Морфологічні й анатомічні показники листків Forsythia suspensa (Thunb.) Vahl в умовах міського середовища

    No full text
The anatomical and morphological parameters of the leaf blade of Forsythia suspensa were investigated to determine the species’ stability in the Kyiv metropolis (Ukraine) conditions and monitor environmental pollution. The leaves of F. suspensa were selected at four monitoring sites in Kyiv, which differed in their distance to highways and the intensity of traffic. The histological structure of F. suspensa leaves changed toward xeromorphism in the variants where plants were exposed to increased vehicles’ emissions. In particular, the thickness of the cuticle and adaxial epidermis increased, the stomatal size decreased, the degree of stomata opening decreased and their density increased, and the stomatal index and xeromorphism index increased. In general, such changes in the structure of F. suspensa leaves increased the plants’ resistance to pollution. This indicates the plasticity of F. suspensa plants and a sufficient level of their adaptation to the urban environment. Hence, the parameters of the stomatal apparatus of F. suspensa leaves can be applied as test indicators for biomonitoring of urban pollution. This species can be recommended for creating stable culturphytocoenoses in conditions of a high level of technogenic influence

Allium ursinum L. (Amaryllidaceae) – новий вид для флори НПП “Пирятинський”

    No full text
In Ukraine, Allium ursinum is a rare species of the state level of conservation, isolated locations of which occur very rarely on the territory of the left bank of the river Dnipro. A new location discovered on the territory of National Nature Park “Pyriatynskyi” is isolated and confined to the floodplain gallery forest of the association Alnion incanae Pawłowski et al. 1928. On the territory of the Nature Park “Pyriatynskyi”, the species is represented by a small, incomplete population with a left-sided spectrum. Considering the chorology of the species in the region and the demographic characteristics of the population, this new locality was most likely formed as a result of the recent accidental introduction of the species from the northern enclaves of the Chernihiv oblast or purposeful planting of plants by the local citizens. Taking into account the proximity of A. ursinum growing locality to popular recreation areas, it is necessary to introduce monitoring research of the state and structure of the population and develop special protection measures to conserve this species on the territory of National Nature Park “Pyriatynskyi”

For the first time, a complete inventory and analysis of the taxonomic composition of the flora of the phytogeographic plot “Central Asia” in the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine were conducted. The plot “Central Asia” was established in 1953 for the directed introduction and naturalization of plants from Central Asia. Over 1,000 plant species have been tested here during all this time, which indicates a large amount of experimental work. According to the inventory results, 308 valid taxa (species and subspecies) of higher vascular plants from 168 genera and 66 families have been recorded on the plot. Of these, 183 taxa belong to the natural flora of Central Asia. The structure of the flora on the study plot has certain features of the flora of Central Asia. However, in the conditions of Kyiv, the plants of Central Asian flora requiring more temperate habitats (e.g., plants originated from northern steppes, valley and lowland forests) have taken root best. The geographical structure of the flora of the plot is dominated by ergasiophytes with Central Asian (25.0 %), Eurasian and Paleoarctic (together 34.2 %), and sub-Mediterranean (10.9 %) types of ranges. From this number, 42 species of ergasiophytes are endemic to Central Asia. The biomorphological structure of the flora of the plot is dominated by perennials (47.3 %), and the share of woody plants is 26.4 %. According to Raunkiaer’s classification of life forms, hemicryptophytes (28.4 %), phanerophytes and cryptophytes (25.1 % each) predominate on the plot. In the conditions of Kyiv, phanerophytes from mountainous regions appeared to be the most resistant plants. While among ergasiophytes of Central Asian origin, plants growing in forests, steppes, shrubs, and edges appeared the most represented. Among the ergasiophytes growing on the plot “Central Asia”, 24 species are listed in the red books of Central Asian countries. Currently, there are some problems related to the state of phytocoenoses on the phytogeographical plot “Central Asia” and its flora in general (e.g., death of many ergasiophytes of Central Asian origin due to inconsistency of climatic conditions, expansion of invasive organisms, growing anthropogenic load, etc.) However, thanks to the large-scale introductory work, the collection of plants on the plot has a unique composition and remains one of the most attractive decorations of the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden

    No full text
A software is developed for inventory automation based on Android using the Firebase database in the Java programming language. The appendix uses a system of reading barcodes and QR-codes, which provide the addition of goods to the warehouse with all the details of the selected product and informationon all stocks in the warehouse with their price, category, name and code goods. Implemented authorization of system users using the open FirebaseAuth standard. Creating a single service for authorization and registration allows to make the system scalable. The system implements the search for goods by code, as well as viewing stocks in the warehouse with automatic price calculation. The main service of the database is a cloud database of the NoSQL class, which allows storing and synchronizing data between several clients, there is an API for data encryption. In addition, the database remains available only in the application to avoid unauthorized access and editing. While development, it was decided to make an automated control system on the Android OS device, because industrial digitalization (precisely because of the mass introduction of smart devices) requires mobility and accelerated processing of stocks at various stages of turnover. Testing of the developed software is carried out.Problems in programming 2022; 1: 13-22

