Estrategias pedagógicas y su influencia en desarrollo de la motricidad gruesa en niños de Educación Inicial II
Comprehensive development in children of Educación Inicial II is essential for their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Gross motor skills, including running, jumping, climbing, and balancing, are crucial for fostering independence and body control. However, at Escuela de Educación Básica José Ingenieros, located in Cantón Baba, Los Ríos Province, deficiencies in pedagogical strategies aimed at developing these skills were identified. Data collection was conducted through interviews and observations using a qualitative approach and a non-experimental design. The study involved children from Educación Inicial II and their teachers, with a purposive sample of 33 students and two teachers participating in interviews and direct observations. The expected outcomes include identifying effective teaching strategies and diagnosing key challenges faced by educators. The potential conclusions suggest that enhancing gross motor skills positively impacts not only a child's physical development but also other developmental domains. Las habilidades motoras gruesas, incluidas habilidades como correr, saltar, trepar y mantener el equilibrio, son importantes para desarrollar la independencia y el control del cuerpo. Sin embargo, en la Escuela de Educación Básica José Ingenieros, del cantón Baba, provincia de los Ríos, se identificaron deficiencias en las estrategias pedagógicas dirigidas al desarrollo de estas habilidades en niños de Educación Inicial II. Los datos se recopilaron a través de entrevistas y observaciones utilizando un enfoque cualitativo y un diseño no experimental. En el estudio participaron niños de Educación Inicial II de la Escuela de Educación Básica José Ingenieros y sus profesores. La muestra fue seleccionada intencionalmente e incluyó a 35 estudiantes y 2 docentes que participaron en entrevistas, y observaciones directas. Los posibles resultados incluyen identificar estrategias de enseñanza efectivas y diagnosticar los desafíos clave que enfrentan los docentes. Las posibles conclusiones indican que mejorar las habilidades motoras gruesas tiene un impacto positivo no solo en el desarrollo físico de un niño sino también en otras áreas del desarrollo infantil y el uso de los recursos disponibles, así como métodos innovadores que pueden mejorar significativamente la salud de los estudiantes
Proceso atención de enfermería en paciente de 47 años con absceso intestinal.
The present clinical case study is applied to a 47-year-old male patient with a surgical history of appendectomy 1 week ago who was admitted to the emergency area due to a clinical picture of ±48 hours of evolution characterized by abdominal pain of great intensity VAS 7/10, hyperthermia, nausea, emesis, hyporexia, general malaise and purulent and fetid discharge at the level of the post-surgical wound. When taking vital signs, alterations in blood pressure (135/79 mmHg) and temperature (38.4 ° C) were evident. In the physical evaluation, a soft, depressed abdomen was found, painful to palpation with an abscess at the level of the post-surgical wound plus abundant discharge of purulent fluid from the appendectomy performed one week ago. A peripheral vein was placed and broad-spectrum antibiotics, antipyretics and analgesics were administered under medical prescription. Complete blood count and abdominal ultrasound were performed. Patient is hospitalized in the internal medicine area due to his infected surgical wound (appendectomy) and diagnosis of intestinal abscess (surgical history). A la toma de signos vitales se evidencia alteración en la presión arterial (135/79mmhg) y temperatura (38,4°C). En la valoración física se comprueba abdomen blando, depresivo, doloroso a la palpación con absceso a nivel de herida postquirúrgica más eliminación abundante de líquido purulento de apendicectomía realizada hace una semana atrás. Se canaliza vía periférica y se administra antibióticos de amplio espectro, antipiréticos y analgésicos, bajo prescripción médica. Se realiza hemograma completo y ecografía abdominal. Paciente queda hospitalizado en el área de medicina interna debido a su herida quirúrgica infectada (apendicectomía) y diagnóstico de absceso intestinal (antecedentes quirúrgicos). Donde se le aplicará el Proceso Atención de Enfermería utilizando como herramienta de apoyo las taxonomías Nanda, Noc y Nic, con la finalidad de brindarle los cuidados de enfermería acorde a su diagnóstico
Circuitos lúdicos para el desarrollo de la psicomotricidad de niños de 4 años
