Creating an alarm system for a smart home with the application of IoT
U ovom završnom radu opisan je postupak dizajniranja, izrade i implementacije alarmnog sustava temeljenog na ESP32 mikroupravljaču. Sustav je opremljen raznim senzorima i komponentama, uključujući zaslon, tipkovnicu, buzzer, temperaturni senzor, RFID modul, napajanje i reed relej. Cilj projekta bio je stvoriti funkcionalan i pouzdan alarmni sustav koji se može daljinski upravljati putem mobilne aplikacije Blynk. Rad započinje opisom IoT tehnologija te teoretskim pregledom komponenti sustava. Praktični dio rada fokusira se na proces povezivanja i programiranja ESP32 mikroupravljača. Detaljno su opisani koraci povezivanja svih komponenti. Poseban dio rada posvećen je izradi i sklapanju kućišta. Kućište je dizajnirano u programu SketchUp i izrađeno od MDF materijala, čime je osigurana zaštita komponenata i kompaktan sustav. U završnom dijelu rada opisana je implementacija Blynk aplikacije, koja omogućuje daljinsko upravljanje i praćenje sustava putem mobilnog uređaja.This thesis describes the process of designing, creating and implementing an alarm system based on the ESP32 microcontroller. The system is equipped with various sensors and components, including a display, keypad, buzzer, temperature sensor, RFID module, power supply, and reed relay. The goal of the project was to create a functional and reliable alarm system that can be remotely controlled via the Blynk mobile application. The thesis begins with a description of IoT technologies and a theoretical overview of the system components. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the process of connecting and programming the ESP32 microcontroller. The steps for connecting all components are described in detail. A special part of the thesis is dedicated to the design and assembly of the enclosure. The enclosure was designed using SketchUp and made from MDF material, ensuring the protection of components and a compact system. The final part of the thesis describes the implementation of the Blynk application, which allows remote control and monitoring of the system via a mobile device
Nursing support in promoting the health of pregnant women
Ovaj rad istražuje važnost sestrinske podrške u promicanju zdravlja trudnica prije poroda, s naglaskom na ulogu medicinskih sestara u podršci prehrani, tjelesnoj aktivnosti, uzimanju lijekova, prevenciji komplikacija, dojenju, mentalnom zdravlju te općoj skrbi majke i djeteta tijekom trudnoće. Uloga medicinske sestre u promicanju zdravlja trudnica obuhvaća edukaciju, savjetovanje, rano prepoznavanje problema te pružanje emocionalne podrške. Njihov multidisciplinarni pristup ključan je za optimizaciju zdravstvenih ishoda majki i djece tijekom trudnoće. Ovaj rad naglašava važnost kontinuirane sestrinske podrške kao ključnog faktora u zdravstvenom sustavu, potičući daljnja istraživanja i implementaciju prakse usmjerene na poboljšanje skrbi za trudnice.
Cilj istraživanja bio je procijeniti utjecaj podrške medicinskih sestara na zdravstvene navike trudnica. Analizirana je veza između redovitosti i kvalitete podrške sestara te informiranosti trudnica o zdravstvenim preporukama i njihovom pridržavanju istih tijekom trudnoće. Također, istražena je povezanost između dobivanja podrške i mjesta stanovanja trudnica, kao i percepcije kvalitete podrške i razine obrazovanja trudnica.
Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da postoji statistički značajna povezanost između redovitosti primljene podrške od medicinskih sestara tijekom trudnoće i informiranosti te pridržavanja preporučenih zdravih navika trudnica. Trudnice koje su često primale podršku i savjete od medicinskih sestara bile su bolje informirane i češće su se pridržavale preporuka u usporedbi s onima koje su rijetko ili povremeno dobivale podršku. Također, statistički značajna veza utvrđena je između razine obrazovanja trudnica i njihove informiranosti te pridržavanja zdravih navika; trudnice s nižom razinom obrazovanja bile su manje informirane i rjeđe su se pridržavale preporuka u odnosu na visokoobrazovane trudnice. Nije utvrđena statistički značajna razlika u redovitosti podrške od medicinskih sestara ovisno o mjestu stanovanja trudnica (ruralno ili urbanom području), što implicira da percepcija i učestalost podrške nisu značajno različite između trudnica koje žive u različitim tipovima područja. U skladu s rezultatima istraživanja, uloga medicinskih sestara kao ključnog izvora podrške tijekom trudnoće naglašava važnost kontinuirane podrške i informiranja za bolje zdravstvene navike budućih majki.This study explores the importance of nursing support in promoting the health of pregnant women before childbirth, focusing on the role of nurses in supporting nutrition, physical activity, medication use, complication prevention, breastfeeding, mental health, and overall maternal and child care during pregnancy. The role of nurses in promoting maternal health includes education, counseling, early problem recognition, and providing emotional support. Their multidisciplinary approach is crucial for optimizing health outcomes for mothers and children during pregnancy. This paper emphasizes the significance of continuous nursing support as a key factor in the healthcare system, encouraging further research and the implementation of practices aimed at improving care for pregnant women.