    No full text
A web service for enterprise resource management systems has been developed, which allows creating and managing fast secure enterprise resource management systems based on user-required modules. The uniqueness of the service is that in addition to the fact that it contains most of the existing standards and capabilities of other ERP systems from other IT companies, it has a significant advantage - there is no need to address IT-specialists for the development and configuration of ERP systems for the needs of the end user in its use. The main website of the web service has been developed, which provides authentication and authorization; installer application for creating and running ERP system; ERP server application, and client application for interaction with ERP system. Functional testing of the developed web service was carried out by testing each application separately and in a joint relationship. Thanks to the concept of modularity, this system is easily supplemented and expanded. In the future, this service can be supplemented with new functionality, depending on business requirements.Problems in programming 2022; 2: 47-5

Діагностичне значення синтезу фенольних сполук і проліну в листках Schisandra chinensis та Actinidia arguta для індикації рівня стресу рослин в умовах змішаних насаджень

    No full text
The peculiarities of the accumulation of polyphenolic compounds and free proline were investigated in the leaves of Actinidia arguta and Shisandra chinensis during their cultivation in vegetation containers with different ratios of the number of plants, namely 1 : 1, 2 : 1, 1 : 2. Monocultural (single-species) planting was used as a control. The content of free proline in plant leaves was carried out according to the method, which is based on the interaction of proline with a ninhydrin reagent, forming a pink-red color. The amount of polyphenolic compounds was determined by the Folin-Ciocalteu method. It was found that the ratio of plants grown together significantly affects the accumulation of primary and secondary metabolites in their leaves. Under conditions of mixed planting, more proline and phenolic substances are accumulated in plant leaves compared to monoculture. The maximum proline content, 19.44 ± 0.91 mg/g of dry weight (DW), was observed in the leaves of A. arguta in the experiment combination with a prevailing number of schisandra plants at a ratio of S. chinensis and A. arguta plants of 2:1. In the same combination, the leaves of actinidia contained the highest amount of phenolic compounds (36.87 ± 2.22 mg/g DW). The studied root exudates of the experimental plants had an allelopathic inhibitory effect on the test culture. The exudates caused 12.0 % average decrease in root growth of A. arguta test objects, and 30.0 % average decrease in root growth of S. chinensis test objects compared with the control. This allows us to conclude about the high activity of schisandra’s allelochemicals, which negatively affect the development of actinidia plants. The optimal ratio of plants A. arguta and S. chinensis when grown together is 2 : 1, since a higher concentration of schisandra plants in a container more stress in actinidia plants, expressed as an increased accumulation of phenols and prolines in its leaves. The result of a comparative analysis of the amount of proline and phenolic compounds can be used to assess the mutual influence of plants in mixed plantings to optimize their growing conditions, which confirms the diagnostic significance of these metabolites for indicating the stress state of the studied plants

Антиоксидантна здатність рослин Cosmos sulphureus за вирощування в умовах помірного клімату

    No full text
Cosmos sulphureus is an adventitious species for Europe and Ukraine in particular. It originates from Central and South America, where it grows in tropical and subtropical climates. The climatic conditions of Kyiv are characterized as temperate, with an absolute temperature minimum of –32.2 °C, an absolute maximum of +39.9 °C, and average annual rainfall of 649 mm.Plants were analyzed in the flowering phase, divided into inflorescences, leaves, stems, and roots, dried at +35 °C and then extracted with methanol and water. The determination of the antiradical activity was carried out according to a modified method using a DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) radical inhibition reaction. The highest antiradical activity was detected in inflorescences (59.60–81.81 % inhibition) and leaves (79.81–89.12 % inhibition). Stem extracts had an average level of inhibition (19.63–65.93 %), and root extracts showed only 2.54–39.46 % inhibition. Correlation analysis showed a strong relationship between leaves and stems (r = 0.84), leaves and roots (r = 0.81), and stems and roots (r = 0.91).Extracts of C. sulphureus plants grown in temperate climate were found having a high antioxidant potential but lower than that reported for tropical and subtropical regions. It was found that higher intensity of coloration of marginal florets of the capitulum does not correlate with a higher antiradical activity. Methanolic and water extracts of inflorescences of the genotype CSCO-368812 with intensilly colored perianth inhibited only 59.60 % and 71.50 % of radicals, while similar extracts of the genotype CS-361294 with lighter florets inhibited 71.17 % and 81.81 % of radicals, respectively. Instead, there was a difference in antiradical activity depending on applied extractant. Methanolic extracts of vegetative organs (leaves, stems, roots) prevail over water extracts in terms of their antiradical activity. However, water extracts of inflorescences of both genotypes demonstrated higher level of antiradical activity
