Calidad molinera de la línea promisoria de arroz L-07(Oryza sp) comparada con la variedad comercial SFL-11, en la zona de CEDEGE, Montalvo, provincia de Los Ríos
No full textThis research work is of great relevance, since it reveals to the consumer and the producer the quality of the grains of new rice cultivars. The objective of this study was to evaluate the milling quality of the promising line of rice L-07 in the area of Montalvo, province of Los Ríos. To carry out this research, a methodology was used that consisted of two rice cultivars, L-07 and SFL-11, with three replications each. The process was carried out in the Grain Laboratory of FACIAG-UTB, which has specialized equipment to dry, clean, hull, polish, obtain dust, rice, as well as to measure the moisture content and amylose content. The variables evaluated included: husk weight (g), moisture percentage (%) brown rice weight (g), white mass weight (g), dust weight (g), broken grain weight (g), whole grain weight, whiteness, as well as percentage (%). For statistical analysis, a completely randomized design (CRD) and Tukey's analysis at 5% probability were applied to compare means. Cultivar L-07 had higher hull content, dust and broken rice weight, whiteness, amylose, and yield than cultivar SFL-11, but the latter cultivar had higher whole grains, whole grain weight, white mass, protein, and density than cultivar L-07. El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar la calidad molinera de la línea prometedora de arroz L-07 en la zona de Montalvo, provincia de Los Ríos. Para llevar a cabo esta investigación, se empleó una metodología que consistió en dos cultivares de arroz, L-07 y SFL-11, con tres repeticiones cada uno. El proceso se realizó en el Laboratorio de Granos de la FACIAG-UTB, que cuenta con equipos especializados para secar, limpiar, descascarar, pulir, obtener polvillo, arrocillo, así como para medir el contenido de humedad y el contenido de amilosa. Las variables evaluadas incluyeron: el peso (g) de la cascarilla, el porcentaje (%) de humedad, el peso (g) de arroz integral, el peso (g) de masa blanca, el peso (g) de polvillo, el peso (g) de granos quebrados (arrocillo), el peso de granos enteros, la blancura, así como el porcentaje (%) de amilosa y proteína. Para el análisis estadístico, se aplicó un diseño completamente al azar (DCA) y el análisis de Tukey al 5% de probabilidad, para la comparación de medias. El cultivar L-07 posee mayor cantidad de cascarilla, peso del polvillo y arroz quebrado, blancura, amilosa y rendimiento que el cultivar SFL-11, pero este último cultivar posee mayores granos enteros, peso de grano integral, masa blanca, proteína y densidad que el cultivar L-07. El contenido de amilosa en el cultivar L-07 fue superior con 31,90 % que en el cultivar SFL-11 con el que se obtuvo un porcentaje de 26,93 %

No full textEl presente estudio de caso se enfoca en la rentabilidad financiera de la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Juan Pío de Mora durante el periodo 2022- 2023, cuyo objetivo principal es evaluar cómo los indicadores financieros reflejan el desempeño económico y la sostenibilidad con la que cuenta la entidad. Mediante el uso de herramientas financieras, se puede examinar la variación que han tenido cada una de las cuentas en el transcurso de los años analizados para entender los factores que afectan a su rentabilidad. Durante el análisis, se evidenció que los ingresos han experimentado cambios que son significativos para la entidad, de igual forma los costos operativos y las provisiones crediticias. Sin embargo, el incremento en estas cuentas no mejoraron la rentabilidad, mostrando un manejo deficiente. Además de eso, se analiza el apalancamiento financiero para determinar el uso de la deuda y si afecta a la estabilidad económica de la institución. Esta investigación se destaca principalmente por la importancia de mejorar la eficiencia a teves de estrategias financieras que tengan como prioridad llevar un mejor control en los costos y la optimización de los ingresos. También se hace énfasis en la necesidad de implementar políticas que fortalezcan la sostenibilidad financiera y reduzcan riesgos
Diagnóstico de políticas y programas sobre la violencia de género en el ámbito del agroturismo y turismo rural aplicados en Ecuador

Its main objective is to analyze the policies and programs on gender-based violence in the field of agritourism and rural tourism applied in the country to establish the diagnosis and recommendations for their effectiveness or the generation of new policies and programs.
