    Utilization of Single Phase Pure Sine Wave Inverters in Electrical Energy Conversion Systems for Solar Panels with Variable Loads

    The inverter built in this research is used to convert direct current into alternating current with a size of 3000 watts, which has a DC input voltage of 24 volts. This inverter has a large capacity and can generate enough electricity to run different huge electrical devices or several units at once. It's made utilizing energy-efficient technology to cut down on energy waste during conversion. Furthermore, safeguards such voltage surge and overcurrent prevention guarantee the operational safety of the inverter. The inverter was built using the PWM method and variable loads (resistive load, inductive load and capacitive load), with the aim of evaluating the inverter's ability to handle resistive, inductive and capacitive loads and to see how the inverter responds to load changes dynamically. Based on observations and calculations, higher loads are positively correlated with higher inverter power and efficiency. The inverter has a max output of 664.62 watts and 229 Volt is the output voltage attained. This demonstrates that the EGS002 PSW inverter produces AC voltage of high quality with precise and steady characteristics.Inverter yang dibangun pada penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengubah arus searah menjadi arus bolak-balik dengan besaran 3000 watt yang mempunyai tegangan input DC sebesar 24 volt. Inverter ini memiliki kapasitas yang besar dan dapat menghasilkan listrik yang cukup untuk menjalankan berbagai perangkat listrik berukuran besar atau beberapa unit sekaligus. Itu dibuat dengan memanfaatkan teknologi hemat energi untuk mengurangi pemborosan energi selama konversi. Selain itu, perlindungan seperti lonjakan tegangan dan pencegahan arus lebih menjamin keselamatan operasional inverter. Inverter dibangun dengan menggunakan metode PWM dan beban variabel (beban resistif, beban induktif, dan beban kapasitif), dengan tujuan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan inverter dalam menangani beban resistif, induktif, dan kapasitif serta melihat bagaimana respon inverter terhadap perubahan beban secara dinamis. Berdasarkan pengamatan dan perhitungan, beban yang lebih tinggi berkorelasi positif dengan daya dan efisiensi inverter yang lebih tinggi. Inverter memiliki keluaran maksimal 664,62 watt dan tegangan keluaran yang dicapai adalah 229 Volt. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa inverter PSW EGS002 menghasilkan tegangan AC yang berkualitas dengan karakteristik yang presisi dan stabil

    Designing A Pdf Malware Detection System Using Machine Learning

    This research proposes an approach to build malicious PDF detection system using random forest algorithm, focusing the Evasive-PDFMal2022 dataset which is updated and extended with the addition of new datasets. This dataset includes malicious PDF files from CVE and Exploit-DB, non-malicious PDF files, as well as files from private collections and Technically-oriented PDF Collection. Features were extracted using the PDFID tool, resulting in 29 structural features that formed the basis for the Random Forest classification algorithm. Experiments showed that the model trained with the new dataset provided accuracy equivalent to the Evasive-PDFMal2022 model, at 98%, albeit with a small decrease in recall for the benign class. In addition, this research involved the creation of a website for metadata extraction and malicious PDF detection. Recognition goes to the dataset contributors, tool developers, and dataset providers from NIST and Exploit-DB. Overall, this research successfully increased the representation and diversity of the dataset, provided good model training results, improved detection from 3 malicious PDF variants to 13 variants, and created a practical tool for malicious PDF extraction and detection. Nonetheless, further development may be required to improve detection performance in more complex scenario

    ANALISIS KELAYAKAN FINANSIAL USAHA IKAN CAKALANG BEKU (KATSUWONUS PELAMIS) DAN IKAN DEMERSAL BEKU DI PULAU BEENG KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN SANGIHE

