The paper aims at investigating and intepreting the last typescript of Paolo Volponi's novel Le mosche del Capitale (Einaudi, 1989), preserved at the Einaudi Archive. The form presents stylistic and linguistic variants, in close connection with the structural ones, and cooperates in the understanding of one of the texts that narrates (and peremptorily sanctions) the liquidation of the association between work and capital in the Italian context.L’articolo mira a descrivere e interpretare il movimento variantistico testimoniato dal dattiloscritto per la tipografia del romanzo Le mosche del capitale di Paolo Volponi (Einaudi, 1989), conservato all'Archivio Einaudi.

Concerns about the global meat complex make the debate on the production and consumption of cultivated meat particularly current, involving multiple actors and grafting onto broader reflections regarding climate change, the use of new technologies in the food sector, animal welfare, and the changed relationship between man and food. This novel food presents itself, on paper, as an optimal alternative for the consumer who, without drastically changing his diet, wants to adopt more responsible eating habits, but is, at present, no stranger to profiles of relative uncertainty, in particular, to healthiness for humans.
Should I stay or should I go? Challenges and Opportunities in Music-based Public Engagement
This paper critically reflects on the researcher’s effort to stimulate public engagement around the themes of inclusivity and sustainable tourism through arts-based approaches. This effort resulted in a music show on mobilities, tourism and cultural diversities performed at the IT.A.CÀ festival in Bologna[1]. Here, a songwriting-based celebration of values such as openness and inclusivity was coupled with an attempt to share with a wider audience what are the main challenges of researchers working on sustainable tourism development, thus promoting dialogue and exchange of ideas. Presenting the main obstacles and opportunities encountered, the paper performs a critical evaluation of the intervention with the aim to improve future music-based contribution to the festival I.TA.CÀ and other public engagement occasions.

This article aims to establish afresh the stages of the evolution (c. 1350-c. 1500) of translations into Catalan of classical works useful for the political formation of the nobility and private citizens. The first stage is centred around the royal family (until 1410), via the courts of northern France and Avignon (section 1). In his youth, King Alfonso of Aragon (r. 1416-1458) endeavoured to recover the earlier translations (and the French manuscripts that originated them), but no new Catalan versions of historical works or moral philosophy through royal patronage are recorded (section 2). Instead, from c. 1425 onwards, we witness the growing dissemination of Cicero’s moral treatises (especially De officiis and Paradoxa stoicorum) thanks to the initiative of private citizens; this stage is characterised both by direct Italian influence and the prominent role played by lawyers and other men with school education (section 3). The following section (4) highlights the central role of the newly established court in Naples in 1443 in the formation of several individuals responsible for the publication in Catalan of some snippets of humanistic knowledge (by Pier Candido Decembrio, Guarino de Verona or the Panormita) from 1480. In section 5 the effect (not always positive) of incunabular printing on this output is noted; as an example, a Catalan version of the Liber de vita et moribus philosophorum (Naples 1499), which includes a fragment from Ambrogio Traversari, remained unpublished.
Building type classification using deep learning for transport planning
The transportation and land use sectors are closely interdependent, and real-life circumstances often exhibit substantial reciprocal influences. Currently, efforts are being made to enhance transportation and land use sustainably; hence to achieve sustainability, it is necessary to have well-optimized plans and implementations for the advancements, which consequently leads to an increased demand for vast amounts of data. Conducting manual surveys to collect data on various types of buildings is considerably costly, requires much labor, and is time-consuming. Remote sensing technology has demonstrated significant promise to encompass a greater extent in a reduced timeframe, as well as to engage in thorough data collection and effectively manage and analyze the acquired data. This work centers on constructing a classification system that categorizes buildings depending on their use, specifically distinguishing between residential and non-residential structures. The classification challenge is accomplished through instance segmentation using the state-of-the-art YOLOV8 model architecture and remotely sensed images. The main objective of this project is to create base maps for travel analysis zones (TAZs) using identified buildings. To properly align the output images generated by the model, geographical data is appended to the output images derived from the original input images
Technological applications in sustainable urban logistics: a systematic review with bibliometric analysis
Today, supply chains and logistics operations in urban areas face increasing customer demands for productivity, quality, sustainability and traceability. Traditional methods cannot adequately respond to the rapidly changing challenges and requirements of this sector. Therefore, new methods have been developed to make urban logistics activities more modern, environmentally sensitive and integrated with technology. This research aims to identify sustainable urban logistics and the role of technological applications on urban logistics. In this research, which is designed as a systematic study, firstly, based on the existing literature, the basic concepts, trends, researchers and countries working in the field of sustainable urban logistics are examined by bibliometric analysis method. It is observed that the most frequently used technology applications in sustainable urban logistics are last mile delivery, vehicle routing, optimisation, electric vehicles and crowdsourcing applications. This study is expected to contribute to the development and sustainability of urban logistics