The methodology used proposes a qualitative exploratory design to understand the policies and programs on gender violence and their impact on agritourism and rural tourism, a documentary review is proposed to understand the variables that make up the exposed problem and the relationship between them and through a checklist will verify the activities or policies that meet the criteria to prevent and eradicate gender violence, in addition to the application of interviews with experts to generate the diagnosis of current policies and programs.

La metodología empleada plantea un diseño exploratorio cualitativo para comprender las políticas y programas sobre violencia de género y el impacto de las mismas en el agroturismo y turismo rural, se plantea una revisión documental que permita comprender las variables que conforman la problemática expuesta y la relación entre las mismas y mediante una lista de cotejo se verificará las actividades o políticas que cumplan con los criterios para prevenir y erradicar la violencia de género, además de la aplicación de entrevistas a expertos para generar el diagnostico de las políticas y programas actuales.
El presente trabajo de integración curricular posibilita evidenciar un diagnóstico de las políticas y programas actuales y si las mismas están siendo efectivas o si, por el contrario, es necesario cambiar su enfoque de aplicación para su efectividad o si se deben crear nuevas políticas que ayuden a cumplir con las actuales y a erradicar la violencia de género en el agroturismo y el turismo rural en Ecuador
Proceso de atención nutricional en paciente embarazada de 14 semanas de gestación con anemia ferropénica leve.
No full textThis case study concerns a 23-year-old female patient, 14 weeks pregnant, who attended a nutritional consultation after being referred to the Eduardo Montenegro Basic Hospital in the Chillanes canton, Bolívar province, to begin treatment for her current nutritional status. The patient's assessments determined that she had mild iron deficiency anemia and was overweight, associated with an inadequate/insufficient intake of nutritious or healthy foods during pregnancy. Therefore, she required a nutritional plan based on a 2400 kcal/day high-protein, normoglycemic, low-fat diet rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, and hyper-iron deficiency divided into five meals a day, in order to improve her health and nutritional status. Once the nutritional plan was implemented, the results were favorable. The patient managed to improve her health and nutritional status, which had been affected by poor food consumption. That is, she maintained an appropriate weight for the weeks of pregnancy, increased hemoglobin, hematocrit, and red blood cells, and reduced triglycerides, decreasing the risk of hypertriglyceridemia. The pregnant woman was recommended to continue nutritional consultations to maintain proper and healthy nutrition that would help maintain her health and weight according to the weeks of pregnancy. Las valoraciones efectuadas a la paciente determinaron que presenta anemia ferropénica leve y sobrepeso asociado con ingesta inadecuada/insuficiente de alimentos nutritivos o saludables durante la gestación. Por lo cual, requirió un plan nutricional basado en una dieta de 2000 kcal/día hiperproteica, normoglucídica, hipograsa rica en ácidos grasos monoinsaturados y poliinsaturados, y hiperferropénica fraccionada en cinco tiempos de comida al día, con el fin de mejorar la salud y estado nutritivo. Una vez aplicado el plan nutricional los resultados fueron favorables, la a paciente consiguió mejorar la salud y estado nutricional afectado por el consumo deficiente de alimentos; es decir, mantiene un peso adecuado para las semanas de gestación, aumentó la hemoglobina, hematocrito y hematíes, y redujo los triglicéridos disminuyendo el riesgo de hipertrigliceridemia. Se recomendó la gestante continuar las consultas nutricionales para seguir llevando una nutrición adecuada y saludable que le ayude a mantener la salud en buen estado al igual que su peso según las semanas de gestación. También es clave que cada cierto tiempo modifiqué el plan de alimentación para que varié la alimentación durante la etapa de embarazo

Through this tool, teachers can carry out interactive activities that allow students to learn about topics of interest to them, promoting active and effective learning. The purpose of this case study is to analyze how Quizizz promotes meaningful learning among students of the Pedagogy degree in Experimental Sciences in Computer Science, during the semester from October 2024 to March 2025. No full textThe tools designed for the creation of mind or concept maps in a digital way are rising rapidly, and its proper use in the educational field is increasingly essential, this project focuses on analyzing the contribution of a program known as “COGGLE” to know how it contributes to the learning of students in Basic Education at the Technical University of Babahoyo in the academic period from October 2024 to March 2025. In this research the contextualization, background and everything related to Coggle and learning are presented, having as a relation to cognitive, motivational, social and creativity skills that are important nowadays in a world immersed in digitization.
