap was formulated with different concentrations of pure honey and red dragon fruit peel extract in each formula. In this study, the results of formulation I did not meet the requirements on hardness and foam stability. Formulation II did not meet the requirements on pH, foam stability, and free fatty acids. Formulation III did not meet the requirements on pH, hardness, foam stability, and free fatty acids. Based on the hedonic test, formulation II was most liked by panelists on color, aroma, and shape. So it can be concluded that the characteristics of the three formulas differ based on the concentration levels of honey and extracts used and the most effective stability results are found in formulation I