The aim of the research was to assess the impact of nursing support on the health habits of pregnant women. It analyzed the relationship between the frequency and quality of nurse support and pregnant women's awareness of health recommendations and adherence to them during pregnancy. Additionally, it explored the connection between receiving support and pregnant women's residential location, as well as the perception of support quality and the educational level of pregnant women.
Research results indicate a statistically significant correlation between the frequency of nursing support received during pregnancy and the awareness and adherence to recommended healthy habits among pregnant women. Those who received frequent support and advice from nurses were better informed and more likely to adhere to recommendations compared to those who received support infrequently or occasionally. Additionally, a statistically significant association was found between the educational level of pregnant women and their awareness of and adherence to healthy habits; pregnant women with lower educational levels were less informed and less likely to adhere to recommendations compared to those with higher education. Moreover, there was no statistically significant difference in the frequency of nursing support based on pregnant women's residential location (rural or urban areas), suggesting that the perception and frequency of support did not significantly differ among pregnant women residing in different types of areas. Consistent with the research findings, the role of nurses as a crucial source of support during pregnancy underscores the importance of continuous support and information for better health habits among future mothers

Komunikacija je ključna u prodaji jer pomaže u izgradnji snažnih odnosa s kupcima i kolegama što ubrzava sklapanje poslova dok kupcima pruža prilagođena rješenja koja zadovoljavaju njihove potrebe, a koja rezultiraju zadovoljnim kupcima za koje je vjerojatnije da će kupovati u budućnosti. Prodajno treniranje je proces ocjenjivanja i mentorstva prodavača jedan na jedan kako bi se poboljšala prodajna izvedba i potaknuo dosljedan uspjeh u prodaji. Učinkovit program obučavanja prodaje koji vode voditelji prodaje i menadžeri pomaže predstavnicima da sami dijagnosticiraju nedostatke, omogućujući im da preuzmu veću odgovornost za svoju izvedbu i poboljšaju svoje rezultate. U radu je provedeno istraživanje zaposlenika poduzeća Lesnina XXXL i to iz Hrvatske, Slovenije i Srbije. Ispitanici su trebali odgovoriti na pitanja o edukacijama zaposlenika u svom poduzeću, odnosno coachingu u njihovom poduzeću, te coaching trenerima i zadovoljstvu istim. Rezultati istraživanja su potvrdili da coaching razgovori utječu na bolju komunikaciju zaposlenika, da bi coach trebao imati sposobnost praćenja, analiziranja i planiranja, da bi se trebali susretati s coachom i obaviti razgovor barem dva puta mjesečno, da se kod stranaka/klijenata u poslovnicama pažnja najviše pobudi postavljanjem otvorenih pitanja, da dugoročno gledano natprosječno uspješnog prodavača čini pozitivan stav (prema tvrtki/kolegama/timu, nadređenome/kupcima), da im je edukacija važna u njihovom poslu te njihova tvrtka ulaže puno više u znanje i edukaciju zaposlenika nego konkurencija.Communication is key in sales because it helps build strong relationships with customers and colleagues that accelerate business closings while providing customers with customized solutions that meet their needs, resulting in satisfied customers who are more likely to buy in the future. Sales coaching is a process that involves organized coaching of sales representatives to help them improve their skills, performance and achieve sales goals. As with sales, coaching is an exercise in communication, persuasion and change management. For a coach to excel at this, he must be able to conduct masterful and nuanced conversations. In the paper, a survey was made of the employees of the company Lesnina XXXL from Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia.. Respondents had to answer questions about employee training in their company, i.e. coaching in their company, and coaching trainers and satisfaction with them. The results of the research confirmed that coaching conversations affect better employee communication, that the coach should have the ability to monitor, analyze and plan, that he should meet with the coach and have an interview at least twice a month, that the clients/clients in the branches receive the most attention by raising open questions, that in the long term, an above-average successful salesperson has a positive attitude (towards companies/colleagues/team, supervisor/customers), that education is important to them in their work, and that their company requires much more knowledge and employee education than the competition
