INTERCORRÊNCIAS PERIODONTAIS DEVIDO A FALHAS EM FACETAS DENTÁRIAS: REVISÃO DE LITERATURA
Get PDFAs facetas odontológicas são opções estéticas para tratamento de anomalias dentárias, alteração de cor e posicionamento dentário, fraturas amplas, dentes conóides e hipoplásicos, fechamento de diastemas, entre outros. Entretanto, falhas durante a execução deste procedimento podem ocasionar intercorrências periodontais, causando desconforto e comprometendo a saúde bucal. Este artigo busca, por meio de uma revisão de literatura, analisar os principais fatores que contribuem para o insucesso na execução de facetas e as consequências periodontais resultantes. Além disso, reitera-se a importância de um plano de tratamento adequado, ensaio restaurador, materiais de qualidade e técnicas precisas para garantir um resultado satisfatório e duradouro. A metodologia utilizada foi baseada em artigos científicos publicados nas bases de dados online: Google Acadêmico, PubMed e Lilacs. Grande parte das falhas de facetas são provenientes de uma execução inadequada por parte do cirurgião-dentista responsável. Portanto, é fundamental que os profissionais estejam em constante aprendizado e conduzam cada caso de acordo com as necessidades dos pacientes
APLICAÇÃO DA LEI MARIA DA PENHA: A LEI MARIA DA PENHA CRIA MECANISMOS PARA COIBIR A VIOLÊNCIA?
Get PDFThis work aims to analyze the application of Law 11.340/2006, known as the Maria da Penha Law, and evaluate its effectiveness in confronting domestic violence against women in Brazil. The research seeks to identify the main institutional, cultural and social barriers that hinder the full execution of the legislation and propose ways to improve the protection system for women. To achieve these objectives, a bibliographic review of doctrinal works, academic articles and institutional reports was carried out, focusing on the analysis of concrete cases and the evaluation of statistical data on gender violence in the country. The methodology used was the literature review, from which the protective measures provided for in the law and how they are implemented in the daily lives of the victims were examined. The study observed theoretical data, seeking to identify possible failures in the justice system and in public policies aimed at the protection of women. The results pointed out that, although the Maria da Penha Law has provided important advances in the protection of victims, its application is still limited by factors such as lack of infrastructure, cultural resistance and institutional deficiencies. The research confirmed the hypothesis that there is a gap between the legislation and its practical effectiveness, highlighting the need for improvements in the state apparatus and social awareness to overcome these challenges and ensure greater protection for women victims of violence.

Prevention of violence.O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a aplicação da Lei 11.340/2006, conhecida como Lei Maria da Penha, e avaliar sua efetividade no enfrentamento da violência doméstica contra a mulher no Brasil. A pesquisa busca identificar as principais barreiras institucionais, culturais e sociais que dificultam a plena execução da legislação e propor caminhos para o aprimoramento do sistema de proteção às mulheres. Para alcançar esses objetivos, foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica de obras doutrinárias, artigos acadêmicos e relatórios institucionais, com foco na análise de casos concretos e na avaliação de dados estatísticos sobre a violência de gênero no país. A metodologia utilizada foi a revisão de literatura, a partir da qual foram examinadas as medidas protetivas previstas na lei e a forma como são implementadas no cotidiano das vítimas. O estudo observou dados teóricos, buscando identificar possíveis falhas no sistema de justiça e nas políticas públicas voltadas à proteção das mulheres. Os resultados apontaram que, embora a Lei Maria da Penha tenha proporcionado avanços importantes na proteção das vítimas, sua aplicação ainda é limitada por fatores como a falta de infraestrutura, resistência cultural e deficiências institucionais. A pesquisa confirmou a hipótese de que há uma lacuna entre a legislação e sua efetividade prática, destacando a necessidade de melhorias no aparato estatal e na conscientização social para superar esses desafios e garantir maior proteção às mulheres vítimas de violência
Uma releitura da missão constitucional da investigação policial frente a continuidade do inquérito após a prescrição nos casos de pessoas desaparecidas
