A STUDY TO ASSESS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF STRUCTURED TEACHING PROGRAMME ON BEHAVIOURAL DISORDER AND ITS MANAGEMENT AMONG PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN THRUVIRKADU, CHENNAI
Background: Behavioral disorders in school children represent a significant concern for educators, parents, and mental health professionals, as these disorders can profoundly affect a child's learning, social interactions, and overall development. The study aimed to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on behavioural disorder and its management among primary school teachers in Thruvirkadu, Chennai.Methodology: This study utilized an experimental one-group pretest-posttest design to evaluate the effectiveness of a structured teaching program on the knowledge of primary school teachers regarding behavioral disorders and their management. A quasi-experimental approach was adopted to measure the change in knowledge levels before and after the intervention. The study was conducted in a primary school in Thiruverkadu, Chennai, where the structured teaching program was implemented over a specified period. The setting allowed for direct interaction with teachers and easy administration of the program. The study involved a total of 30 primary school teachers who were selected using a convenience sampling technique.Results: The study found that during the pretest, all 30 (100%) teachers demonstrated inadequate knowledge regarding behavioral disorders and their management. After the structured teaching program, all 30 teachers (100%) showed adequate knowledge in the posttest, indicating a significant improvement. The mean pretest knowledge score was 5.13 (SD = 1.33), while the mean posttest knowledge score increased to 14.83 (SD = 1.05), with a difference of 9.70. The calculated t-value was 31.35, which was much higher than the expected t-value of 2.064, and the p-value was less than 0.05, confirming that the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion: The study highlighted that the intervention had a positive impact on children's health metrics, with significant reductions in BMI, waist circumference, and body fat percentage
PHARMACEUTICAL INNOVATIONS: AN OVERVIEW OF NIGELLA SATIVA ESSENTIAL OIL IN ORAL HEALTH MANAGEMENT
Periodontal infections, such as gingivitis and periodontitis, are serious threats to oral health, frequently resulting in tooth loss if left untreated. These disorders are distinguished by inflammation, bacterial colonization, and tissue breakdown within the periodontium. Traditional therapies frequently use antibacterial drugs and scale processes, but new study investigates the possibilities of natural remedies, such as Nigella sativa (N. sativa), in controlling these disorders. Furthermore, N. sativa contains antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which are important in reducing oxidative stress and inflammatory reactions associated with periodontal disorders. Furthermore, its antibacterial and antifungal characteristics make it a good candidate for treating oral infections. Finally, N. sativa emerges as a promising supplementary therapy for periodontal disease management, providing a natural and potentially beneficial alternative to conventional treatments. However, additional research, particularly clinical trials, is required to confirm its efficacy and safety in clinical practice. N. sativa, often known as black cumin, has a long history of therapeutic usage because to its several pharmacological qualities, which include anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antibacterial activities. Studies have yielded positive effects in terms of increasing gingival health and managing periodontal disorders. N. sativa extracts have shown antibacterial activity against common periodontal infections and have been investigated as local drug delivery agents in periodontal therapy. N. sativa essential oil, rich in medicinal chemicals like thymoquinone and carvacrol, was extracted through hydro-distillation and supercritical fluid extraction, and its chemical content was determined using analytical techniques. Furthermore, N. sativa has shown antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities, which are crucial in mitigating the oxidative stress and inflammatory responses associated with periodontal diseases. Additionally, its antibacterial and antifungal properties make it a promising candidate for combating oral pathogens. In conclusion, N. sativa emerges as a potential adjunctive therapy for managing periodontal diseases, offering a natural and potentially effective alternative to conventional treatments. However, further research, particularly clinical trials, is warranted to validate its efficacy and safety in clinical practice
Empirical Evaluation on Medical Image Processing in Recent Trends and Methodologies