Organization of the construction of a residential building in Lopatinec
Tema završnog rada obuhvaća izgradnju nove stambene građevine u naselju Lopatinec. Zadatak
je izraditi projekt organizacije građenja građevinskih radova na objektu. U radu je detaljno obrađen
tehnički opis predmetne građevine. Opisana je tehnologija građenja građevinskih radova,
pojedinačno za zemljane, za betonske i armiranobetonske radove, za izolacijske, za zidarske i za
tesarske radove. Izrađena je shema gradilišta, analize jediničnih cijena i vremenski plan izvođenja
iz kojeg je vidljivo koliko vremenski traje pojedina aktivnost te koliko je ukupno vrijeme izvođenja
građevinskih radova na stambenoj građevini u Lopatincu.The topic of the final work includes the construction of a new residential building in the
Lopatinec settlement. The task is to create a project for the organization of construction works on
the building. The technical description of the subject building is detailed in the paper. The
construction technology of construction works is described, individually for earthworks, for
concrete and reinforced concrete works, for insulation, for masonry and for carpentry works. A
scheme of the construction site, analysis of unit prices and a time plan of execution were drawn up,
from which it is visible how long each activity lasts and how long is the total time of execution of
construction works on a residential building in Lopatinac
Bobath concept after cerebrovascular insult
Cerebrovaskularni inzult ili moždani udar godinama je veliki vodeći zdravstveni problem zbog teških i nekada po život opasnim posljedicama. Bobath koncept holistički je pristup u rehabilitaciji koja ima za cilj poboljšati funkcionalnost i kvalitetu života nakon moždanog udara. Razvili su ga Bertha i Karl Bobath i temelji se na neuroplastičnosti mozga i sposobnosti mozga da se može mijenjati, pregrađivati i ponovno prilagoditi. Nakon preboljelog moždanog udara pacijenti se suočavaju sa raznim problemima na svim sustavima tijela. Tu su uključeni problemi sa govorom i komuniciranjem, problemi gutanja i žvakanja, promjene u lokomotornim funkcijama, promjene mišićnog tonusa koji uključuju spastične ili flakcidne mišiće, problemi osjeta ili potpuni gubitak osjeta, problemi koordinacije, ravnoteže i balansa te mnogi drugi. Kao takav, Bobath koncept izrazito je zastupljen u rehabilitaciji pacijenta nakon moždanog udara, jer se prilagođava pojedincu. Uzima u obzir stupanj oštećenja i na temelju toga prilagođava i planira ciljeve rehabilitacije. Sredstvo primjene Bobath koncepta su ruke i važno je pravilno rukovanje i pravilna tehnika kojom ćemo facilitirati ili inhibirati pojedine dijelove tijela u procesu rehabilitacije. Cilj je ponovno uspostaviti kontrolu pokreta, vraćanje kontrole balansa i koordinacije i najbitnije vratiti funkcionalne sposobnosti. Dio primjene kroz Bobath koncept je primjena funkcionalnog treninga. On uključuje pravilnu primjenu pokreta, pravilan broj ponavljanja, pravilan intenzitet podražaja i važno je uključiti primjenu motoričkih funkcija svakodnevnih života. Kroz rehabilitaciju važan je kontinuirani rad i kada se ne provodi ciljano funkcionalni trening, praćenje napretka u terapijskom planu i prilagodba stupnja rehabilitacije. U tom pristupu važan je i tim sa ostalim stručnjacima koji zajedno sa fizioterapeutom radi na zajedničkom cilju.Cerebrovascular insult or stroke has been a major leading health problem for years due to severe and sometimes life-threatening consequences. The Bobath concept is a holistic approach in rehabilitation that aims to improve functionality and quality of life after a stroke. It was developed by Bertha and Karl Bobath and is based on the neuroplasticity of the brain and the brain's ability to be able to