Prospettive di progettazione inclusiva. Costruire contesti accessibili e sostenibili tra scuola ed extra-scuola
Out of focus. Ritratti di donne con disabilità attraverso l’obiettivo narrativo
The storytelling represents a pedagogical device of undeniable potential in promoting paths of emancipation and self‐determination of people with disabilities. It can draw on a wealth of functional languages for educational and social in‐clusion. The excursus through the progressive interest of art and photography towards the gender‐disability issue, willoffer elements for reflection to understand how the pictures can weave intersectional storytelling capable of enhancingthe plurality of beauty and female identities. The article intends to deepen the representation of women with disabilitiesthrough photography, as a tool for cultural awareness and at the same time a path to emancipate women and transformgender stereotypes. In particular, the photographic project "I'm a woman no more and no less ”which embodies an in‐tersectional and innovative look at the issue, will be analyzed. Finally, future perspectives and possible approaches towardswhich to project the photographic narration of women with disabilities will be outlined
A review of the literature on innovation in the agrofood industry: sustainability, smartness and health
Purpose: Following the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, the main challenge for the agrofood sector is to innovate food production, offering sustainable, smart and safe solutions. The future of food production will be oriented more and more towards sustainable industries with high technological content to guarantee food safety and food security. It implies that a change not only in the way food is conceived, but also in the way it is produced, processed and consumed is needed. The aim of the present study is to investigate the role of innovation, sustainability, smartness and health within the agrofood industry. Design/methodology/approach: A literature review was conducted using 596 academic documents written in English language and published in peer-reviewed scientific journals as well as in conference proceedings. The relevant articles were analyzed using both a bibliometric and a systematic approach. Findings: The results confirm the role of innovation and sustainability as key drivers in the food industry. The main findings concern the benefits deriving from the adoption of digital technologies, the ever-increasing involvement of consumers in health and environmental issues and the introduction of the open innovation concept in the agrofood industry. Originality/value: This study jointly considers the dimensions of innovation, sustainability, smartness and health in the agrofood sector, demonstrating how they are strongly interdependent
A methodology for the identification of physical parameters of soil-foundation-bridge pier systems from identified state-space models
A methodology for the identification of the physical parameters of a model describing the transverse dynamics of soil-foundation-pier systems founded on piles is presented in this paper, starting from identified state-space models of the systems obtained from results of dynamic experimental tests and identification techniques available in the literature. By assuming the order of the model to be compliant with that of a numerical one suitably developed to capture the dynamics of the bridge pier, the procedure allows the identification of the stiffness, mass and damping matrices of the analytical model from which the physical parameters of the real system (e.g. masses, pier stiffness matrix and soil-foundation impedance) can be extracted by directly comparing the components of the identified and analytical matrices. The procedure allows the direct definition of the numerical model that best fits the experimental data without the need of any model calibration, and permits the identification of the soil-foundation compliance taking into account its intrinsic frequency-dependent behaviour. Firstly, the dynamics of the analytical model is formulated adopting the continuous-time first-order state-space form. The model includes the frequency-dependent behaviour of the soil-foundation system through the introduction of a lumped parameter model able to reproduce the typical soil-foundation impedances of pile foundations. Then, an identification strategy of the physical parameters of a generic realistic soil-foundation-pier system is proposed starting from the discrete-time state-space model identified from dynamic tests. The procedure is illustrated with some applications, simulating results of forced vibration and ambient vibration tests executed on a known system whose parameters are then identified according to the proposed approach. The procedure revealed to be effective to identify the stiffness, mass and damping matrixes of the known system, and consequently its physical parameters

“Anna Magnani e il ‘vaginismo isterico'. Divismo, melodramma e sessualità nel caso della nullità di matrimonio da Goffredo Alessandrini”,
In 1952, actress Anna Magnani’s marriage was annulled by the court of the Republic of San Marino, on the basis of impotentia coeundi, which meant she was diagnosed with hysterical impotence. Anna Magnani’s postwar star persona was firmly associated with the neorealist iconography of the popolana and the heroic mother of the Resistance. However, San Marino court papers present a different off-screen performance: that of the hysteric, drawing on melodramatic excess. Based on the cited archival papers, my article reconstructs the circumstances of the marriage annulment by Magnani and Alessandrini, contextualizing it within the history of Italian stardom, and exploring the link between performance, hysteria, and female sexuality in Italy of the 1950s. My aim is to question whether and how Anna Magnani’s stardom – constructed on characters of neorealist authenticity from the post-war period onwards and often read through verbal and iconic codes that emphasized her spontaneity and instinctiveness – influenced the alleged motivations supporting this annulment case, while considering the strong performative, theatrical and melodramatic component underlying the historical representations of female hysteri
