AN OPEN LABEL PROSPECTIVE STUDY TO EXPLORE THE EFFICACY OF IPECACUANHA IN CASES OF BRONCHIAL ASTHMA- CASE REPORT
Bronchial Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder characterized by episodes of breathlessness, wheezing, cough, chest tightness etc. caused due to bronchial hyper-responsiveness and variable air flow obstruction which is reversible spontaneously or with treatment. Homeopathic management of bronchial asthma shows promise as a complementary approach, particularly when integrated with conventional therapies. While preliminary evidence supports its potential benefits, further research is necessary to establish definitive clinical guidelines and validate the effectiveness of homeopathic treatments in asthma care. In India, about 15-20 million were estimated to be asthmatic. In India, its prevalence is about 2 percent. It is one of the causes of impaired quality of life with decreased ability to complete daily activities (85%), physical activity limitation (69%), loss in productivity at work (73%) or study (64%), and limits in leisure and lifestyle (78%). Homeopathy is a science based on laws of similar, which means it treats the disease with medicines producing similar symptoms when given in healthy individuals. Homeopathy treats the person as a whole. There are medicines given to treat the acute attacks of asthma as well as to prevent the recurrence of it, also to treat the allergies which may trigger the attack of asthma.

Thepresent studyaimed to formulateandevaluateacyclovir-loadedhydrogels for effective topicaldeliveryusingaBox–BehnkenDesign(BBD).Seventeenformulations(F1–F17)weredevelopedandoptimizedbasedondrugcontentandspreadability.Amongthese, formulationsF2,F9,andF16wereselectedforfurtherevaluationbasedontheirfavorablephysicochemicalproperties.ThepH,viscosity,extrudability,andin-vitrodrugreleaseof theoptimizedformulationswereassessedtodeterminetheirsuitabilityfor topicaluse.Thein-vitrodrugreleaseprofilerevealedsustaineddrugreleaseover12to24hours,withF16showingthehighest releaserate(98.45%),whileF9exhibitedthemostcontrolledreleasepattern.Kineticanalysisconfirmedthat thereleasefollowedfirst-orderandKorsmeyer–Peppasmodels, indicatinganon-Fickiandiffusionmechanism.Stabilitystudiesover90daysshowedminimalchanges indrugcontent andviscosity, confirming thestabilityof theoptimized formulationsunderdifferent storageconditions.Thesefindings suggest that acyclovirhydrogels, particularlyF9, offerapromisingandstablesystemforsustainedtopicalantiviraltherapy
SIMPLE RP-HPLC METHOD DEVELOPMENT & VALIDATION FOR ESTIMATION OF DAPAGLIFLOZIN AND METFORMIN IN MARKETEDFORMULATION
A simple, precise, accurate, and robust RP-HPLC method was developed and validated for the simultaneousestimation of Dapagliflozin (DAPA) and Metformin (MET) in pharmaceutical dosage forms, following ICHQ2(R1) guidelines. Chromatographic separation was achieved with well-resolved peaks, showing retention timesof 2.05 min for MET and 9.40 min for DAPA. The method exhibited excellent linearity over the concentrationrange of 5–25 µg/mL for both drugs, with correlation coefficients (r²) of 0.999. Accuracy, assessed throughrecovery studies, ranged from 98.24% to 99.07% for DAPA and 98.34% to 98.85% for MET, with low %RSDvalues, indicating trueness. Precision studies, including repeatability and intermediate precision, showed %RSDvalues below 0.2%, confirming high reproducibility. Robustness testing demonstrated that small deliberatechanges in chromatographic conditions did not significantly affect the results. The method exhibited highsensitivity, with LOD and LOQ values of 0.25/0.75 µg/mL for DAPA and 0.35/1.05 µg/mL for MET. Applicationto commercial tablet formulations revealed assay values of 99.80% for DAPA and 99.85% for MET, with %RSD<0.25%. The developed RP-HPLC method is suitable for routine quality control, stability studies, andsimultaneous estimation of Dapagliflozin and Metformin in combined dosage forms