    The research aims to conduct a feasibility analysis of the frozen fish business in Beeng Village, Center South Tabukan District to improve the welfare of fishermen. In the feasibility analysis of frozen skipjack tuna business, the BCR value = 5.19. This means that the BCR value is> 1, so this indicator shows that the frozen skipjack tuna business is worth continuing. The NPV value is IDR 37.142.857,- which is positive and the IRR is 94%. This shows that the frozen skipjack tuna business is worth continuing. Meanwhile, in the feasibility analysis of the frozen demersal fish business, the BCR value was 16.43, NPV IDR 72.845.714, IRR 43%. BCR value > 1, NPV is positive, so this business is worth continuing.  Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melakukan analisis kelayakan usaha ikan beku di Desa Beeng Kecamatan Tabukan Selatan Tengah untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan nelayan. Pada analisis kelayakan usaha ikan Cakalang beku, nilai BCR = 5,19. Artinya, nilai BCR>1, sehingga indikator ini menunjukkan bahwa usaha ikan Cakalang beku ini layak untuk diteruskan. Nilai NPV Rp 37.142.857,- yang bernilai positif serta IRR bernilai 94%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa usaha ikan Cakalang beku layak untuk diteruskan. Sedangkan, pada analisis kelayakan usaha ikan demersal beku diperoleh nilai BCR sebesar 16,43, NPV Rp 72.845.714, IRR 43%. Nilai BCR > 1, NPV bernilai positif, sehingga usaha ini layak untuk diteruskan.

    THE STRATEGY OF MIND MAPPING IN TEACHING DESCRIPTIVE WRITING THROUGH THE FOURTH SEMESTER STUDENTS AT STIKOM TUNAS BANGSA IN PEMATANGSIANTAR

    Writing is one of the four aspects of language skills that a person must possess. Using writing, someone can generate interesting ideas and pour them into writing. Writing descriptive paragraphs is also one of the lessons that the school student finds difficult to understand; the mind mapping method is applied to see how the technique influences writing students, especially in the description text. This study aims to examine the import of image media-based mind mapping on the fourth-semester students' skills in writing descriptive text paragraphs. The subjects are fourth-grade students at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa. The research adopts a mixed-methods framework, merging qualitative and quantitative approaches to examine the intervention’s outcomes comprehensively. The quantitative component includes pre-tests and post-tests to assess improvements in students' descriptive writing skills before and after the intervention of image media-based mind-mapping. The qualitative component consists of classroom observations, student feedback, and analysis of written assignments to capture students' experiences and perceptions of the technique. Results indicate that the image media-based mind mapping technique significantly enhances students' ability to generate ideas, organize their writing, and incorporate detailed descriptions. The study highlights the effectiveness of combining visual media with mind mapping to improve descriptive writing, suggesting that this approach offers a valuable tool for educators aiming to enhance student's writing proficiency where students view mind mapping positively, nothing its effectiveness in highlighting critical information from the textbook and simplifying the process of understanding details.  Writing is one of the four aspects of language skills that a person must possess.     The increasing usage of plastic is proportional to the amount of plastic waste today. The plastic usage makes the human live easier especially for packaging purposes. However, it also has a negative impact to the environment. This is due to it cannot easily decompose. Therefore, it can reduce the level of soil fertility. Besides plastic, lubricant waste from motor vehicles can induce an environmental problem as well since it is categorized of hazardous material (B3) waste. Currently, the use of plastic waste has been widely carried out by correlating into liquid fuel through thermal cracking or pyrolysis treatment. It produces liquid and it can be used as an alternative liquid fuel. This study uses the co-pyrolysis method for treating the used plastic waste with used lubricants. The composition ratios used are 10:0, 10:2, 10:4, 10:6, and 10:8. The highest acquisition of liquid products was in the composition ratio of 10:6 as much as 24.67% with a calorific value of 11015.33 cal/g. Then the highest calorific, density, and viscosity values were obtained, namely at the 10:8 composition ratio of 11061.67 cal/g, 0.8906 g/mL, and 0.927 cSt. It was concluded that the mixing of used lubricants in the co-pyrolysis of LDPE plastic waste was able to increase the calorific value of the liquid product produced.The increasing usage of plastic is proportional to the amount of plastic waste today.     Analisis Prosedur Pengiriman Barang Pada Perusahaan Eksportir