Get PDFThe disappearance of a person is a “police case” and, using technical-legal terms, if the disappearance occurred more than 20 years ago, there is no longer any way to impose liability on the perpetrator of a possible crime. However, based on the dignity of the human person, by Law No. 13,812/2019 the State determined that investigations into the disappearance will be carried out until the person is effectively located. This study proposes a new reflection on the constitutional mission of the police investigation, having as its vector the guarantee of protection and dignity of those who need the action of State professionals capable of discovering the truth and giving citizens the answer to fill a void that has reached their lives. It is a narrative review of the literature, with a qualitative and exploratory approach, having organized a compilation of information and opinions extracted from legal, normative, interpretative and opinion publications, whose construction was structured in the dialogue between three methodological-didactic itineraries: understanding; interpretation and criticism. The surveys resulted in the organization of four categories of debate: grounds for the loss of the right to punish and its implications for legal and social relations; functions of police investigation; disappearance of persons and human dignity; police investigation in the case of missing persons, during the statute of limitations and after the occurrence of this. It was concluded that, in the scenario studied, the police investigation takes on a guarantor role and ceases to be an instrument of preliminary investigation and becomes the procedure responsible for the search for the real truth and the execution of which, by the Judicial Police, will not be aimed at other public bodies, but rather at the family of the missing person, in order to guarantee the dignity of each of their loved ones.O desaparecimento de uma pessoa é um “caso de polícia” e, falando em termos técnico-jurídicos, se o evento ocorreu há mais de 20 anos, não há mais como responsabilizar o autor de eventual crime. Entretanto, no esteio da dignidade da pessoa humana, pela Lei n. 13.812/2019 o Estado estatuiu que as investigações sobre o desaparecimento serão realizadas até a efetiva localização da pessoa. Este estudo propõe revisitar a missão constitucional da investigação policial, tendo como vetor a garantia de proteção e dignidade àqueles que necessitam da atuação de profissionais do Estado aptos a descobrir a verdade e proporcionar aos cidadãos a resposta ao preenchimento de um vazio que aportou nas trajetórias existenciais. Trata-se de revisão narrativa da literatura, de abordagem qualitativa e exploratória, tendo sido organizado um compilado de informações e opiniões extraídas de publicações jurídicas, normativas, interpretativas e de opinião, cuja construção se baseou na relação dialógica entre três itinerários metodológico-didáticos: compreensão; interpretação e crítica. Os levantamentos resultaram na organização de quatro categorias de debate: fundamentos da perda do direito de punir e suas implicações para as relações jurídico-sociais; funções da investigação policial; desaparecimento de pessoas perante a dignidade da pessoa humana; investigação policial no caso de pessoas desaparecidas, no curso da prescrição e após a ocorrência desta. Concluiu-se que, no cenário referido, o inquérito policial assume feição garantidora e deixa de ser instrumento de investigação preliminar para ser o procedimento incumbido da busca da verdade real, cuja consecução, pela Polícia Judiciária, não terá por destinatários outros órgãos públicos, e sim a família do desaparecido, na garantia da dignidade de cada um dos seus entes
ANÁLISE DA REINCIDÊNCIA CRIMINAL E DE POLÍTICAS DE RESSOCIALIZAÇÃO
Get PDFThe study in question aims to analyze resocialization and its importance in resolving the flaws in the country's public security system. The high rate of crime and criminal recidivism, linked to the precarious prison system, were the main topics discussed. Accordingly, the State's role as a guarantor of citizens' rights and the main public policies that guarantee jus puniend in an educational and humane way were investigated and how this can combat high crime rates. With an analysis of laws, jurisprudence and doctrines, it was important to highlight the validity of the Criminal Executions Law, which innovated the criminal execution system, encouraging resocialization and emphasizing the role of the State, not only as a guarantor of punishment but also as an agent of opportunities for the individual, after the period of imprisonment, guaranteeing the right to work, study, progression of regime, among other nuances beneficial to the inmate. Together, the former prisoner's difficulties in returning to society were highlighted, facing social prejudice and lack of professional and personal inclusion that make him return to crime.O estudo em questão tem como objetivo a análise da ressocialização e sua importância para a resolução das falhas do sistema de segurança pública do país. O alto índice de criminalidade e a reincidência criminal, atrelados ao sistema carcerário precário, foram as principais temáticas debatidas. Em consonância, foi averiguada a atuação do Estado como garantidor de direitos dos cidadãos e as principais políticas públicas que garantem o jus puniend de forma educativa e humana e como isso pode combater os elevados dados de criminalidade. Com a análise das leis, de jurisprudências e de doutrinas, foi importante ressaltar a vigência da Lei de Execuções Penais que inovou o sistema de execução penal, ao incentivar a ressocialização e enfatizar a atuação do Estado, não só como garantidor da punição como também como agente de oportunidades ao indivíduo, após o período de reclusão, para garantir direito ao trabalho, ao estudo, à progressão de regime, entre outras nuances benéficas ao recluso. Ressaltaram-se, em conjunto, as dificuldades do antigo carcerário no retorno à sociedade, que enfrenta o preconceito social e a falta de inclusão profissional e pessoal que o fazem retornar à criminalidade