Psychomotor development in 4-year-old children is important for their comprehensive development, as it encompasses motor, cognitive, and social skills. At the Juan E. Verdesoto Elementary School in Babahoyo, low psychomotor development was identified in children in sublevel II, evidenced by difficulties in carrying out activities such as running, jumping, maintaining balance, and manipulating small objects. These limitations affect their ability to fully participate in group activities, hinder their socialization, and generate frustration at not being able to perform tasks appropriate for their age. The research aimed to analyze the influence of play circuits on the development of psychomotor skills in 4-year-old children during the 2024-2025 school year. The methodology used was descriptive, with a non-experimental design and a qualitative approach, using techniques such as observations of 4-year-old children, interviews with the teacher and surveys with parents, with which the play circuits and their components and the psychomotor skills and deficiencies of the children were analyzed in detail, obtaining as a result the identification of the teacher's class dynamics and the level of psychomotor development of the children. It was concluded that the use of play circuits in the class contributes significantly to the psychomotor development of 4-year-old children at the Juan E. Estas limitaciones afectan su capacidad para participar plenamente en actividades grupales, dificultan su socialización y generan frustración al no poder realizar tareas propias de su edad. La investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la influencia de los circuitos lúdicos en el desarrollo de la psicomotricidad de niños de 4 años durante el periodo lectivo 2024-2025. La metodología empleada fue de tipo descriptivo, con diseño no experimental y enfoque cualitativo, utilizando técnicas como observaciones a los niños de 4 años, entrevistas a la docente y encuestas a los padres de familia con lo cual se analizaron detalladamente los circuitos lúdicos y sus componentes y las habilidades y deficiencias psicomotrices de los niños obteniendo como resultado la identificación de las dinámicas de clase de la docente y el nivel de desarrollo psicomotriz de los niños, se concluyó que la utilización de circuitos lúdicos en la clase contribuye notablemente al desarrollo psicomotor de los niños de 4 años de la Escuela de Educación Básica Juan E. Insomnio y estrés percibido en docentes de la Unidad Educativa Babahoyo de la ciudad de Babahoyo
The main objective of this study, entitled Insomnia and perceived stress in teachers of the Babahoyo Educational Unit, is to describe how teachers perceive the relationship between these two problems. Insomnia, characterized by difficulty in falling or staying asleep, and perceived stress, defined as the emotional and physiological response to demanding factors, significantly affect the quality of life and work performance of educators.
The research adopts a non-experimental, descriptive and qualitative design, which allows the collection of detailed information without manipulating the variables. The sample consisted of 40 teachers selected by means of probability sampling by convenience. The Athens Insomnia Scale and the Perceived Stress Scale, complemented with semi-structured interviews, were used to evaluate the dimensions of sleep and stress in their usual context. The results revealed that workload, academic responsibilities, student disinterest and lack of parental support are determining factors in the development of insomnia and stress, reflecting that more than 77.50% of teachers experience insomnia at moderate or severe levels, while 40% of the sample reported very high levels of stress which is negatively influencing their emotional and physical well-being.
In addition, specific perceptions of how these conditions affect their work and personal interactions were identified. The study highlights the need to implement effective coping strategies and intervention programs aimed at reducing insomnia and perceived stress in the teaching environment, thus improving their quality of life and professional performance. La investigación adopta un diseño no experimental, descriptivo y de enfoque cualitativo, lo que permite recopilar información detallada sin manipular las variables. La muestra estuvo conformada por 40 docentes seleccionados mediante muestreo probabilístico por conveniencia. Se emplearon la Escala Atenas de Insomnio y la Escala de Estrés Percibido, complementadas con entrevistas semi-estructuradas, para evaluar las dimensiones de sueño y estrés en su contexto habitual. Los resultados revelaron que la carga laboral, las responsabilidades académicas, el desinterés estudiantil y la falta de apoyo de los padres son factores determinantes en el desarrollo de insomnio y estrés, reflejando que más del 77.50% de los docentes experimentan insomnio en niveles moderados o severos, mientras que el 40% de la muestra reportó niveles muy altos de estrés lo cual está influyendo negativamente en su bienestar emocional y físico.