    Analysis of goods delivery procedures at exporting companies is an important key in optimizing the supply chain and ensuring operational efficiency. This research aims to analyze the export shipping procedures implemented by PT. Supra Aluminum, a company engaged in the production and distribution of aluminum products. In the export shipping process, there are several stages that must be passed to ensure the product reaches international consumers safely and on time. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, collecting data through interviews, observation and analysis of company documents. The research results show that PT. Supra Aluminum has implemented systematic delivery procedures, starting from preparing export documents, checking product quality, selecting delivery methods, to monitoring delivery. However, there are several obstacles faced, such as delays in processing documents and communication problems with related parties in the destination country. This research provides valuable insights for exporting companies in improving their goods delivery processes, increasing reliability, and reducing overall operational costs.Analisis prosedur pengiriman barang pada perusahaan eksportir menjadi kunci penting dalam mengoptimalkan rantai pasok dan memastikan efisiensi operasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis prosedur pengiriman ekspor yang diterapkan oleh PT. Supra Aluminium, sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi dan distribusi produk aluminium. Dalam proses pengiriman ekspor, terdapat beberapa tahapan yang harus dilalui untuk memastikan produk sampai ke tangan konsumen internasional dengan aman dan tepat waktu. Studi ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT. Supra Aluminium telah menerapkan prosedur pengiriman yang sistematis, mulai dari persiapan dokumen ekspor, pengecekan kualitas produk, pemilihan metode pengiriman, hingga pemantauan pengiriman. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi, seperti keterlambatan dalam pengurusan dokumen dan masalah komunikasi dengan pihak terkait di negara tujuan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi perusahaan eksportir dalam memperbaiki proses pengiriman  barang mereka, meningkatkan keandalan, dan mengurangi biaya operasional secara keseluruhan

    Strategi Perencanaan Program Sponsorship untuk Meningkatkan Efektivitas Pameran oleh PT Nusaraya Asa Pameran (ASA Exhibitions)

    Sponsorship program planning is a key element in the success of an exhibition. This study aims to explore the sponsorship planning strategy implemented by PT Nusaraya Asa Exhibition (ASA Exhibitions) in the context of the 2024 Indonesia Beauty Influencers Summit event. Through a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation methods, the research results show that the planning process involves several stages, including preparing a sponsorship proposal, creating a database of potential sponsors, communicating and sending proposals, following up, negotiating, and dealing. This study also identified several challenges in sponsorship program planning, including obstacles in bartering products that do not match the value of the booth being sold and the lack of interest of potential sponsors in sponsorship packages that are considered too expensive. These findings provide insight into best practices and challenges faced in sponsorship planning, as well as suggestions for improving the effectiveness of future sponsorship programs. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi perencanaan sponsorship yang diterapkan oleh PT Nusaraya Asa Pameran (ASA Exhibitions) dalam konteks acara Indonesia Beauty Influencers Summit 2024. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi memperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa proses perencanaan melibatkan beberapa tahapan, termasuk penyusunan proposal sponsorship, pembuatan database calon sponsor, komunikasi dan pengiriman proposal, follow-up, negosiasi, dan dealing. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan dalam perencanaan program sponsorship, termasuk kendala dalam barter produk yang tidak sesuai dengan nilai booth yang dijual serta ketidakminatan calon sponsor terhadap paket sponsor yang dianggap terlalu mahal. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan mengenai praktik terbaik dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam perencanaan sponsorship, serta saran untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program sponsorship di masa mendatang.     RANCANG BANGUN PERANGKAT KERAS SISTEM PEMANTAU POTENSI TANAH LONGSOR DENGAN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK BERBASIS LORA

    Landslides represent one of the natural disasters that cause extensive harm to communities, affecting them morally and materially. Various parties, including the government, have implemented various efforts to prevent and reduce the impact of landslides. Because landslide potential areas are difficult to do directly, a tool is designed that is able to monitor areas that have the potential for landslides. The purpose of this research is to design hardware and monitor soil movement in a potential landslide location. The device uses ultrasonic sensor and accelerometer sensor to measure the ground movement. Early warning system is made as an effort to provide warnings to local residents if there are indications of land movement that has the potential to become a landslide disaster. In the process of sending data, LoRa module is used. For remote monitoring of soil movement, the data taken by the sensor will be sent to the Thingspeak IoT platform so that soil movement can be monitored in graphical form. This system can send data up to a radius of 1200 meters, and has a fairly low percentage error value below 1% for measurements using ultrasonic sensors and can monitor the movement of tools using accelerometer sensors.Tanah longsor merupakan salah satu bencana alam yang banyak menimbulkan kerugian bagi masyarakat baik dari segi moril maupun materil. Berbagai upaya pencegahan serta penanggulangan bencana telah dilakukan oleh berbagai pihak termasuk pemerintah untuk mencegah terjadinya bencana longsor. Karena aktivitas pemantauan daerah potensi tanah longsor sulit dilakukan secara langsung, maka dari itu dirancanglah sebuah alat yang mampu melakukan pemantauan terhadap daerah yang memiliki potensi terjadinya tanah longsor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang perangkat keras dan memantau pergerakan tanah pada lokasi yang berpotensi terjadi tanah longsor. Alat yang dibuat menggunakan sensor ultrasonik dan juga sensor akselerometer sebagai pengukur pergerakan tanah. Dalam upaya pencegahan terjadinya bencana longsor dibuatlah sebuah Early Warning System yang dapat memberikan peringatan kepada warga sekitar apabila ada indikasi terjadinya pergerakan tanah yang berpotensi menjadi tanah longsor. Pada proses pengiriman data digunakan modul LoRa. Untuk pemantauan pergerakan tanah secara jarak jauh maka data yang telah diambil oleh sensor akan dikirimkan menuju ke platform IoT Thingspeak agar pergeseran tanah dapat dipantau dalam bentuk grafik. Sistem ini dapat mengirim data hingga radius 1200 meter dengan persentase error di bawah 1% untuk pengukuran sensor ultrasonik, serta mampu memantau pergerakan alat melalui sensor akselerometer.     Kata kunci : Akselerometer, LoRa, Sensor Ultrasonik, Tanah Longso

