FLUORIDE TOXICITY IN SOIL AND PLANTS: AN OVERVIEW
Fluoride, if present in higher concentration for an extended period of time causes diverse toxic effects not only in plants and soil, but also in human beings. These effects on vegetation are mostly through the fluoride contaminated soil, gases, water as well as dust that alter the morphology and physiology of plants. The damages caused by Fluoride in plants may be chronic or acute and their rigidity is dependent on the duration of the fluoride exposure and concentration. Fluoride toxicity in plants results into the continuous accumulation of fluoride into their subcellular structures which then changes towards biochemical activity. Fluoride toxicity negatively influences growth, germination, photosynthesis, mineral nutrition, respiration, reproduction and activity of cellular enzymes. Further this toxicity is well known to prohibit the action of anti-oxidative enzyme systems such as interfere with cell signaling and superoxide dismutase. Fluoride is also noted to obstruct calcium movement which is crucial for germination. Hence, this review highlights the evidences of fluoride toxicity in soil and its damaging effects on the morphology and physiology of the plants
WOUND CURE BY ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS
Low-frequency magnetic fields induce circulating currents within the human body. The strength of these currents depends on the intensity of the outside magnetic field. If sufficiently large, these currents could cause stimulation of nerves and muscles or affect other biological processes. Electromagnetic fields have shown a promising potential for treatment of various injuries. Various methods have been proposed for wound treatment including electric flow treatment, EMF treatment, static attractive field, and joined attractive field. The current review surveys the most current EMF based techniques for wound medicines and think about their effectiveness for each twisted. BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE AS A MARKET DRIVER FOR THE PERSONAL CARE BRANDS: CASE OF THE MIDDLE EAST
This study explored the usage and benefits of business intelligence in personal care industry of the Middle East. Business intelligence is driving the placement of brands to be a part of consumer’s consideration set. Generally Saudi Arabia and UAE are considered the leading Gulf Corporate Countries (GCC) in skincare and cosmetic consumptions due to several factors including population, climatic, urbanization, tourism and high-volume of resided expatriates. The authors have focused on the integration of business intelligence in communication, influencers-marketing, trending ingredients and market adaptation. The critical review is being followed by quantitative data to support the findings. The research was conducted on 150 sample-size in five different countries (Oman, Bahrain, U.A.E., Saudi Arabia and Qatar) within five-month span. The online questionnaire utilized the random convenience sampling technique to obtain first-hand analysis as well as ordinal and nominal scale with additional open-ended questions. The questionnaire results highlighted Middle Eastern consumers’ motives when selecting skin/personal care products according its social-media popularity, trend, and real-time results. The survey analysis has provided a valuable insight to cosmetic brands in terms of consumers’ habits, choice, and demographics to invest and explore new market segments intelligently. The findings empathized the trends that the leading cosmetic brands should follow for updating the ingredients and enhance product transparency to achieve client loyalty. Moreover, being gender-natural is one of the key-factors in adapting today’s cosmetic global market. The present findings have supported the prior, however limited research that the heuristics side of any decision taken based on datamining cannot be guaranteed unless the potential segment can relate to the same. The pioneer brands in the personal care industry proposed the revamping of competitive advantage based on business intelligence on a regular basis. The present study is a novel attempt in the proposed area as no literature is available for the personal care industry in the Middle East region in terms of an empirical research. Finally, the recommendations have been divided into various subsections including Diversification and inclusiveness, Product Strategy, Prioritize transparency, Product Sustainability and E-Commerce and Technology

In vitro STUDIES ON CHARACTERIZATION OF POLYHYDROXYBUTYRATE
The bacterial polyesters may be considered as “Green Plastics”, because of their biodegradable nature. These polyesters can be employed for packaging and coating materials / as biodegradable carriers and applied in the biomedical field. Twelve bacterial isolates were isolated from the dairy industry effluent sample. Screening for polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) was done by Sudan black staining. PHB extraction was carried out by the chloroform digestion method. Biochemical and 16s rRNA analysis showed that PHB producing bacteria belong to Bacillus genera with Maximum production of PHB was analyzed by U.V spectrophotometer and finally it was characterized by FTIR, NMR, and GC MS

