This studyaimed to explore the widespread adoption of new media for health-related enquiries, communication, and advice-seeking. It aims to assess the credibility of health information disseminated through social media and its increasing use for general health queries and specific conditions. Employing a comprehensive mixed-methods approach, this study aims to identify the factors that drive individuals' engagement with digital platforms related to health issues.     Genetic Variability Studies In Colored Pericarp Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.)

    The present investigation entitled “Genetic variability studies in colored pericarp sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench)” was carried out during rabi 2019- 20 at experimental farm of Sorghum research station, VNMKV, Parbhani comprising 81 genotypes to elicit the information on genetic divergence in colored pericarp sorghum and shoot fly tolerance and  nature and degree of genetic variability, heritability, genetic advance as percent mean Observation were recorded on 19 yield and shoot fly characters. Analysis of variance shows that there is considerable difference between the genotypes for all the traits. The result of genetic parameters revealed that moderate to high PCV, GCV, high heritability accompanied with high genetic advance was recorded for all the traits except days to 50% flowering, days to physiological maturity, 100-seed weight, threshability, and leaf angle this suggesting that the selection would be efficient for these characters to bring genetic enhancement in desired way. The traits viz., plant height, number of primaries per panicle, panicle length, panicle width, grain color, fodder yield had high heritability and positive correlation with yield so, simultaneous improvement of these traits along with grain yield is possible by simple selection.     KNOWLEDGE AND PERCEPTION REGARDING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN NURSING AMONG STAFF NURSES

    Background: Artificial Intelligence (AI), is the ability of computers to perform tasks typically associated with human intelligence, can impact millions of patients by changing how medicine is practiced. Integrating AI into nursing practice could significantly streamline workflows, reduce errors, and improve care efficiency by automating routine tasks and providing real-time decision support. Aim and Objective: To assess the knowledge and perception regarding AI in nursing among staff nurses. Methodology: A quantitative approach and descriptive design was chosen for this study among 204 staff nurses in Panimalar Medical College Hospital and Research Institute (PMCH&RI). A Convenient sampling technique was used to select samples who fulfilled the inclusion criteria. The structured knowledge questionnaire, 3 point likert scale were used to assess the level of knowledge and perception. Results: The study findings revealed that 64.21% and 51.96% of samples had inadequate knowledge and low perception level. The calculated r-value r=0.29 for knowledge and perception showed a very high statistical significant at p=0.001, it’s indicate a positive correlation between knowledge and perception. Conclusion: The study results depicted that the staff nurses' knowledge of AI in nursing increases, their perceptions toward it are likely to improve. The study suggests that to ensure the effective adoption of AI in nursing, it is crucial to invest in education, training, and institutional support, empowering nurses to embrace these technologies and improve patient care.     Spectrophotometric Analysis of Homoeopathic medicated Mustard hair oil by Thuja occidentalis Q

    Background Thuja occidentalis, also referred to as Arbor vitae or white cedar, is a lovely tree that originated in eastern North America and is currently grown in Europe (Chang LC, Song LL, Park EJ). Local Indians in Canada first identified the herb as a remedy during a sixteenth-century campaign, and it was discovered to be effective in treating scurvy deficiency (Millspaugh CF). According to the British Herbal Pharmacopoeia, Thuja occ has been used in human medicine to treat bronchial catarrh, enuresis, cystitis, psoriasis, uterine carcinomas, amenorrhea, and stiffness. According to the Homöopathisches Arzneibuch, Thuja Monograph. Deutscher Apotheker Verlag, it is primarily used as mother color or weakening in homeopathy nowadays. Its immunopharmacological capability has been demonstrated in several test models demonstrating its immunostimulating and antiviral actions in vitro and in vivo. Thuja's substance of thujone, which is thought to be the poisonous specialist of some new plants that are crucial for the human pass on diet, is a fundamental component for its use as a therapeutic spice. Methodology By combining the Thuja occidentalis mother tincture, obtained from various pharmaceutical businesses, into the basis of mustard oil as the vehicle component at drug and vehicle ratio followed by decimal scale, i.e. 1:9, homoeopathic medicated hair oil was prepared. By using a double-beam UV-visible spectrophotometer, spectra were analyzed. Results Absorbance capacity of Standard Thuja occidentalis- Q (GMP Certified Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd ) is 0.971 at 608.00.00 nm, Absorbance capacity of Prepared Thuja occidentalis mustard Hair oil (Thuja occidentalis- Q (GMP Certified Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd) is 0.951 at 697.00 nm, Absorbance capacity of Standard Thuja occidentalis- Q ((GMP Certified Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd ) is 0.912 at 607.00 nm, Absorbance capacity of Prepared Thuja occidentalis Mustard hair oil (Thuja occidentalis-Q (GMP Certified Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd ) is 0.760 at 535.00 nm, Absorbance capacity of Standard Thuja occidentalis- Q ((GMP Certified Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd) is 0.767 at 606.00 nm, Prepared Thuja occidentalis Mustard hair oil (Thuja occidentalis-Q (GMP Certified Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd.) is 0.373 at 610.00 nm.     Role of Ficus racemosa L. (Moraceae) in Biodiversity Conservation

