Eficacia del uso de misoprostol en la inducción del parto en gestantes atendidas en el Hospital del Norte de Guayaquil IESS Los Ceibos en el periodo octubre 2024 – mayo 2025.
Misoprostol has established itself as a highly effective drug for labor induction, standing out for its low cost and accessibility, making it a preferred option, especially in developing countries. At the Hospital del Norte de Guayaquil IESS Los Ceibos, a considerable increase in its use among pregnant women has been observed during the period from October 2024 to May 2025, with a particular focus on its impact on vaginal delivery rates and the duration of the induction process. To this end, a detailed analysis of medical records will be carried out, in order to identify factors that may influence the effectiveness of the treatment, such as the Bishop Index and gestational age. En el Hospital del Norte de Guayaquil IESS Los Ceibos, se ha observado un incremento considerable en su uso entre las gestantes durante el período de octubre de 2024 a mayo de 2025, con un enfoque particular en su impacto sobre las tasas de partos vaginales y la duración del proceso de inducción. Para ello, se realizará un análisis detallado de las historias clínicas, con el fin de identificar factores que puedan influir en la eficacia del tratamiento, tales como el índice de Bishop y la edad gestacional. Los resultados de esta investigación no solo buscarán mejorar los protocolos de inducción en el hospital, sino que también tendrán repercusiones más amplias en la práctica obstétrica a nivel nacional e internacional, contribuyendo a optimizar los resultados en salud materno-infantil
El nivel de conectividad y su influencia en los resultados de aprendizaje en los niños del Recinto El Cuatro, Parroquia La Unión, Babahoyo
The objective was to determine how the level of connectivity influences the learning outcomes of children in the El Cuatro campus in the La Unión parish, Babahoyo. The type of research was descriptive explanatory, with a mixed approach. It is not intended to replace quantitative research or qualitative research, but to use the strengths of both types, combining them and trying to minimize their potential weaknesses. For this research, 40 teachers from public and private educational institutions that will participate in this study belonging to the El Cuatro campus in the La Unión parish are considered as the study population. The results show that the coverage of their Internet service is not allowing them to have good connectivity for the development of their educational activities, the technological platforms are not easily adaptable for the academic development that is had with the students, the capacity for analysis as an intellectual skill is not evidencing the learning results of the students and finally the reading comprehension that their students are showing does not ensure a pertinent learning result. It is concluded that the way in which the variables Connectivity Level and Learning Outcomes are related is significantly positive, the correlation obtained was Rho = 0.874, which establishes a high relationship between the variables and that the learning outcomes in children are explained in 76.39% by the adequate use of a level of internet connectivity.The objective was to determine how the level of connectivity influences the learning outcomes of children in the El Cuatro campus in the La Unión parish, Babahoyo. El tipo de investigación fue descriptivo explicativo, con un enfoque mixto no es reemplazar a la investigación cuantitativa ni a la investigación cualitativa, sino utilizar las fortalezas de ambos tipos, combinándolas y tratando de minimizar sus debilidades potenciales. Para la presente investigación se considera como población de estudio a 40 docentes de las instituciones educativas públicas y privadas que participarán en este estudio pertenecientes al recinto El Cuatro de la parroquia La Unión. Los resultados muestran que la cobertura de su servicio de Internet no les está permitiendo tener una buena conectividad para el desarrollo de sus actividades educativas, las plataformas tecnológicas no están siendo de fácil adaptabilidad para el desarrollo académico que se tiene con los estudiantes, la capacidad de análisis como habilidad intelectual no está evidenciando los resultados de aprendizajes de los estudiantes y finalmente la comprensión lectora que están mostrando sus estudiantes no aseguran un pertinente resultado de aprendizaje. Se concluye que la forma en que se relacionan las variables Nivel de Conectividad y Resultados de Aprendizaje es significativamente positiva, la correlación obtenida fue de Rho = 0,874 lo que establece una alta relación entre las variables y que los resultados de aprendizaje en los niños se explican en un explicado en un 76,39 % por el uso adecuado de un nivel de conectividad a internet. Estudio del comportamiento del turista millenial y su influencia en las tendencias turísticas en la ciudad de Guayaquil
This study skees to understand how Young travelers influence trends in Guayaquil they like real, ecological experiences full of technology, a great opportunity to promote local Development. We use mixed methods: numbers (quantitative) and stories (qualitative). We surveyed 50 people, including millennial travelers and locals related to the sector.
The results say that although Guayaquil has the potential to attract them, it must improve its digital and internet technology and also promote itself better online.

Usamos métodos mixtos: números (cuantitativos) e historias (cualitativos). Hicimos encuestas a 50 personas entre viajeros millennial y locales relacionados con el sector.
Los resultados dicen que aunque Guayaquil tiene potencial para captarlos, debe mejorar su tecnología digital e internet y también promocionarse mejor online.