THE EFFECT OF HOME GARDENING TOWARDS THE MENTAL WELLBEING OF MEN AND WOMEN DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
This paper focuses its attention on understanding the impact of home gardening on the mental wellbeing of Sri Lankan men and women during the COVID-19 pandemic. It also investigates whether gender affects in the effects of home gardening on the mental health of people. Primary data was used to understand the effects of home gardening on the mental wellbeing of people. The random sampling method and the questionnaire method was used to collect data from 400 respondents. The online survey method was used to collect data where Face book acted as the social media platform which was used to reach the respondents. The data was analysed using the SPSS (23.0) statistical software and descriptive statistics. The independent sample t- test was used to get the final conclusion of the study. By reviewing past literature, the present study has constructed four variables namely Reduce Depression (RD), Reduce Stress & Anxiety (RSA), Life Satisfaction (LS), and Self Esteem (SE) which can measure the mental wellbeing of an individual. The results show that home gardening helps in coping with psychological problems which can arise during the period of COVID-19. It was also found that home gardening has different effects on the psychological wellbeing of people based on the gender. Furthermore, home gardening affects in reducing depression, stress and anxiety while also improving one’s self-esteem and life satisfaction. In a managerial perspective, the results of the current study are important to policy makers and practitioners to prepare initiatives to promote home gardening in the country. As future research implications, researchers can investigate as to how home gardening can influence on the psychological wellbeing of people by using different contexts and analysis methods
OPTIMIZATION AND MOLECULAR CHARACTERIZATION OF PHB PRODUCTION USING PEELS AS SUBSTRATES by Acinetobacter calcoaceticus
Introduction: Polyhydroxy butyrate, a family of new generation of biobased, biodegradable, eco-friendly plastic has become an alternative for petrochemical derived plastic.
Objective: These are produced by few bacteria. This study was conducted to evaluate the use of waste peels of fruits and vegetables as substrates by PHB producing bacteria.
Methods: Bacteria isolated from soil of different regions were screened for PHB production by sudan black screening method. Few vegetable and fruit peels were used as substrates for PHB production, confirmed by GC-MS analysis. 16s rRNA sequencing was performed to confirm the isolate.
Results: Among the several isolates, P1, P2 and P3 were found to be efficient PHB producers. Among the isolates chosen for PHB production using cheaper agro-wastes, P3 was found to be highly productive. GC-MS analysis revealed that 1,2 benzene dicarboxylic acid to be the major compound, whose peak area was 92.29%. 16s rRNA sequencing revealed P3 isolate to be Acinetobacter calcoaceticus.
Conclusion: Thus our work has revealed that Acinetobacter calcoaceticus is a potential candidate for PHB production using various peels as substrate.

ALCOHOL DRINKING HABITS AND ITS LEADING FACTORS OF UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS USING CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY DESIGN
Background: Alcohol-related leading factors are prevalent, and the important public health problem. Alcohol has represented the issue of the global burden of disease. Alcohol consumption requires a consideration of the amount of alcohol consumed and drinking habits. Thus, the primary objective of this study was to determine the leading factor of the alcohol drinking habits of undergraduate students at Mizan-Tepi University, Ethiopia.
Methods: The sample of 116 students interviewed and selected by using a stratified random sampling technique. The data were collected by using self-structured questionnaires. The Binary logistic regression model was correctly fitted the data and the Hosmer-Lemeshow test was used to test the goodness of fit of the model. SPSS statistical software version 20 was used to analyze the data and a cross-tab table was used to summarize the descriptive statistics and chi-square test of independence.
Result: Out of one hundred sixteen sampled students, sixty-two (53.4%) of students have alcohol drinking habit and fifty-four (46.6%) of students have not alcohol drinking habit. The chi-square test showed that gender of an individual (p-value=0.039), departments (p-value=0.009) and initiation (p-value=0.009) were significantly associated with alcohol drinking habit of students in Mizan-Tepi University at 5 % level of significance. The odds ratio of the mathematics department is 0.0076 times less likely to have alcohol-drinking habits as compared to biology department when all other variables are remaining constant. The study shows that alcohol-drinking habit of students is high. 
MAJOR FISH COMPOSITION OF ALWERO DAM AND BARO/KIR RIVER OF GAMBELLA, SOUTH WEST ETHIOPIA
Introduction: Fish are the top listed water bodies’ resources which are consumed by human beings worldwide and contributed a substantial part of the nutrition supply and important source of diets.
Methods: A study has been conducted in Baro/Kir River and Alwero dome of Gambella people’s regional state to identify the major components of fish. Totally 24 fish species from 386 specimens have been collected using gillnet with mesh sizes of 4-14cm, cast net, hook, lines, and traditional fishing gears were also used such as spears and they are identified using FAO standards, biological atlases, and senior biologists in to order, family and species.
Results: The outcome of this study showed that a total of 24 species grouped in 6 orders and 15 families were identified. Baro/Kir River considerably has the highest number of fish diversity (H=2.22) from the sampled sites. The Siluriformes were the most diverse family. Besides, the most abundant species were Tilapia zilli, Orcharomis nilotics, Lates niloticus and Heterotis nilotics and with 63, 53, 42and 37 respectively.
Conclusion: This was carried out in one season (dry season) and limited site. Hence, it is difficult to generalize the fish diversity status of the region. Therefore, further study should be conducted to figure out accurate information on the diversity of fish species in the Gambella region's main water bodies
