    EFFECTIVENESS OF CRYOTHERAPY FOLLOWED BY MUSCLE ENERGY TECHNIQUE IN POST OPERATIVE KNEE STIFFNESS PATIENT

    Introduction: Post-Operative knee stiffness is a common condition after any specific knee surgery. In this condition there is stiffness of knee joint causes pain, reduced knee range of motion and its affect on quality of life of individual. There are various therapeutic options available for the condition like stretching exercise, isometric exercise, strengthening exercise. Another therapeutic option is cryotherapy which is effective to reduce pain, inflammation. Manual therapies like muscle energy technique help to restore joint range of motion. Methodology: Interventional study conducted on 30 post-operative knee stiffness patients, participants age ranged from 20-40 yrs with all genders included in this study. Conventional physiotherapy intervention applied on 15 participants that was group A, which include hot moist pack , isometric exercise, strengthening exercise, and stretching exercise and group B was recived conventional physiotherapy along with muscle energy technique followed by icing which was experimental group and 15 participants included in group B, all participants were evaluated by pre and post treatment by Visual analogue scale (VAS) to calculate pain intensity , Lower extremity functional scale (LEFS) to measure quality of life of individual, universal goniometer to measure range of motion of joint. Result: This study showed that, the post-treatment results showed significantly better outcomes in the group B. Pain levels (VAS) reduced to (4.2 ± 1.08) in group B compared to group A (5.39 ± 1.16) (p < 0.001). Functional improvement (LEFS) was greater in the group B (65.13 ± 7.76) than in the group A (41.2 ± 7.61, p < 0.001). Flexion range increased to (102.47° ± 12.38°) in group B than (77.67° ± 13.23°) in group A, and extension improved to (1.73° ± 1.10°) in group B than (3.67° ± 1.84°) in group A (p = 0.002). Conclusion: The study concludes that the experimental group receiving Muscle Energy Technique followed by icing showed significantly better outcomes than the conventional group. Pain levels were lower, functional ability improved, and range of motion increased in both flexion and extension. These results suggest the experimental approach is more effective for managing post-operative knee stiffness

With rapid urbanization and the decline of industrial and unused spaces, Tenali has several derelict areas that contribute to urban decay, environmental degradation, and a lack of community engagement. This study aims to identify these underutilized areas and propose their redevelopment into Green Urban landscapes, such as parks, community gardens, and recreational zones, to enhance the city's ecological footprint, social cohesion, and urban aesthetics. The research will involve a comprehensive analysis of existing derelict sites, green space design principles, community involvement strategies, and sustainable urban design approaches, ultimately providing a framework for transforming these spaces into vibrant, multi-functional urban landscapes

    Diplopods are common in temperate, tropical, and subtropical plantation environments, as well as further atmospheres. Millipedes (Diplopoda) form a diverse group of invertebrates, playing an important role in distributing soil ecosystem facilities, though often poorly known. They act as decomposers, conserving soil erosion and nutrient cycling, and are among the greatest vital foliage litter creatures. Sympathetic soil invertebrate groups, together with the habitually essential millipedes, are vital (David 2015). The present study aims to know the diversity of millipedes in the exact habitations of Satara tahsil and to study how seasonal and edaphic structures affect their diversity. The present paper emphasizes the influence of these structures on millipede-type diversity, which originates from field studies conducted at three selected sites. These work efforts are focused on recording various millipede species found in the different habitats of Satara's study area. The study took place over a year, starting from 2023-24 and continuing to the present, focusing on the study area region in Satara. Our results showed that there are four genera present in the region, namely Anoplodesmus, Gyrodrepanum, Trigoniulus, and Xenobolus. The importance of millipedes in soil plays a direct role in its fertility. We distinguish various millipedes as indicators of ecological situations. The presence of millipedes is correlated with the content of organic matter and nutrient elements in the soil.     The Biological Potential of Silver Nanoparticles Made from the Sargassum tenerrimum seaweed extract.

    Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have been extensively studied for their potential biological applications due to their unique physical and chemical properties. The Sargassum tenerrimum seaweed extract has been found to be a potential source for the synthesis of AgNPs. In this study, we have investigated the biological potential of AgNPs synthesized from Sargassum tenerrimum extract. Through dispersive X-ray analysis, Fourier Transformer Infrared Spectroscopy analysis, among other methods of research, these AgNPs have been shown to have strong antimicrobial activity against a variety of microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Additionally, they have been shown to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing properties.Research and observations thus showed the antibacterial activity of green synthesized AgNPs using Solanum torvum leaf extract. Observations have also indicated the presence of anti-cancer properties of silver nanoparticles

    Automatic Human Body Measurement Using Computer Vision & Media Pipe

    Accurate measurements of the human body are important in a variety of settings, including tailoring, fitness tracking, and healthcare. Conventional measurement approaches usually involve human intervention which can be slow, error-likely, and inconvenient. This project describes an approach to automate human body measurements using computer vision methods, the Media pipe framework and the body matrix framework. The system measures body dimensions using images as inputs, and uses Media pipe's pose estimation and tracking as a way to identify key landmarks on the human body. The landmarks are then used in conjunction with computer vision algorithms to accurately calculate the measurements of interest (height, waist circumference, arm length, etc.). The system is also designed to measure accurately using calibration techniques to account for scaling and posture of the person being measured. The system is easy to use, requiring minimal input from the user, and works with readily available mobile phones or other devices. This technology attempts to simplify the current options available in the tailoring and fashion environments by providing a cost-efficient, productive, and easy option to assess body measurements when compared with conventional structure. The project also investigates the possibilities for integration with augmented reality for real-time visualization of measurements and designs to improve usability. The system was to verify that it would perform robustly across different body types, lighting conditions, and environments. The results demonstrate the potential of combining Media pipe's real-time capabilities with some custom computer vision algorithms to create a scalable and practical solution to automated human body measurement

    Seroprevalence of Cytomegalovirus and Rubella among Women seeking Antenatal care and the implications of Socio-demographic, Obstetric and Clinical determinants

    Vertical transmission of maternal infections of Cytomegalovirus (CMV) and Rubella virus (RV) have serious fetal andneonatal outcomes. A cross sectional study was conducted with 471 pregnant women attending antenatal clinics inChennai city to determine the seroprevalence of CMV and RV and the contributing factors. Serum samples of thestudy population were screened for the IgM and IgG antiviral antibodies by ELISA. The seroprevalence of CMV and RV were 87% and 56% respectively. While the rate of past (IgG) and primary (IgM) infections were higher for RV, the CMV caused more active infections (IgM+IgG). Significant sociodemographic characteristics associated with CMV and RV infections were pregnancy in advanced age (OR=0.916, CI=0.712-1.861, P=0.028), low education level (OR=1.792, CI=1.212-2.996, P=0.039) and living in rural areas (OR=2.314, CI=1.492-3.237, P=0.028). The infection during first pregnancy (OR=0.827, CI=0.581-0.996, P=0.036), 1st trimester (OR=1.496, CI=0.998-1.853, P=0.015) and high rate of miscarriage (OR=2.958, CI=2.212-3.826, P=0.032) were the recorded obstetric risk factors. Clinical features significantly attributed to the infections were abnormal BMI (OR=0.861, CI=0.468-1.221, P=0.028), abnormal hemoglobin level (OR=0.862, CI=0.542-0.972, P=0.044) and history of jaundice (OR=0.383, CI=0.128-0.539, P=0.021). The study suggested the need for regular serological surveillance, vaccination and awareness education to prevent the infections caused by CMV and RV

This article provides a comprehensive review of the effects of outdoor education on cognitive development in preschool children, with a focus on key areas such as executive function, problem-solving skills, attention, creativity, and language acquisition. Drawing on interdisciplinary research from psychology, education, and environmental science, we explore the mechanisms through which nature-based learning environments enhance cognitive abilities. Attention Restoration Theory, the Biophilia Hypothesis, and Embodied Cognition provide a theoretical foundation for understanding how outdoor experiences foster brain development and learning. Empirical evidence suggests that regular engagement with natural environments improves executive function, boosts creativity, enhances focus, and supports language development. Furthermore, outdoor education promotes holistic growth by reducing stress, encouraging physical activity, and fostering social interaction. This article also discusses practical implications for educators and policymakers, emphasizing the need to integrate outdoor learning into early childhood curricula, increase access to natural spaces, and provide professional development for teachers. By synthesizing current research, this review underscores the critical role of outdoor education in nurturing the cognitive and developmental potential of preschool children, offering a compelling case for its widespread adoption in early childhood education systems