This research will be descriptive, focused on the analysis and use of Coggle in the learning of Basic Education students. The results will be achieved through a combined approach, which unites data in a qualitative way that focuses on presenting a contextualized and detailed understanding, and in turn quantitative to obtain information according to what is pursued according to the data obtained. While documentary research and observation will be based on the analysis of data collection from the population and existing information from articles, books and reports.

En esta investigación se da a conocer la contextualización, antecedentes y todo lo relacionado con Coggle y el aprendizaje, teniendo como relación a las habilidades cognitiva, motivacional, social y creatividad que son importantes en esta actualidad dentro de un mundo sumergido en la digitalización.
Esta investigación será descriptiva, enfocada en el análisis y uso de Coggle en el aprendizaje de los alumnos de Educación Básica. Los resultados se alcanzarán mediante un enfoque combinado, que une datos de manera cualitativa que se centra en presentar una comprensión contextualizada y detallada, y a su vez cuantitativa para obtener información acorde a lo que se persigue de acuerdo a los datos obtenidos. Mientras que la investigación documental y la observación se basará en el análisis de recolección de información de la población e información existente de parte de artículos, libros e informes.

No full textThe present work aims to analyze the contribution of the educational platform Nearpod in the learning of students of the Technical Baccalaureate in Computer Science of the Barreiro Educational Unit during the academic period October 2024-March 2025., during the academic period from October 2024 to March 2025. Nearpod is an interactive digital platform that allows the creation of dynamic and participatory lessons through activities such as questionnaires, surveys, videos and presentations in real time. The research will focus on how the use of Nearpod improves the understanding of key concepts in computer science, promotes active student participation, encourages collaborative work and facilitates a continuous evaluation of academic progress. In addition, the advantages of its implementation to strengthen the technological skills of students will be analyzed, aligning with the objectives of the Technical Baccalaureate in Computer Science program. During the aforementioned academic period, statistical and quantitative tools will be used to measure the effectiveness of Nearpod. The expected results include an increase in students' academic performance, an improvement in classroom interaction, and greater motivation towards learning. No full textInclusion is the pillar of the transformation of an equitable and accessible education for all, in the area of physical education the participation of those students with disabilities represents a challenge and at the same time an opportunity to improve educational practices, that is why, the present work had as objective to design an inclusive practical guide that encourages the participation of students with disabilities in recreational activities of higher basic education in the José María Estrada Educational Unit, since, in this institution an involuntary exclusion of these students in recreational activities of physical education was witnessed due to the lack of inclusive strategies and adequate adaptations, which ends up limiting their social, motor development and their sense of belonging. The research was developed with a qualitative approach using empirical and theoretical methods under a documentary and descriptive research using as techniques direct observation, surveys to students and interviews to teachers in which questionnaires of open and closed questions were used. The results indicate that, although teachers have an inclusive vision, they are not implementing the activities effectively, therefore, not all students with disabilities manage to integrate into the activities. It was concluded that an inclusive practical guide has the potential to improve participation and promote an equitable environment in recreational activities. However, the effectiveness of these strategies will depend on ongoing teacher training.La inclusión es el pilar de la transformación de una educación equitativa y accesible para todos, en el área de educación física la participación de aquellos estudiantes que presentan discapacidad representa un desafío y a la vez una oportunidad para mejorar las prácticas educativas, es por ello que, el presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo diseñar una guía práctica inclusiva que