FEATURES OF THE COURSE OF TUBERCULOSIS OF THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM IN PATIENTS OF DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS
A comparative analysis of the results of examination of young and elderly patients with respiratory tuberculosis is presented. Statistical data on the forms of tuberculosis, clinical pictures, clinical and laboratory data among this category of patients were obtained. Tuberculosis in adolescents is more often detected during preventive examinations and contact examinations, and among adult youth — when seeking medical help. Unilateral limited processes without destruction or with small cavities, without isolation of mycobacterium tuberculosis, are more typical for adolescents. In adults, tuberculosis is more often accompanied by pulmonary symptoms, intoxication, and complications. It is recommended to take into account the established features when working with these age groups at the stage of the general treatment network for the timely active detection of tuberculosis patient
STUDY OF BIOCHEMICAL CHANGES IN KIDNEY AND LIVER FUNCTIONS IN THE BLOOD SERUM OF RATS TREATED WITH DIANABOL
The current study aimed to reveal the cytogenetic effects of Methandienone in white mice Mus Musculus, which is widely used in gyms, by studying some blood images through tests by choosing a third of the dose (0.8) mg/kg of the body weight of the laboratory mouse. The results showed that the increase in the drug has the ability to produce _____ white blood cells and ___ red blood cells at an equal rate. In conclusion, the results of this study show that the drug has mutagenic effects.
 
MUTATIONS AND DRUG RESISTANCE IN MALARIA, TOXOPLASMOSIS AND GIARDIASIS: A REVIEW OF CURRENT CHALLENGES AND MECHANISMS
This study addresses the growing threat of drug resistance in malaria, toxoplasmosis, and giardiasis by analyzing the underlying genetic mutations that compromise the efficacy of current treatments. Understanding these mechanisms is crucial for developing more effective therapeutic strategies. A comprehensive review of literature was conducted to identify key mutations associated with drug resistance. In malaria, the focus was on mutations in genes like Pfmdr1, Pfcrt, Pfmrp, and Pfnhe1, which are linked to resistance against antimalarials, particularly the K76T mutation in PfCRT for chloroquine resistance. For toxoplasmosis, mutations in the DHFR-TS and DHPS genes were analyzed, particularly the T83N mutation in DHFR-TS, which confers resistance to pyrimethamine. In giardiasis, the study reviewed mutations in the ferredoxin oxidoreductase gene that reduce the efficacy of metronidazole. The analysis revealed that specific mutations in these parasites significantly contribute to the development of drug resistance, complicating treatment protocols. In malaria, PfMRP1 mutations are particularly concerning due to their role in resistance to both chloroquine and quinine. Toxoplasmosis resistance is notably influenced by DHFR-TS and DHPS mutations, while giardiasis resistance is linked to alterations in drug transport and enzyme function. This study synthesizes the most recent findings on genetic resistance mechanisms in these three parasitic diseases, offering insights that could inform the development of next-generation therapies and improve resistance management strategies, ultimately contributing to better health outcomes
EFFECT OF ACUTE IRRADIATION ON MORPHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF THE LUNGS
Background: Acute radiation exposure impacts human health variably depending on the frequency, duration, and radiation sensitivity of different organs. Specific Background: While immune organs, mucous membranes, exo- and endocrine glands, and gonads are known to be highly sensitive to acute radiation, less is understood about the specific effects on less sensitive organs such as the lungs. Knowledge Gap: Despite established knowledge on the sensitivity of various organs to radiation, there is limited research focusing on the morphological changes occurring in the lungs as a result of acute radiation exposure. Aims: This study aims to investigate the morphological alterations in lung tissue following acute radiation exposure to better understand its impact on this organ. Results: The study reveals distinct morphological changes in the lungs under acute radiation conditions, including alterations in cellular structure and tissue integrity. These findings highlight the specific effects of radiation on lung tissue compared to other less sensitive organs. Novelty: This research provides new insights into the impact of acute radiation on lung morphology, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of radiation effects beyond the commonly studied highly sensitive organs. Implications: Understanding the morphological changes in the lungs due to acute radiation exposure is crucial for improving radiation protection strategies and treatment protocols for individuals exposed to high levels of ionizing radiation