Nuevas propuestas para el servicio de alojamiento en los entornos rurales de la Provincia de Los Ríos
The report presents a study aimed at optimizing rural accommodation services in the Province of Los Ríos, Ecuador. Its main purpose is to identify current trends in accommodation services, considering the needs of tourists, to provide innovative accommodation alternatives in rural environments, in the Province of Los Ríos.
The analysis reveals opportunities to integrate global trends such as boutique hotels, which offer personalized and high-quality experiences, and sustainable tourism, which prioritizes environmental and social preservation. At the national level, projects such as glamping and rural tourism stand out, which have proven to be successful initiatives, allowing tourists to experience luxury, contact with nature, cultural interaction and conservation of local customs.
Despite the Province's tourism potential, researchers highlight important challenges, such as the lack of adequate infrastructure, the absence of training in administration and hospitality, and restricted promotion tactics, which limit the development of this activity.
The research suggests involving concrete actions such as diversifying accommodation services, adopting technology for online reservations, training in sustainability and hospitality, and creating authentic experiences that integrate the cultural and natural wealth of the region. In addition, digital marketing strategies are proposed to attract new tourist segments and alliances between tour operators and local communities to maximize benefits. Su principal finalidad es identificar las tendencias actuales en los servicios de alojamiento, considerando las necesidades de los turistas, para brindar alternativas innovadoras de alojamiento en entornos rurales, en la Provincia de Los Ríos.
El análisis revela oportunidades para integrar tendencias globales como los hoteles boutique, que ofrecen experiencias personalizadas y de alta calidad, y el turismo sustentable, que prioriza la preservación ambiental y social. A nivel nacional, destacan proyectos como el glamping y el turismo rural, que han demostrado ser iniciativas exitosas, permitiendo a los turistas experimentar lujo, contacto con la naturaleza, interacción cultural y conservación de las costumbres locales.
A pesar del potencial turístico de la Provincia, los investigadores destacan importantes desafíos, como la falta de infraestructura adecuada, la ausencia de formación en administración y hostelería, y tácticas de promoción restringidas, que limitan el desarrollo de esta actividad.
La investigación sugiere implicar acciones concretas como la diversificación de servicios de alojamiento, la adopción de tecnología para reservas en línea, la capacitación en sostenibilidad y hospitalidad, y la creación de experiencias auténticas que integren la riqueza cultural y natural de la región. Valoración del Estado nutricional y consumo alimentario en niños de la Unidad educativa Juan León Mera, Montalvo- Los Ríos, periodo octubre 2024 – mayo 2025.
The research presented was conducted at the Juan León Mera Elementary School. The general objective was to determine the relationship between food consumption and the assessment of nutritional status in schoolchildren aged 7 to 11 years in the city of Montalvo from October 2024 to May 2025. The study used a total population of 100 students, taking into account certain inclusion and exclusion criteria. The study design was descriptive and cross-sectional, utilizing techniques such as observation, surveys, and anthropometric assessment of the students. The research results were as follows: Most students consume processed foods over natural and/or home-prepared foods. However, teaching and learning processes are needed for parents, teachers, and the rest of the educational community to improve the identified aspects and achieve better nutritional status.The research presented was conducted at the Juan León Mera Elementary School. El diseño del estudio fue de tipo descriptivo de corte transversal en donde se utilizaron técnicas como la observación, encuesta y la evaluación antropométrica de los estudiantes. Los resultados de la investigación fueron los siguientes: La mayoría de los estudiantes consumen alimentos procesados por encima de los naturales y/o preparados en casa. The objective of this research work is to propose the use of Trello to strengthen the learning of the students of the technical baccalaureate in computer science of the Eugenio Espejo Educational Unit, during the academic period October 2024 - March 2025. It seeks to determine how Trello, a project management platform, can strengthen competencies such as communication, organization, collective responsibility and teamwork in a technical educational context. The research employs a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative) to collect data through student surveys, combining descriptive, explanatory and applied methodologies.
The research project is structured in four chapters that address the introduction, theoretical framework, methodology and a timeline with budget. International and national background on the use of digital platforms such as Trello in education is highlighted, emphasizing its positive impact on collaboration, motivation and academic performance. Likewise, the characteristics, benefits and challenges of Trello are described, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of collaborative learning. It is hypothesized that the use of Trello will contribute significantly to students' collaborative learning.
This research includes an experimental and propositional design, with a sample of 80 students of first, second and third year of technical high school. The main instruments are digital surveys and bibliographic consultations. The results will be analyzed using tools such as Google Forms and Excel, and it is expected that the use of Trello will foster critical, reflective and collaborative skills. La investigación emplea un enfoque mixto (cualitativo y cuantitativo) para recolectar datos mediante encuestas a estudiantes, combinando metodologías descriptivas, explicativas y aplicadas.