Además, se identificaron percepciones específicas sobre cómo estas condiciones afectan sus interacciones laborales y personales. El estudio resalta la necesidad de implementar estrategias de afrontamiento efectivas y programas de intervención orientados a reducir el insomnio y el estrés percibido en el entorno docente, mejorando así su calidad de vida y rendimiento profesional. The main purpose of the research project entitled "Mindly and its influence on the visual learning of students at the Potosí Educational Unit, academic period October 2024 - March 2025" is to build a digital guide that enhances students' visual learning through the use of the Mindly digital tool. This project was carried out in response to the need to update and diversify pedagogical methodologies, responding to current educational demands that require the integration of innovative technologies in the classroom.
Visual learning as a pedagogical approach is based on the use of graphic representations, such as mind maps, diagrams and other visual elements, which facilitate the understanding, retention and connection of concepts, allowing students to process information more effectively. Mindly, in particular, offers a digital environment that allows students to organize ideas in a structured and non-linear way, promoting essential skills such as creativity, critical thinking and information organization.
The research aims to: describe the main characteristics of visual learning, identify the specific functionalities of the Mindly digital tool that favor this learning style, and design a practical guide to facilitate its implementation in the classrooms of the Potosí Educational Unit. To achieve these objectives, a non-experimental design with a mixed approach was used, using techniques such as observation, surveys, and documentary analysis to collect information from both students and teachers.

Este proyecto se realizó ante la necesidad de actualizar y diversificar las metodologías pedagógicas, respondiendo a las demandas educativas actuales que exigen la integración de tecnologías innovadoras en el aula.
El aprendizaje visual como enfoque pedagógico se basa en el uso de representaciones gráficas, como mapas mentales, diagramas y otros elementos visuales, que facilitan la comprensión, retención y conexión de conceptos, permitiendo a los estudiantes procesar la información de manera más efectiva. Mindly, en particular, ofrece un entorno digital que permite a los estudiantes organizar ideas de forma estructurada y no lineal, promoviendo habilidades esenciales como la creatividad, el pensamiento crítico y la organización de información.
La investigación se plantea con los siguientes objetivos: describir las características principales del aprendizaje visual, identificar las funcionalidades específicas de la herramienta digital Mindly que favorecen este estilo de aprendizaje y diseñar una guía práctica que facilite su implementación en las aulas de la Unidad Educativa Potosí. Para lograr estos objetivos, se empleó un diseño no experimental con un enfoque mixto, utilizando técnicas como la observación, encuestas y análisis documental para recopilar información tanto de estudiantes como de docentes.
