THE INFLUENCE OF RELIGIOSITY AND HALAL LABELING ON THE PURCHASE DECISIONS OF PACKAGED FOOD PRODUCTS
Get PDFThis research aims to investigate consumer perceptions and behavior towards halal labels. Religiosity has a significant impact on various aspects of life, such as cultural beliefs and human behavior. This research is field research with a quantitative approach. Namely the type of research used to test theories through research variables and analyze data using statistical procedures. The sample used in this research was 98 people from the village of Tanjung Rema Martapura, Banjar Regency. The results of this research show that can be interpreted that the halal label and religiosity have a significant influence and has been proven to have a partial effect on purchasing decisions. The halal label has a more significant impact on purchasing decisions than religiosity due to reasons related to trust, convenience, and clarity in the offered product. The halal label provides clear assurance to consumers, as products with this label have gone through a certification process that ensures adherence to cleanliness, safety, and quality standards. This differs from religiosity, which is more subjective and tends to vary among individuals
THE RELEVANCE OF THE SHORT STORY SYAMSYUN AL-JABBAR TO THE NARRATIVE OF PROPHET SYAM'UN: A NEW HISTORICISM STUDY
Get PDFThis study examines the relevance of characterization and plot in the short story Syamsyun Al-Jabbar by Kamil Kilani to the historical narrative of Prophet Syam’un using a New Historicism approach. The research aims to reveal the similarities and connections between the narrative elements of the short story and the historical account of Prophet Syam’un, which remains relatively unknown to the public. Data for this study were collected through library research by analyzing the short story Syamsyun Al-Jabbar and various historical sources documenting the life of Prophet Syam’un. The study employs a qualitative method with parallel analysis, comparing the text of the short story with historical sources. The findings reveal the relevance of the character Syamsyun to Prophet Syam’un, Dalilah to the Prophet's wife, and Sultan to the disbelievers, along with a parallelism in the plot comprising four main stages. In conclusion, the short story Syamsyun Al-Jabbar symbolically represents the history of Prophet Syam’un, emphasizing his existence in a way that highlights his underappreciated historical significance
RESISTANCE TO GENDER STEREOTYPES: AN ANALYSIS OF THE CHARACTER FARCHAH IN THE FILM BY DARIN J. SALLAM

This study investigates the portrayal of gender stereotypes and women's resistance in the film Farchah (2021) by Darin J. Sallam. The research focuses on analyzing the textual representation of female stereotypes and the character Farchah's resistance to them, using Naomi Wolf's feminist theory as the analytical framework. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method combined with library research to analyze primary data in the form of dialogues and scenes from the film, as well as secondary data from relevant literature. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed systematically to identify patterns and meanings in the text. The findings reveal five dominant stereotypes imposed on women in the film: (1) women must marry early; (2) women do not need higher education; (3) women should stay close to home; (4) women are expected to cook; and (5) women are inherently weak. Additionally, the study identifies corresponding acts of resistance by Farchah, including: (1) rejecting an arranged marriage; (2) pursuing education; (3) aspiring to live in the city; (4) refusing to conform to traditional cooking roles; and (5) displaying physical and psychological courage by escaping confinement and using firearms. This research contributes to feminist film studies by demonstrating how Farchah challenges traditional gender roles and highlights women's agency in confronting societal expectations
THE MEANING AND SYMBOLISM OF SURAH AL-LAHAB FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF ROLAND BARTHES' SEMIOTICS
Get PDFThe data for this study were sourced directly from the Qur'anic text of Surah al-Lahab, complemented by interpretations from classical and contemporary Tafsir literature, including Tafsir Ibn Kathir and Tafsir al-Misbah. Data were collected through textual analysis, identifying key terms such as لهب (lahab), يدا (yadaa), سيصلى (sayaslaa), الحطب (al-hatab), and مسد (masad), which serve as signifiers. These were then analyzed using semiotic techniques to reveal their denotative meanings ("flame," "both hands," "firewood," and "fiber rope") and connotative interpretations that symbolize punishment, loss, and eternal suffering. The study employed a qualitative approach, integrating linguistic and semiotic analysis to uncover layered meanings in the text. Roland Barthes' semiotic framework was utilized to deconstruct the mythological and ideological dimensions of the Surah. Findings indicate that Abu Lahab (real name: Abdul-Uzza) epitomizes loss and condemnation to Hellfire for his hostility toward the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Furthermore, his wife, complicit in spreading slander and opposing the prophetic message, faces similar punishment as described in the Surah. This type of research in quantitative research. The number of samples used in this research was 129 respondents taken from each sub-district in Boyolali District. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with the sample collection method via Google Form and distributing questionnaires offline. Data analysis techniques use SPSS 21. The research results show that the relationship marketing variable partially has no effect on customer loyalty. Product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Then simultaneously relationship marketing, product quality, and customer satisfaction influence customer Loyalty in the Twenty Five Florist home industry in Boyolali