fomente la participación de estudiantes con discapacidad en las actividades recreativas de la educación básica superior en la Unidad Educativa José María Estrada, puesto que, en esta institución se presenció una exclusión involuntaria de estos estudiantes en las actividades recreativas de educación física debido a la falta de estrategias inclusivas y adaptaciones adecuadas, lo cual termina limitando su desarrollo social, motor y su sentido de pertenencia. La investigación se desarrolló con un enfoque cualitativo empleando métodos empírico y teórico bajo una investigación documental y descriptiva utilizando como técnicas la observación directa, encuestas a estudiantes y entrevistas a docentes en las que se usaron cuestionarios de preguntas abiertas y cerradas. Los resultados señalan que, aunque los docentes tienen una visión inclusiva no están aplicando las actividades de manera efectiva, por lo tanto, no todos los estudiantes con discapacidad logran integrarse en las actividades. Se concluyó que una guía práctica inclusiva tiene el potencial de mejorar la participación y fomentar un ambiente equitativo en las actividades recreativas. No full textThe present research is entitled "Role-playing games and their impact on the development of social skills in children of Initial Education 2". Where the study focuses on the Juan E. Verdesoto Basic Education School, located in the city of Babahoyo, province of Los Ríos, in which it is identified that there are difficulties in the socialization processes in some children, who attend classes. Thus, arriving at the lack of a pedagogical approach that incorporates these playful dynamics, limits the capacity of school children to interact effectively with their peers and develop emotionally in a social environment. Despite the recognized importance of these activities, many teachers face challenges in their implementation due to the lack of professional training and preparation. Therefore, the research aims to determine the incidence of role-playing games and their impact on the development of social skills in children of the educational institution; Therefore, a non-experimental methodological design with a descriptive scope and a mixed approach was used, using field research with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews with teachers and surveys for parents, and an observation form for children, being samples and fundamental guides for the study, adopting an analytical-synthetic method. No full textThe objective of this project is to analyze the impact of professional ethics in the role of the secretarial staff of the educational institutions of Babahoyo, since this group of professionals perform different tasks in the exercise of their work and, therefore, ethical values such as confidentiality, discretion or other aspects are key to ensure their good performance in accordance with the labor expectations of their superiors and in general to the institution to which they provide their services. In the methodology used for the development of the work, the type of descriptive, field and documentary research was applied, which allowed consolidating an efficient research process, which, in parallel with the survey technique applied for data collection, it was possible to fulfill the correct analysis of information collected from direct sources and to have reliable results to make the final deductions of the project. The results of the research showed that in educational institutions, internal problems in the secretariat are generally linked to the abundance of information handled in the area and the level of confidentiality that exists for certain documents and reports. En la metodología empleada para el desarrollo del trabajo, se aplicó el tipo de investigación descriptiva, de campo y documental, lo cual permitió consolidar un proceso investigativo eficiente, que, en paralelo con la técnica de la encuesta aplicada para la recopilación de datos, fue posible cumplir el correcto análisis de información recabada desde fuentes directas y disponer de resultados confiables para hacer las deducciones finales del proyecto. En los resultados de la investigación, se obtuvo que en las instituciones educativas generalmente los problemas internos en secretaría se vinculan a la abundancia de información que se maneja en el área y el nivel de confidencialidad que existe para ciertos documentos e informes. Como conclusión se puede decir que la ética profesional tiene un alto impacto en el rol del personal de secretaría que labora en instituciones educativas, en función de los muchos actores que forman parte de esa comunidad, y la cantidad de información que se maneja en la jornada de trabajo diario