Se espera que este proyecto contribuya significativamente al desarrollo de nuevas estrategias pedagógicas basadas en el aprendizaje visual, especialmente en contextos donde la enseñanza tradicional aún está presente. La integración de Mindly permitirá a los docentes diversificar sus métodos de enseñanza y a los estudiantes desarrollar sus capacidades cognitivas y creativas, mejorando así su desempeño académico y su aprendizaje visual. Conjuntamente, la guía digital diseñada ofrecerá un recurso práctico y accesible que garantizará una aplicación efectiva y sostenible de esta herramienta transformando las dinámicas de enseñanza y aprendizaje en el aula. Deforestación y sus consecuencias en la biodiversidad para el desarrollo del turismo de naturaleza del cantón Montalvo, Provincia de Los Ríos
This research work addresses the problem of deforestation and its consequences on biodiversity and nature tourism in the Montalvo canton, province of Los Ríos, with the main objective of determining the impact on biodiversity as a consequence of deforestation and its impact on the development of nature tourism in the Montalvo canton, province of Los Ríos, with the purpose of understanding how this problem negatively affects the environment and tourism development in the area. It is proposed to expose relevant bibliographic evidence on the variables that make up the problem and that allow understanding the origin of deforestation in the area and analyze the effects it has on the existing biodiversity in the canton, using an exploratory methodology with a qualitative approach for the collection of truthful and relevant information to demonstrate the opinion of local residents through data collection techniques such as surveys, focus groups and interviews and with the analysis of the results to raise the appropriate conclusions and recommendations. El objetivo principal es determinar cómo la deforestación afecta la biodiversidad y su incidencia en el desarrollo del turismo de naturaleza en la zona, comprendiendo cómo esta problemática impacta negativamente al medio ambiente y al desarrollo turístico. Se propone exponer evidencia bibliográfica relevante sobre las variables que conforman la problemática, entender el origen de la deforestación en la zona y analizar sus afectaciones en la biodiversidad. Se utilizará una metodología exploratoria con enfoque cualitativo, recolectando información verídica y relevante mediante encuestas, focus groups y entrevistas para evidenciar la opinión de los residentes locales. Como resultado, se espera demostrar que la deforestación ha incidido negativamente en la biodiversidad, afectando el desarrollo del turismo de naturaleza, permitiendo así aplicar correctivos por parte de las autoridades pertinentes para enmendar el daño causado y potenciar la sostenibilidad del turismo mediante estrategias de conservación que generen equilibrio y protección ambiental
Meta AI y el aprendizaje de los estudiantes del bachillerato técnico en informática de la Unidad Educativa Babahoyo, periodo académico Octubre 2024 – Marzo 2025.
In this curricular project research, the general objective is to evaluate the use of Meta AI in the learning of the students of the Technical Baccalaureate in computer science of the Educational Unit of Babahoyo during the academic period October 2024 March 2025. This study seeks to determine how Meta AI contributes to the development of meaningful learning and critical analysis skills. The methodology used for this study is of a mixed nature where qualitative and quantitative data obtained through direct observation, survey and literature review techniques were collected and analyzed. The object of study for data collection is a population that includes 311 students enrolled in the Technical High School of Computer Science at the Babahoyo Educational Unit and the sample of this is 173 students who were surveyed. In which an observation form and a questionnaire constructed by 10 closed questions with Likert scale were applied, applying these techniques to comply with the evaluation of the use of Meta IA.
The scope of the research is descriptive using a non-experimental design in order to observe the study phenomenon in its natural context without manipulating the variables. This study seeks to determine how Meta AI contributes to the development of meaningful learning and critical analysis skills. The methodology used for this study is of a mixed nature where qualitative and quantitative data obtained through direct observation, survey and literature review techniques were collected and analyzed. The object of study for data collection is a population that includes 311 students enrolled in the Technical High School of Computer Science at the Babahoyo Educational Unit and the sample of this is 173 students who were surveyed. In which an observation form and a questionnaire constructed by 10 closed questions with Likert scale were applied, applying these techniques to comply with the evaluation of the use of Meta IA.
The scope of the research is descriptive using a non-experimental design in order to observe the study phenomenon in its natural context without manipulating the variables. The data obtained were analyzed using techniques such as documentary analysis to support the discussion of results between survey and observation, obtaining conclusions and recommendations, where it was evidenced that the use of Meta AI contributes to the significant learning of students, implementing the application in academic activities and leading students to use it frequently to solve their doubts in a quick way.En esta investigación de proyecto curricular, el objetivo general es evaluar el uso de Meta AI en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes de Bachillerato Técnico en informática de la Unidad Educativa de Babahoyo durante el periodo académico octubre 2024 marzo 2025. Este estudio busca determinar cómo Meta AI aporta en el desarrollo del aprendizaje significativo y las habilidades de análisis crítico. La metodología utilizada para este estudio es de carácter mixto donde se recopilo y analizaron los datos cualitativos y cuantitativos obtenidos a través de las técnicas de observación directa, encuesta y revisión bibliográfica. El objeto de estudio para la recopilación de datos es una población que incluye 311 estudiantes matriculados en Bachillerato Técnico de Informática en la Unidad Educativa Babahoyo y la muestra de esta es de 173 alumnos los cuales fueron encuestados. En la que se aplicó una ficha de observación y un cuestionario construido por 10 preguntas cerradas con escala de Likert, aplicando estas técnicas para cumplir con la evaluación del uso de Meta AI.
