Hair loss is a difficult problem that is common to many 'dermatologists'. It is also considered an annoying trouble for females due to the relationship between hair within femininity, beauty and individual strength, and therefore it may cause psychicl trouble for them. especially in the city of Ramadi (Western Iraq), (, there was little attention to it. The study aimed to Validating role of the main physiological of the common causes of hair loss. The study was conducted during the period from March to September, 2022. This study was applied on 80 volunteer women who visited the dermatology clinics in general Ramadi hospital. The blood sample was collected from the patient group (A total of 52 volunteer women with suffering hair loss), along with the control group (28 healthy women) for the purpose of comparison. Serum T3, T4, TSH, Vit D3 and Ferritin level measured by using the Cobase 411(Roche) full –automated mechanics. The result showed 'a significantly lower' level in the concentration of vitamin D3, vitamin B12 and serum ferritin and a significant higher mean in serum concentration of T3 hormone in the group of patients. Additionally, the results exhibited non a significantly different in age, Hb, T4 and TSH of patient group compared to the control group. This study demonstrated the importance of physiological factors might play a major role in the etiology of hair loss between women in the city of Ramadi

    No full text
Nail disorders significantly impact the quality of life for dermatology patients, particularly due to the prolonged duration of these conditions. This study aims to assess the clinical impact of nail disorders, such as onychomycosis and nail dystrophy, on the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) of dermatology patients. Data were collected from 84 patients, aged 30 to 65, with nail disorders in hospitals in Al-Najaf, Iraq, between April 2023 and August 2024. Using questionnaires like Skindex-29 and the General Health Questionnaire, the study examined the emotional, physical, and social aspects of patients' well-being. Results showed that 69.05% of cases were female, with onychomycosis (55 cases) and nail dystrophy (29 cases) as the primary conditions. Patients with nail dystrophy had more severe symptoms and lower social functioning compared to those with onychomycosis. In general health assessments, patients with nail dystrophy also reported slightly lower overall well-being. The findings highlight the importance of addressing both physical and emotional aspects in treating nail disorders to improve patients' quality of life

Сеsarean section is the most common abdominal surgery performed on women nowadays. Despite the fact that the rate of cesarean delivery varies in different countries, the number of cesarean births is still the same worldwide. continues to grow.[1,2]. The number of cesarean births has increased significantly in the last 10 years. Analyzes show that the number of births in the period up to 2030 will continue to increase in the current 10 years. Along with the guidelines, women's willingness to give birth by CS is increasing. In current years, 28.5% of women worldwide give birth by CS (38 million women every year). 7.1% in Sub-Saharan Africa, 63.4%  women in East Asia[3]. The CS operation has become the most unevenly performed surgical procedure around the world[4].CS procedure has become the most performed surgical procedure in uneven form around the world . In the whole world, from 1990 to 2018, the share of CS increased by 19%, according to international studies, it is expected to rise from 21.1% in 2018 to 28.5% by 2030[5]. There is no evidence as to what the optimal delivery method is. Similarly, variations in patient characteristics or preferences, access to medical care, physician behavior, and hospital policies vary among institutions. and there are differences in the percentage of CS between regions[6,7,8,9,10,11,12]. According to the results of studies conducted in order to reduce the number of CS encounters, in a systematic review conducted by Tarloni and colleagues in 2011, 27 different classification systems for CS practice were studied and it was decided that the Robson classification was the most appropriate. [13]. In 2015, WHO adopted the Robson classification as a universal classification to create a joint control system in health systems [14]

    No full text
This paper outlines the synthesis of aromatic amides and isoquinoline derivatives derived from homoveratrylamine. Condensation reactions of homoveratrylamine with cinnamic and mandelic acids gave the corresponding amides in high yields. The cyclization of these amides via the Bischler-Napieralski method facilitated the synthesis of 3,4-dihydro- and tetrahydroisoquinoline derivatives. The synthesized compounds were confirmed through IR and NMR spectroscopy, as well as mass spectrometry. The results highlight the potential of these methods for synthesizing biologically active compounds based on homoveratrylamine