    Genus Ficus (Family- Moraceae) is the large and oldest genus present on earth which comprised more than 700 species. It is extremely significant for retaining the biodiversity in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. The Ficus racemosa L. typically contributes to the provision of several ecosystem services in rural settings through plant-organism interactions. Fig wasps have unique mutualistic association with this plant species for pollination and consequently, this plant produced fruit throughout the year. The majority of frugivorous avian and chiropteran species rely on them for a healthy diet, due to the high quantities of rare nutrients found in fig fruits. The diverse forms of organisms that includes, 7 species of aves to 3 species of a mammals from advanced class (frugivorous and insectivorous bats) visited this plant species for food supply and habitation (nesting, roosting, settling, and perching etc.). These animals and birds plays crucial role in the dispersal of tropical seeds. The ripe and unripe fruits, as well as leaves, are used as fodder for domestic live stocks. Humans devour ripened fruits as well as used immature fruits in their savory cuisines. It is popularly used as medicinal plant in ayurveda to treat various ailments.     A CASE STUDY WITH HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINE IN SOCIAL ANXIETY DISORDER

    Anxiety is closely related to fear, the two states possess important differences. Fear involves an instantaneous reaction to an imminent threat, whereas anxiety involves apprehension, avoidance, and cautiousness regarding a potential threat, danger, or other negative event (Craske, 1999). While anxiety is unpleasant to most people, it is important to our health, safety, and well-being. Anxiety disorders are characterized by excessive and persistent fear and anxiety, and by related disturbances in behavior (APA, 2013). Although anxiety is universally experienced, anxiety disorders cause considerable distress. Social anxiety disorder is one of the type of anxiety disorders and a case report of an effective treatment of 36 years old female patient with social anxiety disorder since 7 months presented. Individualised homoeopathic management with lycopodium 1M was given following extensive case analysis, including both constitutional as well as physical symptoms. Gradual improvement was noticed clinically and based on LSAS score from 95% to 11% signifying complete improvement. Advances in healthcare monitoring have enabled the detection and management of CO exposure, aiding in early diagnosis and prevention of poisoning. This abstract examines the dual role of CO as both a health hazard and a potential biomarker for certain physiological processes, such as cellular signaling and inflammation. We discuss the challenges of integrating CO monitoring technologies in public health systems, including affordability, accessibility, and data accuracy, while also exploring the opportunities for leveraging these tools in early intervention strategies. A balanced approach is required to harness the benefits of CO monitoring while mitigating its inherent challenges, ensuring its effective application in public health frameworks

    A Mechanistic Approach to enhance the efficiency of endoxifen by conjugating with anticancer tripeptides: In-Silico and molecular dynamics studies.