In order to assist medical professionals, a lot of research is being done on automated systems that can analyze photos and diagnose acute illnesses like brain tumors, bone cancer, breast cancer, bone fractures, and numerous others. This methodical investigation provides an outline of contemporary expansions in deep neural network-based medicinal imaging. Scrupulous literature analysis is followed by an overview of widely reachable information resources and recommendations for further research. Computers and other imaging technologies have successfully improved medical imaging diagnostic processes. Different medical images help with early diagnosis, describing and differentiating various health issues, which results in effective healthcare services and treatments. Medical diagnosis can be greatly aided by digital image processing and analysis, which offer the instruments required for mechanical exposure, important data extraction, and precise dimension of visual abnormality. Medical photos, however, present a number of difficulties, as do those that come up throughout the several phases of image processing. Predictive Implications of Dynamic Factors on Investors Decision in Indian Derivatives Market: An Empirical Study
Since the Indian derivative market is growing rapidly and participation in retail increases, the study investigates factors that affect investment decisions of retail investors. Despite market growth, investor behaviours is understood, especially in emerging economies. This study examines risk tolerance, financial literacy, market dynamics, regulatory environment and how technology/access affects investment decisions to fill this difference. The study uses a quantitative explanation-induced design, with a structured questionnaire distributed to 129 retail investors. We used convenience sampling and online recruitment to increase demographic diversity. Data analysis used descriptive and subordinate figures such as Piercen's correlation and several linear regressions to determine variable conditions. The results suggest that technology/access (β = 0.250, p = 0.002) and economic literacy (β = 0.207, p = 0.014) are the leading prophecies for investment decisions. Regulatory Environment (β = 0.184, p = 0.028) and risk tolerance (β = 0.161, p = 0.049) Make considerable impact.. The model has a strong fit, explaining 76.2% of investment decision variance (Adj. R² = 0.752, F = 77.917, p < 0.001). Conclusions emphasize the requirement for integrated guidelines to improve financial literacy, technical access, and regulatory framework. The results point to integrated policies needed to improve regulatory systems, tech access, and financial education. The findings highlight the need of comprehensive policies meant to improve regulatory systems, technology accessibility, and financial literacy
STUDY ON SPECIES DIVERSITY OF BRACHIONUS (ROTIFERA) CONCERN WITH BARAI POND AT BRAHMAPURI, DIST: CHANDRAPUR
Throughout the time of an ample faunistic survey of the lentic ecosystem at Brahmapuri. A total of 15 species are recorded from the Barai pond which is 100 years old. The Purpose of present study is to pay attention towards physiological condition of Rotifers for biomonitering the environmental status of aquatic ecosystem. In the Present Study, Taxonomic notes with a key for their identification are appended and their role as an indicator of pollution is discussed.
 
HPLC ANALYSIS OF LEAF PROTEIN CONCENTRATE OF BRASSICA OLERACEA VAR. BOTRYTIS
Protein is a crucial component of a balanced diet, fundamental to maintaining human health. While protein can be obtained fromplant and animal sources, underutilized agricultural by-products provide an alternative sustainable protein source. Brassicaoleracea var. botrytis (cauliflower) is a widely consumed vegetable in India, yet its leaves, which are rich in essential nutrients,are often discarded as waste. This study explores the extraction of protein from cauliflower leaves using the Leaf ProteinConcentrate (LPC) method, followed by amino acid analysis via High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The HPLCresults identified 21 amino acids, including essential amino acids such as lysine (0.28%), threonine (0.23%), and methionine(0.15%), along with significant amounts of glutamic acid (1.54%). These findings highlight the potential of cauliflower leaf proteinas a sustainable and nutritious dietary supplement, offering a viable strategy for reducing food waste and addressing nutritionaldeficiencies
A NOTE ON EXTENDED DISTRIBUTION RECORDS OF RADIOSPONGILLA CEREBELLATA (BOWERBANK, 1863) AND CORVOSPONGILLA ULTIMA (ANNANDALE, 1910) IN MAHARASHTRA, INDIA