change, restructure and re-adapt. After suffering a stroke, patients face various problems on all systems of the body. These include problems with speech and communication, swallowing and chewing problems, changes in locomotor functions, changes in muscle tone that include spastic or flaccid muscles, sensation problems or complete loss of sensation, problems of coordination, balance and balance, and many others. As such, the Bobath concept is distinctly represented in the rehabilitation of the patient after a stroke, as it adapts to the individual. It takes into account the degree of damage and adjusts and plans rehabilitation goals based on it. The means of applying the Bobath concept are hands and it is important to properly handle and proper technique by which we will facilitate or inhibit individual parts of the body in the rehabilitation process. The goal is to regain control of movement, restore balance control and coordination, and most importantly restore functional abilities. Part of the application through the Bobath concept is the application of functional training. It involves the correct application of movements, the correct number of repetitions, the correct intensity of stimuli and it is important to include the application of motor functions of everyday life. Through rehabilitation, continuous work is important even when targeted functional training is not carried out, monitoring progress in the therapeutic plan and adjusting the degree of rehabilitation. In this approach, a team with other experts is also important, working together with a physioterapist on a common goal
Application of artificial intelligence in the processing of materials for graphic design purposes
U ovom završnom radu analizirana je primjena umjetne inteligencije u grafičkom dizajnu kroz alate Adobe Photoshopa i Adobe Illustratora. Fokus je bio na istraživanju funkcionalnosti poput Neural Filters, alata za generiranje, alata za uklanjanje pozadine i označenih elemenata, Image Trace, alata za pronalazak fontova te alata za mockup. Kroz analizu rezultata, uočene su prednosti i mane u korištenju ovih alata, te potreba za ručnom intervencijom radi postizanja što boljih rezultata. Za razumijevanje rada, u teorijskom dijelu objašnjeni su ključni pojmovi kao što su grafički dizajn, multimedija, umjetna inteligencija i vrste umjetne inteligencije. Također je opisana kratka prošlost i ponuda tvrtke Adobe. Praktični dio rada sadrži tekstualni i vizualni opis procesa slika kako bi se što lakše shvatili rezultati u poglavlju s analizom. Zaključak prikazuje dobivene spoznaje, navodi prednosti i mane u kratkom obliku te govori o potencijalnoj budućnosti alata.This final paper analyzes the application of artificial intelligence in graphic design through the tools of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. The focus was on exploring functionalities such as Neural Filters, generation tools, background removal and selection tools, Image Trace, font finding tools, and mockup tools. Through the analysis of results, advantages and disadvantages in using these tools were identified, as well as the need for manual intervention to achieve better results. To understand the paper, the theoretical part explains key concepts such as graphic design, multimedia, artificial intelligence, and types of artificial intelligence. Additionally, a brief history and the offerings of the Adobe company are described. The practical part of the paper includes both textual and visual descriptions of the process using images to facilitate understanding of the results in the results analysis chapter. The conclusion presents the acquired insights, lists advantages and disadvantages briefly, and discusses the potential future of the tools
The influence of digital marketing channels on the business in the construction sector of the Republic of Croatia
Svrha ovog rada je upoznati čitatelja sa suvremenim digitalnim marketinškim komunikacijskim
kanalima, njihovim obilježjima i prednostima koje mogu donijeti poduzeću u poslovnom
okruženju i tržištu na kojem se nalazi s naglaskom na građevinskih sektor u Republici Hrvatskoj i
poduzeća koja djeluju na tom tržištu. Trenutno se nalazimo u poslovnom okruženju čije je
najvažnije obilježje digitalnost. Poduzeća i poduzetnici moraju donositi odluke brže nego ikada.