    Background: Globally, women are concerned about their health due to breast cancer. Researchers are focusing onenhancing the quality of life for breast cancer patients, as of right now, there isn't a single treatment that can be usedto cure breast cancer permanently.Aims: This research aims to enhance the effectiveness of tamoxifen derivative through conjugation with anticancertripeptides, as ascertained through molecular docking studies.Methods: We conducted an in-silico study with NGR and RGD tripeptides conjugated with tamoxifen derivatives usingthe AutoDock tool.Results: The following significant binding energy interaction was observed with protein 3ERT like Endoxifen -7.2kcal/mol; Tamoxifen-7.8 kcal/mol; 4-Hydroxy tamoxifen -7.9 kcal/mol; N- desmethyl tamoxifen -7.9 kcal/mol; NGRtripeptide -6.8 kcal/mol; RGD tripeptide -5.4 kcal/mol; P1-9.8 kcal/mol; P2-10.0 kcal/mol; P3 -11.0 kcal/mol; P4 -10.9 kcal/mol; P5 -8.5 kcal/mol. Furthermore, the interaction and stability behavior of the RGD tripeptide conjugatedwith endoxifen and NGR tripeptide complexes were analyzed for a 100-nanosecond (ns) time. Calculated RMSD valuesobserved using molecular dynamics simulation (MDS) were found to be -0.3 nm respectively. RMSF calculation perresidues showed a value near 0.2nm to -0.4nm and -0.2nm to -0.3nm respectively. Rg values remained between -1.9nm to -1.95 nm. SASA analysis reveal the solvent behaviour of the complexes. The total number of hydrogen bonds wasmonitored during the simulation time and the results showed that around two hydrogen bonds were established withthe active site for the RGD tripeptides conjugated with endoxifen. The hydrogen bonds were observed with LEU 536and VAL534 residues and for NGR tripeptide conjugated with n-des methyl tamoxifen hydrogen bond observed withLEU 536 residues in the molecular docking.Conclusion: Thus, significant docking interaction and stable dynamicity of endoxifen conjugated with tripeptides hadthe best docking and dynamic results. The next phase involves synthesizing these tripeptides and conjugating themwith endoxifen for in-vitro cell line investigations

    THE ROLE OF NURSING IN THE EARLY DETECTION AND PREVENTION OF PREGNANCY-INDUCED HYPERTENSION AMONG PREGNANT MOTHER

    Introduction: Pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) is a maternal hypertension syndrome diagnosed during the later part of pregnancy, usually after the 20th week of gestation. PIH can lead to severe complications for both the mother and the fetus. Early identification and management of PIH is crucial to prevent adverse maternal and fetal outcomesAim: To assess awareness and risk Indicators for Early Detection of Pregnancy-Induced HypertensionMethods: This research employed a cross-sectional descriptive design, and the study was carried out at some selected Primary Health Centers (PHCs). The eligible participants for the study were pregnant women, with those who had other complications or those who did not give their consent being ineligible. The sample size was determined using the power analysis to be 60. The method used for selecting participants was based on convenient sampling method. This study received Ethical approval from the Institutional Ethical Committee of Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital (ECR/719/Inst/TN/2015/RR-21) and an informed written consent was also taken from all participants.Results: In terms of PIH risk indicators, 33.3% had raised systolic blood pressure (≥130 mmHg), 25% had raised diastolic blood pressure (≥90 mmHg), and 16.7% exhibited proteinuria. Common symptoms included rapid weight gain, swelling of hands/feet, and obesity (16.7%). A history of PIH or family hypertension was reported by 20%, while 13.3% had elevated fasting glucose levels (>92 mg/dL). Regarding awareness, 58.3% had heard of PIH, but only 50% knew its symptoms. While 66.7% understood the risks of high blood pressure and 75% monitored their blood pressure, fewer were aware of PIH risks (46.7%) or preventive lifestyle changes (43.3%). Most women recognized the importance of prenatal checkups (83.3%), but 40% were unaware that PIH could occur without prior hypertension. Additionally, 73.3% knew where to seek help for PIH symptoms.Conclusion: The study concluded that through regular antenatal care, risk factor assessment, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration, nurses can contribute to the reduction of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality associated with this condition
