No full textCon el fin de establecer la composición de aves del campus de la Universidad de Ibagué, se llevaron a cabo cinco muestreos sistemáticos visuales, repartidos en 10 meses, lo cual permitió registrar un total de 75 especies, 62 géneros y 26 familias. Se recalcó la presencia de una especie endémica, cinco casi endémicas y nueve migratorias. Estos resultados muestran la importancia del campus universitario para la conservación de las aves locales.In order to establish the bird composition of the campus of the Universidad de Ibagué, five systematic visual samplings were carried out, spread over 10 months, which allowed registering a total of 75 species, 62 genera and 26 families. The presence of an endemic species was emphasized, as well as five almost endemic and nine migratory. These results show the importance of the university campus for the conservation of local birds

El objetivo de este trabajo fue evaluar la descomposición de la hojarasca caída en tres fragmentos de Bs-T, ubicados en los municipios de Venadillo, Ambalema y Armero-Guayabal en el departamento del Tolima.The tropical dry forest is one of the ecosystems with greater importance and diversity worldwide, and also one of the most threatened and affected by agricultural activities. The objective of this work was to evaluate the decomposition of fallen leaf litter in three fragments of tropical dry forests, located in the municipalities of Venadillo, Ambalema and Armero-Guayabal in the department of Tolima