Comparative Evaluation of Postoperative Pain Associated with Hand Files, Rotary, and Reciprocal File Systems: An In-Vivo Study
Background: Postoperative pain following root canal therapy is influenced by instrumentation technique, apical extrusion of debris, and periradicular inflammation. Newer systems such as HyFlex EDM (rotary) and Reciproc Blue (reciprocation) claim to minimize debris extrusion compared to traditional hand files.
Aim: To compare postoperative pain following root canal instrumentation using Hand K-files, HyFlex EDM rotary files, and Reciproc Blue reciprocal systems.
Materials and Methods: A randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted on 60 patients aged 18–50 years requiring root canal treatment in single-rooted teeth with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis. Patients were randomly divided into three groups (n=20 each): Group I: Hand K-files (step-back), Group II: HyFlex EDM (rotary), Group III: Reciproc Blue (reciprocation) Pain intensity was recorded using a Visual Analog Scale (VAS: 0–10) at 6 h, 12 h, 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h post-instrumentation. Standardized irrigation, obturation, and analgesic protocol were followed. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and post-hoc Tukey tests (p < 0.05).
Results: At all postoperative intervals, Reciproc Blue showed the lowest mean pain scores, followed by HyFlex EDM, while Hand files showed the highest pain levels. The difference was statistically significant at 12 h, 24 h, and 48 h (p < 0.05). By 72 h, pain levels in all groups were minimal with no significant difference.
Conclusion: Reciproc Blue files resulted in significantly less postoperative pain compared to Hand files and HyFlex EDM rotary systems. Reciprocation may reduce debris extrusion and inflammatory response, leading to better postoperative comfort.
 
An Open-Label Clinical Study Evaluating the Therapeutic Effect of Lashuna Rasayana in Gridhrasi (Sciatica)
In the daily clinical practice, Vatavyadhi is one of the most prevailing health problems and low back ache is one among them. Gridhrasi is one of the main causes for acute and chronic low back pain. Kandara or else termed as gridhrasi snayu is affected in gridhrasi causing ruja (pain) as the dominant feature. Snigdha sweda, virechana karma, niruha basti, anuvasana basti, agnikarma, siravyadha, shamana medications and rasayana form the complete treatment of gridhrasi in both the varieties with little difference. Treatment can be planned as Shamana Shodhana and Rasayana Chikitsa in Gridhrasi. Studies have shown that Rasayana Chikitsa helps in providing long term qualitative improvement in patients suffering from gridhrasi. Lashuna Rasayana is one such treatment modality wherein Vatavyadhi is being mentioned as an indication. Results showed that administration of Lashuna Rasayana is effective in the remission of the symptoms of Gridhrasi as evidenced by statistically significant reduction in the symptom score of various subjective and objective parameters

A review on Advances in Biomarker-Based Detection Strategies for Ovarian Cancer
Globally, ovarian cancer ranks as the eighth leading cause of cancer-related mortality among women. As a result of inadequate symptoms in its early stages, most cases are diagnosed at advanced stages, where treatment becomes more challenging. Standard therapeutic approaches primarily surgical tumor reduction followed by systemic chemotherapy is often hindered by the emergence of chemoresistance, affecting nearly three-quarters of patients and resulting in poor clinical outcomes. This underscores the urgent need to re-evaluate existing biomarkers and discover new ones that can enhance diagnostic accuracy and prognostic assessment. Biomarkers capable of identifying disease presence, progression, and treatment responsiveness could significantly improve early detection and patient survival rates. This review explores currently validated ovarian cancer-specific biomarkers and highlights innovative technologies and methodologies being employed to uncover novel diagnostic and prognostic indicators. Although symptoms such as abdominal discomfort, bloating, and urinary or bowel changes may suggest disease onset, they are frequently vague and nonspecific. Age, inherited genetic mutations, and a family history of cancer are recognized as key contributors to ovarian cancer risk. Promising biomarkers like CA-125, HE4, osteopontin, and genetic profiling are being investigated for early detection. Diagnosis typically involves imaging techniques and histopathological confirmation via biopsy. Treatment strategies vary based on cancer stage and type, encompassing surgery, chemotherapy, and targeted therapies. Timely diagnosis and effective intervention rely heavily on routine screenings and heightened awareness of potential warning signs.

Comparative Evaluation of Shear Bond Strength of 6th, 7th and 8th Generation Bonding Agent to Dentine: An In-Vitro Study
Background: Adhesive dentistry has progressed through multiple generations; each designed to simplify bonding procedures and enhance strength.
Aim: To compare the shear bond strength (SBS) of 6th-generation (Adper SE Plus), 7th-generation (Adper Easy One), and 8th-generation (G-Premio Bond) bonding agents.Materials and Methods: Sixty extracted human premolars were sectioned to expose flat dentin surfaces and randomly divided into three groups (n=20 each). Group I: 6th-generation Adper SE Plus, Group II: 7th-generation Adper Easy One, Group III: 8th-generation G-Premio Bond. Standard composite cylinders were bonded and subjected to SBS testing using a universal testing machine.
Results: G-Premio Bond (8th-gen) showed the highest SBS, followed by Adper SE Plus (6th-gen), while Adper Easy One (7th-gen) showed the lowest values. Differences were statistically significant (p < 0.05).
Conclusion: The newer 8th-generation adhesive demonstrated superior bond strength compared to 6th and 7th-generation systems.
