Academic Resilience among Final-Year Health Professional Students: Programmatic and Gender Variations in Indonesia
Academic resilience is a crucial attribute for students in health-related disciplines to adapt and thrive amid high academic and clinical demands. Objective: This study aims to analyze the level of academic resilience among final-year students across various health disciplines, identify variations in resilience levels, and explore the implications for developing more targeted academic support and mental health interventions. Method: This study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using a cross-sectional survey design. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire adapted from a validated scale, the Academic Resilience Scale (ARS-6). The study population consisted of 272 final-year undergraduate and diploma students from nine health-related study programs at a private higher education institution in Indonesia, selected through convenience sampling. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. Results: The findings indicate that the majority of respondents (84.92%) demonstrated high levels of academic resilience. Male students tended to exhibit higher mean resilience scores (38.15) and more stable distributions compared to female students (35.15). In terms of study programs, undergraduate Dentistry and diploma Midwifery recorded the highest average resilience scores, whereas undergraduate Nursing and undergraduate Pharmacy showed the lowest. Conclusion: Although most final-year students in health-related programs exhibit high academic resilience, significant variations exist across study programs and between genders
Decolonizing History Education through Digitalization: The Role of Website-Based History Writing Projects in Validating Local Knowledge and Shaping Historical Awareness
This study examines the role of website-based digital history writing in advancing the decolonization of history education within the Primary Teacher Education Program (PGSD). Grounded in a qualitative descriptive approach, the research involved 40 second-year PGSD students participating in a semester-long digital history project that emphasized local historical inquiry, archival research, and digital storytelling. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of student-produced website content and reflective journals. The findings indicate that digital history projects facilitate the validation of local knowledge by enabling students to critically juxtapose colonial archives with oral and community-based sources. This process contributed to a significant transformation in students’ historical consciousness, shifting from traditional and exemplary orientations toward critical and genetic levels. Moreover, the integration of website media fostered digital literacy, ethical awareness, and reflective historical thinking, positioning students as active producers rather than passive consumers of historical narratives. Despite challenges related to digital inequality and ethical representation, the study demonstrates that digitalization, when aligned with decolonial pedagogy, offers a powerful framework for developing inclusive and contextually grounded history education. The findings underscore the potential of digital platforms to support epistemic justice and to prepare future elementary teachers to implement decolonized history learning in schools
Mediating Role of Brand Loyalty in Driving Consumer Advocacy: Evidence from the Coffee Shop Industry
This study examines the role of brand loyalty as a mediating variable in the relationship between brand satisfaction, brand attachment, and consumer advocacy in the modern coffee industry, using Kopi Kenangan as a case study. Empirical evidence suggests that consumer satisfaction with product and service quality does not always lead to voluntary advocacy behavior. Guided by Expectancy-Disconfirmation Theory (EDT), this study investigates how functional satisfaction and emotional attachment influence loyalty and subsequently encourage consumer advocacy. A quantitative approach was employed with purposive sampling of 150 respondents who had been active Kopi Kenangan customers for at least six months. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS. The results indicate that brand satisfaction and brand attachment have a positive and significant effect on brand loyalty, while brand loyalty strongly influences consumer advocacy. Furthermore, brand loyalty mediates the relationship between brand satisfaction and brand attachment with consumer advocacy. These findings confirm that brand loyalty is shaped not only by functional satisfaction but also by a strong emotional bond between consumers and brands. This study provides practical insights for marketers to strengthen personalized brand experiences and develop emotionally driven loyalty strategies to foster sustainable consumer advocacy in the digital era

Beyond Strategy: Exploring Cultural Familiarity, Metacognition, and Learner Autonomy in Reading Comprehension:
Literature on reading strategies ignores the critical role of cultural familiarity in the strategic selection and metacognition control of learners. This phenomenological study explores the rationale for implementing reading strategies and for metacognitive control among learners in culturally familiar and unfamiliar texts. The paper argues that cultural context shapes the reasons for using or abandoning a specific strategy, a process controlled by learners’ autonomy. The findings show that learners commonly use Global strategies to attain efficiency with known texts. However, they use Problem-Solving strategies when texts become culturally irrelevant, indicating a strong strategic bifurcation. The Reading Comprehension Pathway (RCP) Model embodies this strategic process and reconceptualises comprehension as a dynamic pathway under cultural control. The RCP Model provides a general framework for developing culturally responsive English Language Teaching (ELT) pedagogy
Integrating Assistive Technology-Based Learning into Differentiated Instruction in Inclusive EFL Classrooms: Insights from Three Schools in Indonesia
Inclusive education aims to provide equitable learning opportunities for students with disabilities, and accordingly, multiple approaches have been employed to accomplish this goal.