Moć interneta omogućila je potrošačima brži i jednostavniji način pomoću kojih dolaze do
zadovoljenja svojih potreba u obliku, pretraživanja informacija, njihovu obradu, interpretaciju i
donošenje konačnih odluka, npr. kupovine stana. Isto tako Internet je omogućio poduzećima koji
nude svoje usluge ili proizvode inovativnije načine prezentacije prema klijentima. Velike promjene
se više ne događaju na godišnjoj ili mjesečnoj bazi, nego već i na dnevnoj. Pravovremeno
prepoznavanje i reagiranje na prilike ili prijetnje je nešto što je ključno za rast i opstanak. Digitalni
marketing koristi elektroničke kanale za prezentaciju proizvoda ili usluga na tržištu. Glavni cilj
digitalnih marketinških kanala je privlačenje kupaca i omogućavanje interakcije s brandom putem
digitalnih medija. Strategije digitalnog marketinga temelje se na načelima tradicionalnih oblika
marketinga i usvajaju ih, koristeći mogućnosti i izazove koje nudi digitalni kanali.Ovaj rad ističe
važnost digitalnog marketinga kako za poduzeća tako i potrošače. Istražujemo učinak digitalnog
marketinga na prodaju. Osim toga, biti će objašnjene razlike između tradicionalnog pristupa
marketinga i digitalnog marketinga.The purpose of this paper is to acquaint the reader with contemporary digital marketing
communication channels, their characteristics, and the advantages they can bring to a company in
the business environment and market it operates in, with a focus on the construction sector in the
Republic of Croatia and the companies operating in that market. We are currently in a business
environment characterized by its most important feature—digitization. Companies and
entrepreneurs must make decisions faster than ever. The power of the internet has enabled
consumers to have a faster and simpler way to meet their needs, such as searching for information,
processing it, interpreting it, and making final decisions, for example, buying a property. Similarly,
the internet has allowed companies offering their services or products to present them in more
innovative ways to clients. Significant changes are no longer happening on an annual or monthly
basis but even on a daily basis. Timely recognition and response to opportunities or threats are
crucial for growth and survival. Digital marketing utilizes electronic channels to present products
or services in the market. The main goal of digital marketing channels is to attract customers and
enable interaction with the brand through digital media. Digital marketing strategies are based on
the principles of traditional forms of marketing, adopting them and using the opportunities and
challenges offered by digital channels. This paper highlights the importance of digital marketing
for both companies and consumers. We explore the impact of digital marketing on sales.

The influence of organizational culture on the image of preschool institutions
Svaka organizacija ima svoju kulturu. Ovim radom Utjecaj organizacijske kulture
na imidž predškolske ustanove dan je uvid na koji način organizacijska kultura
pridonosi razvoju imidža predškolske ustanove. Suvremene predškolske ustanove
okrenute su kvaliteti i suvremenom shvaćanju djeteta kroz nove paradigme odgoja.
U demokratski ustrojenim predškolskim ustanovama moć i odgovornost
raspodijeljene su na sve dionike procesa odgoja i obrazovanja. Profesionalno
partnerstvo svih zaposlenika kroz kvalitetnu komunikaciju pridonosi razvoju imidža
ustanove.
Organizacijska kultura i identitet ustanove temeljno je polazište ka ostvarenju dobre
reputacije i imidža ustanove. Kroz navedena poglavlja u radu opisani su faktori
pomoću kojih se ostvaruju kriteriji za dobar imidž.
Provedeno je istraživanje na ispitanicima koji su zaposleni u ustanovama za rani i
predškolski odgoj te su u anketnim pitanjima izrazili svoje mišljenje o utjecaju
organizacijske kulture na imidž predškolske ustanove. Iz tog istraživanja donijet je
zaključak ovog rada.Every organization has its own culture. This paper, „The Influence of
Organizational Culture on the Image of a Preschool Institution“, provides an insight
into how organizational culture contributes to the development of the image of a
preschool institution. Modern preschool institutions are focused on quality and modern
understanding of the child through new paradigms of education.
In democratic preschool institutions, power and responsibility are distributed to all
stakeholders in the education process. The professional partnership of all employees
through quality communication contributes to the development of the institution's
image.
The organizational culture and identity of the institution is the fundamental starting
point for achieving a good reputation and image of the institution. Through the
mentioned chapters, the factors used to achieve the criteria for a good image are
described in the work.