Estimated Glycation End Products and Oxidative Status in Renal Failure Patients
The present study conducted to assess the Glycation end products and oxidative status of in patients with renal failure. 100 patients that have had CKD for less than 2 years have been diagnosed by a doctor. A control group of 40 stable individuals was selected. From October 2021 to February 2022, patients were confirmed to be sick with chronic renal disease at Azadi Teaching Hospital and Al-Jumhuri Hospital. the results showed that the largest age group of patients was > 60 years with percent (39%). Body Mass Index (BMI) of patients was 18.5-24.9 kg with percent (52%). Residential Area of patients was urban with percent (83%). Smoking Status of patients was non-smoking with percent (68%). The current outcomes demonstrated a reduction in the concentration of total protein that is significant (P<0.05), albumin and globulin in patients compare with healthy volunteers. On the other hand, the results show a significant (P<0.05) elevated in levels of carbonyl and amino group, while decreased in thiol levels in patients compare with healthy volunteers. Otherwise, the Glycation level shows significant (P<0.05) elevated in in patients compare with healthy volunteers. Its concluded that the CKD lead to elevated Glycation level and changes in oxidative status
Strategies For The Treatment Of Chronic Bronchitis In Children, Taking Into Account Sexual Development
A study was carried out to study the characteristics of sexual development and measures of secondary prophylaxis in patients with chronic bronchitis. The study included 84 children with chronic bronchitis aged 10 to 16 years. Of them, 37 (44%) are girls and 47 (56%) are boys. Moderate - severe course of the disease was revealed in 43 (51,2%) children, severe - in 41 (48,8%). It was revealed that chronic bronchitis adversely affects the sexual development of children of both sexes. The pace of development of secondary sexual characteristics occurs gradually and does not complete until the end of puberty. The comprehensive stage-by-stage secondary prophylaxis we proposed for children with chronic bronchitis disease contributed to the improvement of both the underlying disease and sexual development
Review study of Psoriasis in Iraq
Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English. Describe the introduction, the purpose of writting, research methods, result and conclusion. Minimum 150 and maximum 250 words.. Psoriasis is a multisystem inflammatory disease with predominantly skin and joint involvement. Beyond the physical dimensions of disease, psoriasis has an extensive emotional and psychosocial effect on patients, affecting social functioning and interpersonal relationships. As a disease of systemic inflammation, psoriasis is associated with multiple comorbidities, including cardiovascular disease and malignancy. The diagnosis is primarily clinical and a skin biopsy is seldom required. Depending on the severity of disease, appropriate treatment can be initiated. For mild to moderate disease, first-line treatment involves topical therapies including corticosteroids, vitamin D3 analogues, and combination products. These topical treatments are efficacious and can be safely initiated and prescribed by primary care physicians. Patients with more severe and refractory symptoms might require further evaluation by a dermatologist for systemic therapy .Psoriasis is a chronic, noncommunicable, painful, disfiguring and disabling disease for which there is no cure and with great negative impact on patients’ quality of life . It can occur at any age. The etiology of psoriasis remains unclear. Psoriasis can also be provoked by external and internal triggers, including mild trauma, sunburn, infections, systemic drugs and stress . Psoriasis involves the skin and nails, and is associated with a number of comorbidities. Skin lesions are localized or generalized, mostly symmetrical, sharply demarcated, red papules and plaques, and usually covered with white or silver scales. Lesions cause itching, stinging and pain. Individuals with psoriasis are reported to be at increased risk of developing other serious clinical conditions such as cardiovascular and other noncommunicable diseases . Psoriasis causes great physical, emotional and social burden . Disfiguration, disability and marked loss of productivity are common challenges for people with psoriasis.