A POETIC CRITIQUE OF SOCIAL BEAUTY STANDARDS AND GENDER ROLES IN MARGE PIERCY’S BARBIE DOLL
Get PDFThis study explores how cultural narratives in poetry reveal and critique societal beauty standards and fixated gender roles. This poem is analyzed using qualitative content analysis, through the lens of myth and symbol theory, psychoanalytic feminism, and gender role theory to uncover deeper meanings behind symbolic representations and internalized expectations in the poem. The figure of the Barbie doll serves as a cultural myth, promoting an idealized femininity that reinforces traditional norms. These ideals, internalized through early socialization and unconscious pressure, shape women’s identities, leading to emotional conflict and self-alienation. Gender roles theory further explains how behaviors, responsibilities, and values are assigned based on socially constructed expectations, often limiting individual potential. The poem demonstrates how these societal forces prioritize appearance over ability, suppressing authenticity and self-worth. Through its critique, the poem remains a powerful commentary on how enduring myths and roles continue to influence women’s lives in contemporary society.Keywords: appearance, Barbie Doll, beauty standard, gender roles, stereotyp
The Theology of Ibn Taymiyyah and the Rise of Salafi Ideology in Indonesia
No full textThis article explores the evolution of Ibn Taymiyyah’s theological thought and its influence on the rise of Salafi ideology in Indonesia. Ibn Taymiyyah is recognized as a prominent theologian who emphasized the purification of Islamic teachings by returning to the Qur’an and Sunnah. His concept of tawhid, Rububiyyah, Uluhiyyah, and Asma’ wa Sifat, became the fundamental basis for Salafi movements that reject rational interpretation and uphold the supremacy of revelation. This study employs a qualitative approach using library research and content analysis of Ibn Taymiyyah’s works as well as literature on Salafi ideology. The findings reveal that Salafi ideology has developed into several categories: Salafi Ilmi, which focuses on education and scholarly transmission; Salafi Manhaj, which emphasizes methodological approaches in da’wah; Salafi Jihadi, which advocates armed struggle; and Salafi Takfiri, which is characterized by extreme excommunication of others. The Islamic University of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud serves as a strategic institution in disseminating these ideas through education, religious outreach (da'wah), and its alumni network across various countries, including Indonesia. Thus, the connection between Ibn Taymiyyah, Salafism, and Imam Muhammad ibn Saud University reflects a strong ideological continuity in shaping contemporary religious practices focused on the purification of creed and worship

Get PDFPenelitian ini mengeksplorasi pembelajaran hadis di RA DWP UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta untuk anak usia 5-6 tahun, dengan fokus pada strategi yang meningkatkan daya ingat anak. Tujuannya adalah menemukan metode efektif dalam pengajaran hadis. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif ini melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran melalui gerakan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal dan pemahaman anak terhadap hadis. Temuan menyoroti bahwa gerakan membantu anak-anak mengingat hadis dan merangsang perkembangan motorik. Pendekatan ini membuat pembelajaran hadis menyenangkan dan mudah dipahami. Kerja sama antara guru dan orang tua, dengan orang tua melafalkan hadis di rumah, juga berperan penting. Kesimpulannya, metode pembelajaran hadis melalui gerakan di RA DWP UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan daya ingat anak dan membentuk karakter Islami sejak dini
Kegiatan Bermain Menggunakan Pendekatan Unplugged Coding dalam Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini: Sebuah Tinjauan Sistematis
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi integrasi pembelajaran coding unplugged dalam kegiatan bermain di pendidikan anak usia dini. Seiring dengan semakin bergantungnya abad ke-21 pada teknologi digital, mendorong perluasan pembelajaran coding ke dalam satuan pendidikan AUD. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan unplugged efektif untuk membangun pengetahuan dasar tentang konsep pemrograman dan pemikiran komputasi. Namun, penelitian mengenai integrasi pembelajaran coding dalam kegiatan bermain di PAUD masih terbatas dan sebagian besar guru PAUD di Indonesia belum mengetahui tentang pendekatan ini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini akan meninjau literatur terkait dan memberikan contoh konkret dari kegiatan bermain unplugged coding di PAUD. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi berbagai aktivitas bermain seperti sorting patterns, treasure hunt, dan sequencing stories yang dapat mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir komputasional anak, termasuk pengenalan pola, algoritma, dan abstraksi. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan wawasan dan minat guru PAUD dalam mengintegrasikan pembelajaran coding dalam kegiatan bermai dan dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan kemampuan berpikir komputasi anak usia dini