    In this digital era, the demand for reliable and efficient communication networks is increasingly rising. One of the critical components in communication networks is the Base Transceiver Station (BTS), which requires an antenna with optimal orientation to ensure maximum signal quality. This research aims to design an automatic BTS antenna pointing system using an Android application. The system utilizes DC Gear Motors and Servo Motors to adjust the antenna's position and orientation in real-time. The Android application serves as an intuitive user interface, allowing technicians to easily calibrate and adjust the antenna. The system is designed to enhance time efficiency and accuracy in the antenna pointing process. The application is developed using Android Studio and Firebase Realtime Database. It is connected to the ESP32 via mobile Wi-Fi internet. The developed application functions effectively, enabling the tower to rotate to the specified angle accurately as commanded by the application. The code and system built significantly assist technicians in the antenna pointing process.Pada era digital ini, kebutuhan akan jaringan komunikasi yang handal dan efisien semakin meningkat. Salah satu komponen vital dalam jaringan komunikasi adalah Base Transceiver Station (BTS), yang memerlukan antena dengan orientasi optimal untuk memastikan kualitas sinyal yang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah sistem pointing antena BTS secara otomatis menggunakan aplikasi Android. Sistem ini memanfaatkan Motor Gear DC dan Motor Servo untuk menggerakkan posisi dan orientasi antena secara real-time. Aplikasi Android berfungsi sebagai antarmuka pengguna yang intuitif, memungkinkan teknisi untuk melakukan kalibrasi dan penyesuaian antena dengan mudah. Sistem ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dan akurasi dalam proses Pointing antena. Aplikasi dibuat menggunakan android studio dan Firebase Realtime Database. Aplikasi ini terhubung dengan ESP32 menggunakan internet Mobile Wifi. Aplikasi yang dibuat bekerja dengan baik, dimana tower dapat berputar ke arah sudut sesuai dengan perintah yang diberikan oleh aplikasi dengan tepat, dengan kode dan sistem yang dibangun dapat memudahkan teknisi dalam melakukan pointing antena

    ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN HEADWAY DAN METODE PEMBAYARAN PADA JAKARTA MASS RAPID TRANSIT (MRT JAKARTA) DAN SINGAPORE MASS RAPID TRANSIT (MRT SINGAPURA)

    The global population growth increased by 0.88% at the end of 2022 compared to the previous year. Jakarta and Singapore, as two densely populated areas in Southeast Asia, need to pay extra attention to the need for infrastructure, including adequate transportation systems. One of the prominent transportation modes in both regions is Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). MRT is an urban rail-based transportation mode aimed at providing regular and sustainable public services. The MRT system excels in capacity, speed, and reliability compared to other transportation modes, as it operates on fully separated tracks. Despite both regions having MRT systems, there are differences in several aspects. This research is conducted using a qualitative method, applying techniques such as the analysis of literature. The differing aspects between the Jakarta MRT and the Singapore MRT are headway (time between trains) and payment methods. The Singapore MRT has a smaller headway compared to the Jakarta MRT. The shorter the time, the better the service. In terms of payment methods, the Singapore MRT predominantly implements a cardless payment system, in contrast to the Jakarta MRT. The Jakarta MRT still offers the purchase of Single Trip Tickets and Multi Trip Tickets
