Detection of Molecular Typing of the Intestinal Parasite E. histolytica in Humans

    No full text
This study was conducted on patients visiting Tikrit Teaching Hospital and some private laboratories in Tikrit from the beginning of January 2023 to the end of December 2023. A total of 220 stool samples were collected, with a percentage of 22.72% positive for Entamoeba histolytica, based on 50 positive microscopic tests. The results demonstrated the success of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technique in amplifying the gene responsible for encoding the Galactose/N-acetyl-D-galactosamine lectin enzyme from E. histolytica samples indicating the method's effectiveness and efficiency in diagnosing the targeted genetic sequence

Study of the Bacterial Efficacy of Some Hg(II) Complexes with S-(thiophene-2-yl)2-((2-hydroxyphenyl)amino) Ethanethiol and Phosphines as Ligands

    No full text
This research involved the use of thiophene-2-thiol as a nucleus to create the ligand S-(thiophene-2-yl)2-((2-hydroxyphenyl)amino)ethanethiol (AZ2), a transition compound in the creation of many complexes. The complexes [[Hg(AZ2)(dppp)]Cl2] and [Hg(AZ2)(dppm)]Cl2] were created by combining the ligand with mercuric chloride and phosphine compounds. The structures of the intended compounds were confirmed by physical and spectroscopic methods such as infrared spectra and proton and carbon nuclear magnetic resonance (1H, 13C, 13P-NMR) spectra. The biological activity was evaluated using antibiotic-resistant bacteria, E. coli, Gram-negative (G-negative), and S. aureus, Gram-positive (G-positive). These organisms were compared with the antibiotic as a control (Controls), amoxicillin. The results showed a practical inhibitory effect against two different types of bacteria and a high degree of efficacy and specificity

Synthesis and Characterization of New Some Imidazole’s Derivatives as Antioxidants

    No full text
This research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of two new imidazole derivatives: 2-methoxy-6-[4-(naphthalen-2-yl)-1-phenyl-1H-imidazol-2-yl] and 2-(4-methylphenyl)-4-(naphthalen-2-yl)-1-phenyl-1H-imidazole. The study aimed to explore their antioxidant properties using DPPH radical scavenging assays. The synthesis was achieved by heating a mixture of 2-bromo-2′-acetonaphthone, primary amine, aldehyde, and ammonium acetate in a solvent-free environment at 130°C. The characterization of the compounds was done using FT-IR, 1H-NMR, and mass spectral analysis. The antioxidant activity was evaluated, and both derivatives demonstrated significant radical scavenging properties, with the second compound showing higher inhibition. The results suggest that these imidazole derivatives are potent antioxidants, which could be beneficial for further medicinal applications

Creation of Novel Heterocyclic Compounds from (Triazole) Derivatives and Assessment of Their Biological Functions

    No full text
Heterocyclic compounds containing a 1,2,4-triazole moiety have attracted significant scientific and medical interest due to their unique structure and wide-ranging applications in drug development, organic synthesis, and chemical biology. Despite their absence in nature, triazole derivatives are integral to various disciplines, yet their potential in antibacterial and antifungal therapies remains underexplored. This study aims to synthesize novel 1,2,4-triazole derivatives by modifying the antibiotic triazole and evaluate their structural and biological properties. Characterization was performed using FTIR, H-NMR, and melting point analyses. The antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus spp., Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and antifungal activity against Candida albicans were tested at concentrations of 250–500 mg/mL. A delayed hypersensitivity skin test confirmed their non-allergenic properties. Results demonstrated significant antimicrobial efficacy, highlighting the potential of 1,2,4-triazoles in developing novel therapeutic agents. Future research should explore their detailed mechanisms of action and broader pharmaceutical applications

Исследование Процессов Пенообразования При Аминной Очистке Газов

    No full text

Zero Forcing of Computer Based GSM Bandwidth Optimization

    No full text
The bandwidth optimization control protocol allows the mobile GSM system to send the information (request) and get the response using two different networks simultaneously. The communication could be provided to the mobile nodes not only by improving the transport layer channel capacity, but also by addressing the problems of the transmission channels and reducing their effects as well eliminating the interference in the Internet layer. This accomplished by using the control protocol technology (Zero Forcing) to improve the bandwidth, options and processes that ensure the correct delivery of request and response information. . In this paper, MBOCP Modified Bandwidth Optimization Control Protocol was introduced using hybrid zero forcing algorithm HZFA. The results of our simulation show that the mobile communication system gets higher and more accurate data rates and uses network resources efficiently compared to using a regular network