Research was conducted on respondents who are employed in institutions for early
and preschool education, and in survey questions they expressed their opinion about
the influence of organizational culture on the image of preschool institutions. The
conclusion of this paper was drawn from that research
The application of vertical and oblique aerial photographs in the creation of 3D models and digital orthophoto maps
Razvojem znanosti i tehnologije, raste potražnja za geoprostornim podacima. Ubrzani razvoj instrumenata i metoda korištenih u geodetske svrhe potaknuo je sve veću upotrebu 3D modela za prikaz objekata te digitalnih ortofoto karata (DOF) za prikaz tla. U današnje vrijeme, za dobivanje zračnih snimki, odnosno aerosnimki, najčešće se koriste bespilotne letjelice. Ovim završnim radom istražuje se kvaliteta digitalnog ortofota (DOF) i 3D modela dobivenog temeljem fotogrametrijske izmjere bespilotnom letjelicom iz vertikalnih i kosih aerosnimki. Rad pruža cjelokupan postupak prikupljanja i obrade podataka u svrhu kreiranja ovih proizvoda, ali i informacije o bespilotnim letjelicama i GNSS prijemnicima. Osim toga, u radu su opisane metode prikupljanja vertikalnih i kosih aerosnimki zajedno sa njihovom geometrijom i primjenom. Također, na konkretnim primjerima 3D modela i DOF-a, dobivenih pomoću Agisoft Metashape softvera, omogućeno je donošenje odluka ili daljnja primjena dobivenih rezultata.With the development of science and technology the demand for geospatial data also grows. The rapid development of instruments and methods used for geodetic purposes has encouraged the increasing use of 3D models for the representation of objects and digital orthophoto maps (DOF) used for the representation of terrain. Today, drones are most often used to obtain aerial photographs. In this final paper, the quality of the digital orthophoto (DOF) and 3D model obtained on the basis of photogrammetric measurement by an unmanned aerial vehicle from vertical and oblique aerial photographs is examined. The work provides the entire process of collecting and processing data for the needs of creating these products, but also information about unmanned aerial vehicles and GNSS receivers. In addition, the paper describes the methods of collecting vertical and oblique aerial photographs, as well as their geometry and application. Also, on concrete examples of 3D models and DOFs, obtained using the Agisoft Metashape software, it is possible to make decisions or further apply the obtained results
Information of the general population about osteoporosis
Uvod i cilj: Prije tridesetak godina osteoporoza nije opisana kao bolest te je smatrana neželjenom posljedicom prirodnog procesa starenja. Tijekom godina pretpostavke liječnika u liječenju osteoporoze postale su točne. Danas zahvaljujući njima osteoporozu je moguće spriječiti. Dolazeće generacije imati će znatno manje prijeloma kostiju, boli i invalidnosti koje nastaju kao posljedica osteoporoze u usporedbi sa generacijama u prošlosti. Riječ osteoporoza dolazi iz grčkog rječnika te se prevodi ''porozne kosti''. Naziv je prikladan za opis procesa koji se zbiva u kostima. Osteoporoza u literaturama opisuje se kao bolest koja zahvaća kosti te kao posljedica dolazi do krhkih kostiju koje postaju sklone prijelomima. Cilj istraživanja bio je dobiti uvid u informiranost opće populacije o pojmu osteoporoza, namirnice koje populacija konzumira te učestalost tjelesne aktivnosti kako bi se daljnje usporedilo koliko se informiranost slaže sa svakodnevnim navikama.
Metode: Istraživanje je provedeno u razdoblju od 03.04.2024.g. do 20.04.2024.g. putem online ankete postavljene na društvene mreže. Statistička analiza dobivenih podataka provedena je u programu Microsoft Excel. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 325 sudionika.
Rezultati: Istraživanje je pokazalo da je informiranost opće populacije o osteoporozi vrlo dobro te je u skladu sa svakodnevnim navikama sudionika.
Zaključak: Osteoporoza svakako mijenja način života i razmišljanja osobe te postavlja neka ograničenja. No, kvaliteta života je i dalje u rukama osobe kojoj je bolest dijagnosticirana. Ona ovisi o mogućnosti prilagođavanja novonastalim situacijama. Pravilna prilagodba novih životnih navika određuje stupanj neovisnosti osobe.Introduction and goal: Thirty years ago, osteoporosis was not described as a disease and was considered an unwanted consequence of the natural aging process. Over the years, the assumptions of doctors in the treatment of osteoporosis have become correct. Today, thanks to them, osteoporosis can be prevented. Future generations will experience significantly fewer bone fractures, pain and disability resulting from osteoporosis compared to generations past. The word osteoporosis comes from the Greek dictionary and translates as "porous bones". The name is suitable to describe the process that takes place in the bones. Osteoporosis is described in the literature as a disease that affects the bones, resulting in brittle bones that become prone to fractures. The goal of the research was to get an insight into the awareness of the general population about the concept of osteoporosis, the foods that the population consumes and the frequency of physical activity in order to further compare the extent to which awareness agrees with everyday habits.
Methods: The research was conducted in the period from April 3, 2024. until April 20, 2024. through an online survey posted on social networks. The statistical analysis of the obtained data was performed in the Microsoft Excel program. 325 participants took part in the research.
Results: The research showed that the information of the general population about osteoporosis is very good and is in line with the daily habits of the participants.
Conclusion: Osteoporosis definitely changes a person's way of life and thinking and sets some limitations. However, the quality of life is still in the hands of the person diagnosed with the disease. It depends on the ability to adapt to new situations. Proper adaptation to new life habits determines the degree of a person's independence
