    UBLS - USER-BASED LOCATION SELECTION SCHEME FOR PRESERVING LOCATION PRIVACY

    Due to the wide availability of location-based services (LBSs) that enable many applications to provide user tailored services, it becomes possible to trace the locations of an individual by an adversary, especially when the LBS server is distrusted, which violates the user’s privacy. Therefore, we propose, in this project, a user-based location selection scheme (UBLS) to hide the users’ locations using k-anonymity to preserve users’ privacy. The proposed scheme uses the concept of dummy locations to hide the real locations of the users, but on top of that, it selects the dummy locations based on the users that exist in these locations. Moreover, we propose an attacker location exclusion (ALE) algorithm that can be used to attack the existing location privacy-preserving schemes. We also propose a new metric, namely location privacy level (LPL), to qualify the ability of the malicious LBS server to reduce the privacy level of the requester. Our envisioned UBLS scheme is evaluated with extensive computer-based simulations. Comparing to the existing schemes in the literature that preserve location privacy, our proposed UBLS demonstrates performance improvement in terms of entropy, cloaking region, and location privacy level metrics

    Brain tumor is the main threat among the people. But currently, it become more advanced because of the many Machine Learning techniques. Magnetic Resonance Imaging is the greatest technique among all the image processing techniques which scans the human body and gives a clear resolution of the tumors in an improved quality image. The fundamentals of MRI are to develop images based on magnetic field and radio waves of the anatomy of the body. The major area of segmentation of images is medical image processing. Better results are provided by MRI images than CT scan, Xrays etc. Nowadays the automatic tumor detection in large spatial and structural variability. Recently Convolutional Neural Network plays an important role in medical field and computer vision. One of its application is the identification of brain tumor. Here, the pre-processing technique is used to convert normal images to grayscale values because it contains equal intensity but in MRI, RGB content is included. Then filtering is used to remove the unwanted noises using median and high pass filter for better quality of images. The deeper architecture design in CNN is performed using small kernels. Finally, the effect of using this network for segmentation of tumor from MRI images is evaluated with better results

The integration of a camera allows for real-time video streaming, enabling firefighters to assess the situation and make informed decisions from a safe distance. The pump system, coupled with a water reservoir, facilitates the robot's ability to extinguish fires by spraying water or fire retardants. The mechanical design, control architecture, and sensor integration of the firefighting robot are discussed in detail, highlighting its key features and functionalities.     The design and development of a 2-wheel drive track spy robot arise from the increasing demand for advanced surveillance systems in various domains such as military operations, security applications, and exploration missions. There is a need for a compact and agile robot that can navigate challenging terrains, gather visual and auditory information discreetly, and transmit data in real-time. The existing surveillance technologies often face limitations in terms of mobility, stealth, and adaptability to diverse environments. The two-wheel drive track spy robot aims to overcome these limitations by leveraging the advantages of a compact, track-based design. This enables enhanced manoeuvrability over rough surfaces, noise reduction, and the ability to traverse obstacles efficiently. By designing and developing a 2-wheel drive track spy robot, it is expected to provide a cost-effective and versatile solution for surveillance and reconnaissance applications. The resulting system will enable improved situational awareness, reduced risks to human operators, and enhanced operational capabilities in both civilian and military scenarios

    Among the most prevalent digestive disorders are gallbladder and biliary diseases (GBDs). As people's diets havechanged and medical diagnostic technology has advanced steadily, links between GBDs and several other organs haveprogressively come to light. Cholecardiasyndrome, which targets the heart as a major target for GBD problems, hasreceived particular attention. Nevertheless, there is currently no comprehensive study on the pathophysiology andaccompanying clinical symptoms. Arrhythmia, myocardial damage, acute coronary syndrome, and heart failure are allprevalent in the general population, according to this study, which included the most current reports of cholecardiasyndrome types. Additionally, the clinical diagnostic rate of Alagille syndrome linked to gene mutation and intrahepaticcholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) is rising. Thus, more information was provided on the underlying pathophysiology,which included aberrant bile acid secretion, gene mutation, translocation, and deletion (JAG1, NOTCH2, ABCG5/8,and CYP7A1), nerve reflex, and autonomic neuropathy.     Geo-morphological Mapping for Land Resource Assessment Around Bagh village of Dhar District, Madhya Pradesh, India Using Remote Sensing and GIS Techniques

    This study presents a geomorphological mapping using IRS-P6 LISS-III satellite data approximately 885 sq. km area around Bagh village, Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh has been mapped. Visual image interpretation technique has been employed to identify and delineate various geomorphic features based on tone, texture, size, shape and color extracted from false color composition LISS-III sensor images. The study is aimed at classifying such geomorphic units as pediplains, pediments, buttes, mesas and plateaus. The integration of remote sensing and GIS facilitates a time and cost-effective methodology to achieve the objectives of the study. Field verification of this produced maps was conducted to validate the interpretation results. The findings contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the geomorphology of the study area. The study area exhibits the following geomorphic features: Buttes (0.12 sq. km.), Mesas (0.83 sq. km.), Plateaus (less dissected) 11.93 sq. km., Plateaus (moderately dissected) 334.02 sq. km., water bodies proximately 14.13 sq. km., Pediments span 210.93 sq. km. and Pediplains cover a significant area (313.05 sq. km.

    The significance of encoding strategies in communication systems cannot be overstated, with methods such as Manchester and FM0 encoding playing crucial roles in various applications. Each strategy exhibits distinct operations tailored to specific requirements. This paper introduces the Similarity-Oriented Logic Simplification technique (SOLS), which integrates design and synchronizes tasks, coupled with the use of Differential Manchester Encoding (DSRC) to maintain DC balance and signal reliability. The combination of these techniques aims to reduce the number of transistors and preserve DC balance. The current work focuses on achieving an integrated design of FM0 and Manchester encoding to address shortcomings in traditional methods. This approach results in a reduction in the number of hardware components, consequently minimizing the overall area occupied by additional functionality in Dedicated Short-Range Communication (DSRC) systems

    EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON REINFORCED CONCRETE COLUMN STRENGTHENED WITH FERROCEMENT JACKET

    : This investigates the behavior of ferro-cement encased square reinforced concrete (RC) column subjected to monotonically increasing the small eccentric load or axially. Three different types of square jacketing techniques have been studied experimentally to find out the effectiveness of ferro-cement confinement of RC columns against eccentric loading. Six scaled down ferro-cement jacketed specimens (two from each group) and two non jacketed scale down specimens (square column) were tested for this purpose. The result obtained from this study show that the benchmark specimens (column without firrocement encasement) fail with non ductile mode of failure when the load reaches to its peak value, however incase of jacketed specimens load carrying capacity and ductility performance are obtained to be more than those obtained from bench mark specimen