CENTRO DE ACOLHIMENTO E INTEGRAÇÃO A MORADORES EM SITUAÇÃO DE RUA
Get PDFGiven the reflections of social exclusion, the absence of a fixed home and the precariousness related to social support are facilitators to create situations that lead individuals to reside on the streets. Thus, the architecture implemented in the shelter spaces can directly influence the emotional, social, physical, psychological factors and the perception of space used in the places, therefore, the buildings must convey to users the feeling of welcome and protection, being able to attract the homeless population. Moreover, this paper aimed to investigate the general issues surrounding the shelters for homeless people, proposing a review through the architectural design, suggesting a Shelter and Integration Center for these individuals in the city of Alfenas - MG. Therefore, it was developed a Graphical Analysis of The Bridge Homeless Assistance Center, Dallas, USA, in order to recognize the structure and its parts that meet the demands of a shelter center for homeless people. Aiming to collect data capable of contributing to the development of a sustainable building with a welcoming and educational character, able to resume social interaction, generate professional incentive, and rescue the human integrity of these individuals. Through the results of the Graphical Analysis and studies of the terrain and its surroundings, an architectural project was developed for a building with the purpose of providing shelter for homeless people, paying attention to Insolation; Accessibility; Energy Efficiency; Effluent Efficiency; Dominant Winds; Landscaping; Distribution of areas and environments; Sectoring and Flowchart.Diante dos reflexos da exclusão social, a ausência de uma moradia fixa e as precariedades referentes ao apoio social são facilitadores para o surgimento de situações que levam os indivíduos a residirem nas ruas. A arquitetura implementada nos espaços de acolhimento pode influenciar diretamente nos fatores emocionais, sociais, físicos, psicológicos e na percepção do espaço. As edificações devem transmitir aos usuários a sensação de acolhimento e proteção, sendo capazes de atrair a população a ser abrigada. Pensando nisso este trabalho teve como objetivo investigar características que envolvem os abrigos destinados a moradores de rua, propondo uma releitura por meio do projeto arquitetônico de um Centro de Acolhimento e Integração na cidade de Alfenas - MG. Para isso foi realizada uma Análise Gráfica do The Bridge Homeless Assistance Center, Dallas, nos EUA, com a finalidade de reconhecer a estrutura e seus partidos que atendem às demandas de um centro de acolhimento para pessoas em situação de rua, visando coletar dados capazes de contribuir para o desenvolvimento projetual de uma edificação sustentável de caráter acolhedor e educativo, capaz de retomar o convívio social, gerar incentivo profissional e resgatar a integridade humana desses indivíduos. Por meio dos resultados da Análise Gráfica e estudos do terreno e seu entorno, foi elaborado um projeto arquitetônico de uma edificação com fins de abrigo para pessoas em situação de rua, que procurou atender critérios quanto à: Insolação; Acessibilidade; Eficiência Energética; Eficiência de Efluentes; Ventos Dominantes; Paisagismo; Distribuição das áreas e ambientes; Setorização e Fluxograma
PERFIL QUÍMICO E ATIVIDADE ANTIOXIDANTE DE KOMBUCHA DERIVADA DE CHÁ COM PROPRIEDADES ENERGÉTICAS
Get PDFKombucha - a drink fermented by bacteria and yeast - is widely used in the East. Kombucha has antioxidant properties and probiotics providing nutraceutical benefits for those who drink it. The objective of this study was to evaluate the chemical profile and antioxidant activity of kombucha that had as substrate a tea with energetic properties (pineapple peel, ginger, and guarana powder) and two types of sugars (crystal or brown sugar). To this end, the study consisted of four treatments with two replications, in which two types of sugar (crystal and brown) and two tea combinations (control energy tea) were compared. For each treatment, the chemical profile and antioxidant activity were evaluated on day zero and day 12. The results showed a reduction in pH for all treatments after fermentation (day 12). The presence of reducing sugars was also observed, which was statistically significant when comparing the energy tea with the control (using crystal or brown sugar) on day zero. Kombuchas showed greater free radical scavenging activity than when measured on day zero. With these results it was observed that, although brown sugar has better nutritional properties than crystal sugar, the results showed that the use of these sugars to prepare kombucha from energy tea did not differ statistically for pH and antioxidant activity. However, the kombuchas produced could be a source of antioxidant action, indicating possible health benefits.A Kombucha - uma bebida fermentada por bactérias e leveduras - é bastante usada no oriente. A kombucha possui propriedades antioxidantes e probióticos proporcionando benefícios nutracêuticos para quem ingere. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o perfil químico e atividade antioxidante de kombucha que teve como substrato um chá com propriedades energéticas (casca de abacaxi, gengibre e pó de guaraná) e dois tipos de açúcares (cristal ou mascavo). Para tanto, o estudo consistiu em quatro tratamentos com duas repetições, no qual foram comparados dois tipos de açúcares (cristal e mascavo) e duas combinações de chá (chá energéticos controle). Para cada tratamento foram avaliados perfil químico e atividade antioxidante no dia zero e no 12° dia. Os resultados mostraram redução de pH paa todos os tratamento após a fermentação (dia 12). Também foi observado presença de açúcares redutores, sendo estes estatisticamente significativos ao comparar o chá energético com o controle (utilizando o açúcar cristal ou mascavo) no dia zero. As kombuchas apresentaram maior atividade sequestrante de radicais livres que quando medidos no dia zero. Com estes resultados observou-se que, apesar do açúcar mascavo ter propriedades nutricionais melhores que o açúcar cristal, os resultados mostraram que o uso desses açúcares para o preparo do kombucha advindo de chá energético não diferiram estatisticamente para pH e atividade antioxidante. Porém, as kombuchas produzidas poderiam ser uma fonte de ação antioxidante, indicando possíveis benefícios para a saúde
ÔMEGA-3 COMO PREVENÇÃO E TRATAMENTO DE TRANSTORNOS DEPRESSIVOS EM ADULTOS
Get PDFO objetivo deste estudo foi realizar uma revisão sistemática de literatura de estudos que avaliaram os efeitos da suplementação de ômega-3 sobre os transtornos depressivos em adultos. Os estudos foram selecionados a partir da busca nas bases dados Pubmed e LILACS, utilizando os seguintes termos: “Omega-3 fatty acids and depression”, “Omega-3 and depression”, “Omega-3 and depression treatment” and “Omega-3 and depression prevention”. Os estudos incluídos foram: 1) ensaios clínicos ou observacionais que investigaram os efeitos da suplementação de ômega-3 em adultos com depressão e/ou ansiedade; 2) estudos publicados entre os anos 2017 e maio de 2022 em inglês. Foram encontrados 192 artigos, do quais apenas 5 foram incluídos na revisão após avaliação de viés e qualidade. Entre os artigos, 3 deles mostraram uma melhora dos sintomas depressivos após a suplementação do ômega-3, contra 2 artigos que mostraram pontos desfavoráveis à sua prevenção. No entanto, foi concluído que as estratégias nutracêuticas de utilização do ômega-3 como suplementos para melhorar quadros depressivos podem ser colocadas em prática, visto que eles auxiliam na melhora da inflamação e na maior expressão de neurotransmissores relacionados às emoções
COMPREENDENDO A SÍNDROME DE BURNOUT NA TEORIA COGNITIVO COMPORTAMENTAL
Get PDFBurnout Syndrome is a psychological disorder characterized by the individual's lack of energy in their professional sphere caused by their work activities, which causes clinically significant losses in their life. The present study aimed to understand Burnout Syndrome from the perspective of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the contributions of this psychotherapeutic approach in treating this condition and restoring the quality of life and health in the work environment of the suffering individual. A Literature Review was carried out in the Google Scholar and Scielo (Scientific Electronic Libraly Online) databases using the crossed descriptors “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy” and “Burnout Syndrome”, these being fundamental to better understand the topic. Carrying out this study allowed us to understand that the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, accompanied by changes in healthier habitual practices, are effective for preventing and treating Burnout Syndrome and other mental and physical illnesses.A Síndrome de Burnout é um distúrbio psíquico caracterizado pela falta de energia do indivíduo no seu âmbito profissional ocasionado pelas suas atividades laborais que provoca prejuízos clinicamente significativos em sua vida. O presente estudo teve por objetivo compreender a Síndrome de Burnout pela perspectiva da Terapia Cognitiva Comportamental e as contribuições dessa abordagem psicoterapêutica no tratamento dessa condição e no restabelecimento da qualidade de vida e saúde no ambiente de trabalho do indivíduo em sofrimento. Foi realizada uma Revisão de Literatura nas bases de dados Google Acadêmico e Scielo (Scientific Eletronic Libraly Online) utilizando os descritores cruzados “Terapia Cognitivo Comportamental” e “Síndrome de Burnout”, sendo estes fundamentais para melhor compreender a temática. A realização desse estudo permitiu compreender que a abordagem Terapia Cognitiva Comportamental (TCC) acompanhado de mudanças de práticas habituais mais saudáveis, são efetivos para prevenção e tratamento da Síndrome de Burnout e outras doenças psíquicas e físicas
