For Electric Vehicles with Hybrid Energy Sources, a Switched-Capacitor Bidirectional DC-DC Converter with a Wide Voltage Gain Range
An exchanged capacitor bidirectional DC-DC converter with a high advance up/step-down voltage gain is proposed for electric vehicles (EVs) with a half breed vitality source framework (HESS). The converter displayed has the benefits of being a basic circuit, a diminished number of parts, a wide voltage-gain extend, a low voltage stress, and a shared opinion. An approach for robust digital image watermarking using DWTPCA
A complete approach for watermarking is presented in this System, by using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). There are some watermarking techniques like DCT, DWT, and DWT-SVD, but there is a disadvantage in the watermarking to withstand attacks. Hence the new digital image watermarking algorithm is proposed which provide robust watermarking with minimal amount of distortion in case of attacks. DWT offers scalability and PCA helps in diminishing relationship among the wavelet coefficients acquired from wavelet disintegration of each square in this manner scattering the watermark bits into the interrelated coefficient. Peak signal-tonoise ratio (PSNR) is used as a measure for invisibility in watermarked image. The higher value of PSNR indicates the better invisibility of watermark. whereas similarity between two images by normalized correlation coefficient test the transparency and robustness against various attacks like cropping, noise, rotation, filtering etc. The proposed system should provide the recoverable watermark without any reasonable amount of distortion even in case of attacks
 
Utilization of IoT and Image Processing to Create a Smart Vehicle Registry
Abstract:Everything is being automated in the contemporary technological age because of many technologies. An automated Smart Vehicle Registry with zero human intervention is constantly needed. With the help of a single automated system, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and Image Processing, a vehicle and its driver may be registered as they enter a designated zone. Various efforts in the fields of RFID and image processing are reviewed in this article. The proposed system consists of an RFID system that can be used to scan the person driving the vehicle, and Image processing system that includes a camera and an open-source library to scan and record the vehicle registration plate number, and a front end that manages the input and output flow of the system. The system described in this work is designed such that analysis of the output data may be conducted quickly and simply. Additionally, this article analyses the numerous results and future tasks that may be done to enhance the system in detail.
 
Using Benchmarking to Advance Research: A Challenge to Software Engineering
Benchmarks have been used in computer science to compare the performance of computer systems, information retrieval algorithms, databases, and many other technologies. The creation and widespread use of a benchmark within a research area is frequently accompanied by rapid technical progress and community building. These observations have led us to formulate a theory of benchmarking within scientific disciplines. Based on this theory, we challenge software engineering research to become more scientific and cohesive by working as a community to define benchmarks. In support of this challenge, we present a case study of the reverse engineering community, where we have successfully used benchmarks to advance the state of research

We hope that this overview of parametric AE techniques for concrete structures will assist researchers and engineers better understand concrete failure mechanisms and devise new methodologies for structural diagnostic inspection and concrete structure failure prediction/prevention
Depression Detection On Social Media Data Using Naive Bayes, CNN And Flask
Suicide is considered as a serious social health issues that exists in today's culture. Suicidal ideation, also known as suicidal thoughts, refers to people's plans to commit suicide. It can be used as a suicide risk measure. India stands in top countries in the world to have annual suicide rate. Social networks have been developed as a first-rate factor for its users to communicate with their interested buddies and proportion their captions, photos, and videos reflecting their moods, emotions and sentiments. To increase and put in force a version which takes a facial expression images as an enter and symptoms. On the basis of that it predicts the repute of that patient whether or not he/she has been detected or now not detected for depressed. We can train version using photographs & will use it for prediction. Image captioning can be accomplished after prediction for higher visualization of report. Non-Invasive Blood Glucose Meter
The glucose concentration in the range from 111-330 mg/dl represents a diabetic patient. it causes physical impairment of vital organs. presently, non-invasive blood glucose monitoring device that uses the blood dielectric and impedance properties is becoming popular for diabetes detection. a realistic reusable low-cost non-invasive glucose meter is developed using wi-fi module. it measures glucose level based on the permittivity changes in human blood with sub-carriers. each sub-carrier is spaced with 312.5 khz bandwidth, generating 64 amplitudes and phases is used for channel estimation. a hampel filter is used to suppress abrupt amplitude variations occurring due to the environment effects. the system is trained using ml.net fast forest quantile regression method. the accuracy obtained is around 90%.
 
Petrographic classification and Provenance study of Bhander Sandstones of the Vindhyan Supergroup, in the N-W Part of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India
Detailed field, petrographic and modal study of the sedimentary sequence of Bhander Group of the Vindhyan Supergroup explains that these sedimentary rocks deposited under shallow marine condition are the quartz arenites dominantly composed of quartz, presence of overgrowth and irregular and circlular inclusions in the quartz grains indicate the probably source of these sediments as falsic igneous rocks. The Modal analysis (QFL) data plotted on ternary plots also suggest the probable source of these rocks as craton anterior / continental block provenance
REVIEW ON FORENSIC ANALYSIS OF HAIR BY SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPE IN DOMESTIC AND WILD ANIMALS
Analysis and Identification of hair is the most complex and distinct aspect in the field of forensics.The examination of animal hair is a ubiquitous discipline in wildlife forensics. Examination is largely based on microscopy, which enables the hair analyst in identification of hair as animal in origin, to distinguish the hair to a particular species, and to conduct comparative examinations. Analysis of animal remains, e.g. hair at a crime scene helps to provide evidence for contact of a suspected assailant and diagnosing drug expose. The cuticular pattern, cross section and medullary index provides information on the domestic and wild species of the animal. The present study was conducted to investigate some morphological features of hair samples of domesticated and wild animal species using scanning electron microscopy for their identification. Solving Generalized groupings problems in Cellular manufacturing systems by genetic algorithms
: Cell formation problem consists of identifying machine groups and part families. Generalized grouping problem have more than one process plans and or process routes. In non-heierarchical methods all decisions are made simultaneously and in heierchical methods decisions are made in stages. Because of complexity of the generalized problem, solving large size problems using simultaneous approach becomes difficult. The grouping problem assumes a particular structure depending on the objectives and the constraints. The mathematical models of generalized grouping are found to be either NP-complete or hard to solve. Since even the relaxed version of grouping problem is NP-complete, it is unlikely that the optimal solution to the problem can be found efficiently. Genetic Algorithm is largely used for solving problems in cellular manufacturing. In this paper, a model is developed to solve the generalized grouping problem considering alternative process plans. Several design and manufacturing parameters such as production volume, process sequence, machine capacity, processing time, machine duplication, number of cells and cell size are considered. The objective function minimizes intercellular movements and number of exceptional elements. A procedure based on genetic algorithms to solve the problem in two phases has been demonstrated. In the first phase it finds the process routes and in the next it forms grouping of machines. The algorithm coded in C++ was tested on Windows workstation. The objective to form cells and part families was based on a double grouping (operations and machines). The final solution is a proposition of machine cells defining part families. The algorithm is really fast and allows trying different configurations for the set of data and different alternatives of the weights for all criteria. It can be useful in solving large size grouping problems