El proyecto de investigación está estructurado en cuatro capítulos que abordan la introducción, el marco teórico, la metodología y un cronograma con presupuesto. Se destacan antecedentes internacionales y nacionales sobre el uso de plataformas digitales como Trello en educación, enfatizando su impacto positivo en la colaboración, motivación y rendimiento académico. Asimismo, se describen las características, beneficios y desafíos de Trello, así como las ventajas y desventajas del aprendizaje colaborativo. Se plantea como hipótesis que el uso de Trello contribuirá significativamente al aprendizaje colaborativo de los estudiantes.
Esta investigación incluye un diseño experimental y propositivo, con una muestra de 80 estudiantes de primero, segundo y tercer año de bachillerato técnico. This research work focuses on Gitmind and its impact on the learning of students of the technical baccalaureate in computer science at the Eugenio Espejo Educational Unit during the academic period from October 2024 to March 2025. The main objective is to analyze how Gitmind contributes to learning, using a mixed methodology that combines quantitative and qualitative research. A survey was applied to students to collect data about their experience with the platform, allowing an evaluation both at the local level.
The research highlights that Gitmind, as a visual and collaborative tool, can improve student motivation and academic performance. Problems such as lack of interest and low grades were identified, which traditional methodologies fail to adequately address. Gitmind allows students to organize ideas and collaborate in real time, facilitating active learning and understanding of complex concepts.
The results indicate that a high percentage of students consider that Gitmind favors their educational process. It is concluded that this platform not only improves information retention, but also fosters critical skills such as critical thinking and problem solving, essential in your technical training. Se aplicó una encuesta a los estudiantes para recopilar datos sobre su experiencia con la plataforma, permitiendo una evaluación tanto a nivel local.
La investigación destaca que Gitmind, como herramienta visual y colaborativa, puede mejorar la motivación y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes. Se identificaron problemas como la falta de interés y bajas calificaciones, que las metodologías tradicionales no logran abordar adecuadamente. Música y su influencia en el desarrollo del lenguaje oral en niños de Educación Inicial II
This research dealt with music and its influence on the development of oral language in children of Initial II of the Francisco Piana Ratto Basic Education School, Babahoyo- Los Ríos. Where a certain group of children was evidenced who presented problems in oral language fluency, which generates a delay in the child's learning; The general objective of this research work is to determine how music can be used in the development of oral language in children attending Initial II at the aforementioned institution. The methodology used the qualitative approach, field and documentary research; As a technique, the interview was incorporated, the observation sheet, and it also has a non-probabilistic sampling. This research work is aimed at teachers, children and parents, with the purpose of benefiting their verbal fluency, increasing their vocabulary, communicative and social skills, meaningful learning, among others. The results showed that teachers incorporate music to promote oral language, thus achieving that children obtain better verbal fluency, among others, as a result of repetitive repetitions of sound and melody. Donde se evidencio un cierto grupo de niños que presentaba problemática en fluidez del lenguaje oral, aquello que genera un retraso en el aprendizaje del niño; el objetivo general de este trabajo investigativo es determinar como la música puede utilizarse en el desarrollo del lenguaje oral de los niños que cursan el Inicial II la institución antes mencionada. En la metodología se usó el enfoque cualitativo, la investigación de campo y documental; como técnica incorporó la entrevista, la ficha de observación, posee también un muestreo no probabilístico. Esté trabajo investigativo está destinado a los docentes, niños y padres de familias, con el propósito de beneficiar su fluidez verbal, aumentar e su vocabulario, habilidades comunicativas y sociales, aprendizaje significativo, entre otras. Inclusión educativa y su incidencia en la lectoescritura en los niños de Educación Inicial
The present research entitled "Educational inclusion and its impact on reading and writing in children in early childhood education II. Las docentes no están aplicando estrategias didácticas basadas en el material de reciclaje como el cartón, botellas, fundas, tapas, lo que limitan el desarrollo de habilidades esenciales de los niños como la atención, la concentración, la memoria y la resolución de problemas que son aspectos claves para un buen desempeño académico y cognitivo, por eso esta investigación tiene como objetivo principal entender cómo la utilización de estos materiales pueden fomentar habilidades como la concentración, creatividad, atención, memoria y resolución de problemas. Se utilizó la metodología en donde se opta por el diseño no experimental, seguida del enfoque cualitativo los fenómenos son estudiados tal y como ocurren en su contexto natural, como técnica de recolección de datos se aplicó una la entrevista y la observación, al igual que se utilizó instrumentos como el cuestionario de preguntas y la ficha de observación. Como resultado es que los materiales de reciclaje son de gran importancia ya que estimulan el desarrollo cognitivo y creativo del infante, los resultados contribuyen al gran interés y motivación de los educandos, favoreciendo el aprendizaje a través de actividades recreativas y lúdicas.