El alcance de la investigación es de carácter descriptivo utilizando un diseño no experimental con el fin de observar el fenómeno de estudio en su contexto natural sin llegar a manipular las variables. Los datos obtenidos se analizaron utilizando técnicas como el análisis documental para respaldar la discusión de resultados entre encuesta y observación obteniendo conclusión y recomendaciones fundamentadas, donde se evidencio que el uso de Meta AI aporta al aprendizaje significativo de los estudiantes, implementando la aplicación en las actividades académicas y llevando a que los estudiantes utilicen con frecuencia para resolver sus dudas de una manera rápida
Caracterización fisicoquímica, microbiológica y sensorial de un vino de taxo (Passiflora tarminiana) y guayaba (Psidium guajava L).
This experimental research focused on analyzing how variations in pulp ratio and yeast type influence the characteristics of a fruit wine made from taxo (Passiflora tarminiana) and guava (Psidium guajava L.). The objective was to develop a novel product that combines sensory appeal with nutritional value by using underutilized tropical fruits. A completely randomized design was applied, with four treatments and three replications, combining two pulp ratios (40% taxo with 60% guava and 60% taxo with 40% guava) and two types of commercial yeast (P21 and XL). The wine was fermented over a 15-day period under controlled conditions. Physicochemical properties such as pH, °Brix (soluble solids), and titratable acidity were evaluated according to Ecuadorian technical standards (NTE INEN 374). Microbiological analysis was conducted to measure mold and yeast counts, ensuring the safety of the product. Additionally, sensory evaluations were performed using a hedonic scale with 30 untrained panelists who assessed aroma, flavor, texture, bitterness, and overall acceptability. Among the treatments, the combination of 40% taxo, 60% guava, and P21 yeast (T1) showed the most favorable results, especially in sensory perception. This formulation achieved the highest acceptability ratings, particularly for aroma and flavor, and met microbiological safety standards, although its mold and yeast counts approached the maximum permissible limits (10³ CFU/g) as outlined by NTE INEN 1529-10. While pH values did not show significant differences across treatments, statistically significant variations were observed in °Brix and titratable acidity, indicating that the fruit ratio and yeast type have a measurable impact on sugar content and acidity levels in the final product. This study demonstrates the importance of optimizing pulp proportions and yeast selection to enhance wine quality. It also highlights the potential of tropical fruits like taxo and guava in the creation of innovative fermented beverages. Se aplicó un diseño completamente al azar con cuatro tratamientos y tres repeticiones, combinando dos proporciones de pulpa (40% taxo y 60% guayaba, y 60% taxo y 40% guayaba) con dos tipos de levadura comercial (P21 y XL). La fermentación se llevó a cabo durante 15 días bajo condiciones controladas. Se evaluaron propiedades fisicoquímicas como pH, grados Brix (sólidos solubles) y acidez titulable, de acuerdo con las normas técnicas ecuatorianas (NTE INEN 374). El análisis microbiológico incluyó el recuento de mohos y levaduras para asegurar la inocuidad del producto. Además, se realizó una evaluación sensorial mediante una escala hedónica con 30 panelistas no entrenados, quienes valoraron aroma, sabor, textura, amargor y aceptabilidad. Entre los tratamientos, la combinación de 40% de taxo, 60% de guayaba y levadura P21 (T1) presentó los mejores resultados, especialmente en la percepción sensorial. Esta formulación obtuvo las calificaciones más altas en atributos como aroma y sabor, y cumplió con los estándares microbiológicos, aunque sus recuentos de mohos y levaduras se acercaron al límite máximo permitido (10³ UFC/g) según la NTE INEN 1529-10. Aunque no se observaron diferencias estadísticamente significativas en el pH, sí se encontraron variaciones significativas en los grados Brix y la acidez titulable, lo que demuestra que la proporción de fruta y el tipo de levadura afectan el contenido de azúcar y la acidez del producto final. El estudio demuestra la importancia de optimizar la proporción de pulpa y la selección de levaduras para mejorar la calidad del vino. Además, resalta el potencial del taxo y la guayaba en la elaboración de bebidas fermentadas innovadoras, promoviendo la diversificación y el valor agregado en la producción agroindustrial

The development of gross motor skills is essential for students, particularly during the elementary school stage. This study focuses on developing a teaching guide for this development among ninth-grade students at the Adolfo María Astudillo Educational Unit.