The study provides the records of extended distribution and taxonomic identification of freshwater sponges collected in Ahilyanagar (Formerly Ahmednagar) and the Pune district of Maharashtra, India. The sponge samples were collected and identified using the colony morphology and structural features of spicules and gemmules observed using Light Microscopy and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The identified sponge samples are Radiospongilla cerebellata (Bowerbank,1863) and Corvospongilla ultima (Annandale,1910). We provide descriptive notes on their colony morphology and SEM images of gemmules, gemmuloscleres, and spicules. There is a need for further research to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of freshwater sponge taxonomy
FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF HERBAL OINTMENT CONTAINING TINOSPORA CORDIFOLIA & PSIDIUM GUAJAVA AGAINST STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS BACTERIA
The present study aimed to develop and evaluate a herbal ointment containing Tinospora cordifolia and Psidium Guajava against Staphylococcus aureus. The ointment was formulated using a combination of the two plant extracts, which have been reported to possess antibacterial properties. The antibacterial activity of the ointment was evaluated using three different formulations, with Mupirocin as the standard drug. The results showed that the herbal ointment exhibited significant antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, with the most effective concentration showing a zone of inhibition of 19 mm. The study demonstrates the potential of Tinospora cordifolia and Psidium Guajava as natural antibacterial agents, and highlights the potential of the developed ointment as an alternative to conventional antibiotics
Enhancing Gastric Retention: A Novel Gastroretentive Drug Delivery System Utilizing Punica granatum and Jackfruit Seed as Polymer
Oral drug delivery is widely preferred for its ease of use, affordability, and patient compliance. However, challenges like enzymatic degradation, gastric pH variations, and inconsistent gastrointestinal transit can hinder drug absorption. Gastroretentive drug delivery systems (GRDDS), particularly floating drug delivery systems (FDDS), help overcome these issues by prolonging gastric retention and enabling controlled drug release.With the growing interest in phytopharmaceuticals, research has expanded into natural bioactive compounds. Pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) offers antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory benefits due to its polyphenol content. Jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam.) seeds contain bioactive compounds with anticancer, antihypertensive, and antiulcer properties, while also serving as a natural binder in formulations. This study explores the incorporation of pomegranate and jackfruit seed extracts into GRDDS, aiming to enhance drug bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy, contributing to the development of herbal-based pharmaceutical innovations.

Analysis of Morphological, Physiological and Biochemical traits for grain quality and yield in Basmati rice accesions
The knowledge of the extent and pattern of diversity in the crop species is a prerequisite for any crop improvement as it helps breeders in deciding suitable breeding strategies for their future improvement. Rice is the most important staple food crop among the cereals and feeds more than half of the world’s population. The wide variety of rice grains, each with its distinct characteristics whether it is size, texture or color ensures that the rice continues to hold a significant place in diverse culinary traditions. As population grows and culinary traditions, rice will remain a wide food source with diverse taste. Therefore, the present study was undertaken with the aim to characterize and assess trends of diversity in a large set of Indian rice genotypes. Fifty germplasm of rice were taken in the experiment which belongs to basmati group. The Basmati rice genotype was collect from ACRIP-Rice, Nagina Research Centre Bijnor U.P. The analysis of 50 rice genotypes reveals that Basmati 5836-E, Basmati 5874-B, and Basmati 5836-C, Basmati 5874-A excel in morphological parameters highlighting the diverse strengths of these genotypes in rice cultivation. Basmati 372-A-E, Basmati 372-A-F, and Basmati 372-A-G, Basmati-375-F excelled in biochemical parameters Basmati-5875-E had the highest chlorophyll content, showcasing the superior performance of specific Basmati genotypes in key agricultural parameters. Diversity is prerequisite for any crop improvement program as it helps in the development of superior recombinants. Diversity offers a range of selections to breeders that may produce superior rice varieties and contribute to targeted crop improvement. The present study aimed to assess the diversity of aromatic rice genotypes and the obtained knowledge which could be utilized further in breeding programme for crop improvement. It will be important in the future of plant breeding as it helps develop crops that can adapt to climate change, agronomical traits, higher yield, speed flower over different aspects and meet food demand with sustainable agriculture
