    The given article presents information about the Uzbek language, the implementation of the law “On the State Language”, shortcomings in this regard, literacy issues, improving students’ literacy, research conducted in this regard, the role of the family in increasing students’ literacy. The impact of literacy, future challenges related to quality mother tongue instruction, increased attention to the issue of literacy, as well as issues related to the preparation of highly qualified personnel in this field will be covered.       In the course of our research, we have found out that students have insufficient skills and qualifications to distinguish language phenomena, to choose words suitable for the purpose of speech. It is explained that the cultural level and responsibilities of parents are important in developing the student's spirituality, increasing the level of knowledge and literacy. Today, it will be shown what the tasks related to the development of our native language and literature, its teaching should consist of. Updating the system of teaching the Uzbek language on the basis of our national pedagogy, on the basis of foreign experience, creating literature that meets the requirements of the time, using innovative technologies, ensuring that the Uzbek language occupies a worthy place in the Internet world information network, about the language the need to create scientific and methodological developments related to the creation of electronic systematization of knowledge and linguistic analysis algorithms, the introduction of information and communication technologies to linguistic research, the importance of the creation of translation programs and dictionaries, electronic textbooks based on the Uzbek language and the world's leading foreign languages are stressed

    When Charles Dickens wrote Oliver Twist in the 1830s, crime was a major problem in London. To shed light on this problem, Charles Dickens cared about the reader and used different literary methods to be more influential and more effective in conveying his literary message towards his society. He used literary symbolism to evoke a group of additional meanings that are essential in conveying the desired meaning. His primary aim was to draw the reader's attention to the perception of meaning of what he wanted to convey about the innocent or evil individuals in his novel Oliver Twist, and the symbolism had wide ability to motivate the reader to derive deeper meanings, which enriched the novel by providing hints about the development of the novel's events.     This research aims to examine the construction of values in the Manyanda tradition. The type of research used in this research is a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used in this research are through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained from the field are as follows: The Manyanda tradition is a valuable tradition in the lives of the people of Nagari Talang, Solok District as one part of the traditional death procession. It has existed for a long time as part of the social structure of society, and still survives today. However, based on findings in the field, there are a number of differences in perception between various groups in understanding the value construction of the Manyanda tradition. The Nagari elite such as traditional elders, niniak mamak, cadiak pandai and bundo kanduang have different understandings from society in general, especially among the younger generation. There is a shift in the value of the manyanda tradition from a social obligation as a form of replacing the position of a person who dies socially to just being a traditional obligation. This difference in understanding and perception has an impact on a shift in the meaning of the manyanda tradition for the community at Nagari Talan

In transition economies, duality often leads to underdevelopment, resource mismanagement, and corruption. This research explores the duality of tax inflation and its impact on emissions within such economies, with a focus on the case of Uzbekistan. The study aims to examine how dual monetary systems and tax inflation contribute to economic imbalance and environmental degradation. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, including qualitative analysis of economic policies and quantitative assessment of emission data, the research reveals that dual monetary systems lead to tax evasion and inefficient resource allocation. The findings highlight the need for integrated economic reforms, emphasizing the unification of monetary circulation and the decentralization of financial decision-making. The implications suggest that addressing fiscal imbalances through optimized tax policies is crucial for sustainable economic development and environmental preservation

    The article is devoted to the issues of the meaning and concept of scientific and expert support of parliamentary activities. In it, these issues are revealed from the point of view of the development of parliamentary and more active involvement of representatives of the expert community in various areas of parliamentary activity. Scientific and expert support of parliamentary activities is important in terms of strengthening the scientific validity of the issues considered by the parliament, especially, in the activity on the adoption of laws, other important strategic documents that determine the priority areas of domestic and foreign policy. It is noted that in recent years, such involvement of scientists, experts, specialists from various fields of knowledge, representatives of civil society has become a vital necessity. This ensures constant communication between the parliament and various sectors of society, timely identification of problems that concern citizens and, most importantly, the search for the most optimal and scientifically verified ways to solve them. The issues of the significance and concept of scientific and expert support of parliamentary activities are considered by the author through the prism of national experience, in particular, the activities of the Parliament of Uzbekistan - the Oliy Majlis, as well as with a wide retrospective of the opinions of Uzbek and Russian scientists on this issue