This study adopted a mixed-methods research approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods, as well as descriptive and applied research. Objective measurements of students' motor skills were conducted, along with surveys and interviews to better understand their perceptions and experiences.
The results revealed a significant correlation between active participation in physical education classes and the development of gross motor skills among ninth-grade students at the Adolfo María Astudillo Educational Unit. This correlation was evident in aspects such as improved physical and motor skills.

En este estudio se adoptó un enfoque mixto de investigación, combinando métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos, además la investigación descriptiva y aplicada. Se realizaron mediciones objetivas de la condición motrices de los estudiantes, además de encuestas y entrevistas para comprender mejor sus percepciones y experiencias.
Los resultados obtenidos revelaron una correlación significativa entre la participación activa en las clases de educación física y el desarrollo de la motricidad gruesa en los estudiantes de noveno año de básica de la Unidad Educativa “Adolfo María Astudillo”. Esta correlación se evidenció en aspectos como la mejora de la condición física y motora.
Este estudio proporciona una visión clara sobre el impacto de una guía didáctica en el desarrollo de la motricidad gruesa en los adolescentes. Destaca la importancia de integrar programas de educación física efectivos y bien diseñados para beneficios de la comunidad estudiantil.

Transmisión de los Saberes Ancestrales y su Relación con el Desarrollo del Turismo Cultural en la Provincia de Los Ríos
The research analyzes the transmission of ancestral knowledge and its impact on the development of cultural tourism in the province of Los Ríos, Ecuador. Its main objective was to determine how this knowledge can be integrated into the tourism offer to strengthen cultural identity and promote sustainable development. To this end, a mixed approach methodology was used, combining quantitative and qualitative techniques. Surveys were conducted with 200 inhabitants of the province and interviews were conducted with six tourism professionals from the Technical University of Babahoyo. The results showed that the most representative ancestral practices are agricultural production (35%) and natural medicine (29%), although their transmission faces difficulties due to the lack of interest of the new generations (64%). It was identified that older adults are the main transmitters of this knowledge (75 %), but the scarce dissemination and educational strategies limit its preservation. In addition, the study highlighted the need to implement strategies such as the creation of cultural routes, participatory workshops and digital promotion campaigns to strengthen cultural tourism based on the Montubio identity. It was concluded that the integration of ancestral knowledge in tourism can generate economic and cultural benefits, provided that adequate policies are implemented for its promotion and conservation. Los resultados evidenciaron que las prácticas ancestrales más representativas son la producción agrícola (35 %) y la medicina natural (29 %), aunque su transmisión enfrenta dificultades debido al desinterés de las nuevas generaciones (64 %). Se identificó que los adultos mayores son los principales transmisores de estos conocimientos (75 %), pero la escasa difusión y estrategias educativas limita su preservación. Además, el estudio resaltó la necesidad de implementar estrategias como la creación de rutas culturales, talleres participativos y campañas de promoción digital para fortalecer el turismo cultural basado en la identidad montubia. Se concluyó que la integración de los saberes ancestrales en la actividad turística puede generar beneficios económicos y culturales, siempre que se implementen políticas adecuadas para su promoción y conservación. Finalmente, se recomienda fomentar espacios de enseñanza, eventos comunitarios y alianzas estratégicas entre instituciones para asegurar la continuidad de estas prácticas y potenciar el turismo cultural en la Provincia