INÍCIO DA DOCÊNCIA: DESAFIOS VIVENCIADOS PELOS PROFESSORES EGRESSOS DAS LICENCIATURAS DA UNIFAL-MG
Get PDFThis article focuses on issues related to the beginning of the teaching profession and its impasses. To help us weave this work, we used as theoretical references authors who work with the themes “Beginning Teacher”, “Teacher Professional Development” and “Initial and Continuing Teacher Training”. They are: João Formosinho; Maurice Tardif; Maria Assunção Flores; Michaël Huberman; among other authors. Some questions guided the discussion, such as: knowing the challenges experienced by teachers at the beginning of their careers, what are the overcoming mechanisms developed by teachers in the face of challenges experienced at the beginning of their careers and what teachers' perception is regarding the initial training process and continued. In this sense, the work's central objective is to identify the challenges experienced by teachers graduating from undergraduate courses at UNIFAL-MG and also to verify how initial and/or continued training contributes to facing such challenges. The methodology used is qualitative in nature, with a perspective on constructive interpretation, whose data were obtained through the analysis of a questionnaire made available to graduates. In accordance with the construction of meaning cores, we carried out analyzes and interpretation of data, observing that teaching work resists the oppressive forces faced by educators, especially challenging issues that are related not only to teaching, but also to the construction of the teaching itself. teacher's identity. These challenges are experienced especially by beginning teachers, whose beginning of their career is often marked by a lack of support, whether from colleagues or the institution's own management, often making them give up their career or work as much as possible. We therefore conclude that teaching professional development does not only depend on external factors, such as initial teacher training, but also on issues related to the dynamics of the institution in which one works, especially the educational system as a whole. That is, we need to think more about this beginning teaching professional, so that he can find subsidies, within school institutions, through public policies, that can help him, not only at the beginning of his teaching activity, but also throughout his entire career as a teacher.Este artigo se situa em torno de questões que estão relacionadas ao início da profissão docente e seus impasses. Para nos ajudar a tecer este trabalho, utilizamos como referenciais teóricos autores que trabalham com as temáticas “Professor Iniciante”, “Desenvolvimento Profissional Docente” e “Formação Inicial e Continuada de professores”. São eles: João Formosinho; Maurice Tardif; Maria Assunção Flores; Michaël Huberman; dentre outros autores. Algumas questões orientaram a discussão, tais como: conhecer os desafios vivenciados pelos docentes em início de carreira, quais são os mecanismos de superação elaborados pelos professores frente aos desafios vivenciados em início de carreira e qual a percepção dos docentes quanto ao processo de formação inicial e continuada. Nesse sentido, o trabalho tem como objetivo central identificar os desafios vivenciados pelos professores egressos dos cursos de licenciaturas da UNIFAL-MG e também verificar como a formação inicial e/ou continuada contribui para o enfrentamento de tais desafios. A metodologia utilizada é de natureza qualitativa, com perspectiva na interpretação construtiva, cujos dados foram obtidos por meio das análises de um questionário disponibilizado aos egressos. De acordo com a construção de núcleos de significação, realizamos as análises e a interpretação dos dados, observando que o trabalho docente resiste às forças opressoras enfrentadas pelos educadores, sobretudo questões desafiadoras que estão relacionadas não apenas ao fazer docente, mas também à própria contrução da identidade do professorç. Estes desafios são vivenciados especialmente pelo professor iniciante, cujo início da carreira muitas vezes é marcado por falta de apoio, seja dos colegas ou da própria gestão da instituição, fazendo-o muitas vezes desistir da carreira ou ir trabalhando conforme for possível. Concluímos, assim, que o desenvolvimento profissional docente não depende apenas de fatores externos, como a formação inicial de professores, mas também de questões relacionadas à própria dinâmica da instituição em que se trabalha, sobretudo do sistema educacional como um todo. Isto é, há de se pensar mais neste profissional docente iniciante, de maneira que este encontre subsídios, dentro das instiuições escolares, por meio de políticas públicas, que possam auxilía-lo, não apenas no início da atividade docente, mas também ao longo de toda a sua trajetória como professor
