    ANALISIS NUMERIK UNTUK MEMPREDIKSI DAYA DUKUNG PONDASI DANGKAL PADA TANAH LUNAK DENGAN DAYA DUKUNG RENDAH

    This research aims to determine the types and dimensions of shallow foundations that are effectively used on difficult soils with low bearing capacity. The selection of foundation types and dimensions is based on the allowable ultimate bearing capacity to support the superstructure of a building. The analysis used Terzaghi's theory with Standard Penetration Test data. This study used a size of 0.30 m in width and 1.0 m in length. The groundwater table is located 6.0 meters from the ground surface. The next variations of width are 0.35 m and 0.4 m. Results of this study show that the most effective type of foundation was a palm foundation type with a width of 0.4 m. The analysis indicated that the width of the foundation was 0.4 m, and the groundwater level was 1.0 m below the base. The ultimate bearing capacity value is 148.16 kN/m²; the carrying capacity of the permit was 49.39 kN/m² with a column total load of 19.76 kN

    Kalimulya Depok Village requires a solar-powered public street lighting program. The objective of this program is not only to address the community's issue of insufficient street lighting but also to serve as an educational initiative by PNJ faculty members to enlighten the residents of Kalimulya about the utilization of solar energy as a sustainable source of electricity, aiming to achieve the village's aspiration for energy self-sufficiency. The activities encompassed in this initiative include a survey for the placement of solar street lighting poles, coordination with Kelurahan Kalimulya, system planning, installation of solar street lighting, and training for the operation and maintenance of solar street lighting systems. This endeavor has yielded positive outcomes for the partners, as evidenced by the installation of 2 solar street lighting units in RW 02 and RW 07 of Kalimulya Depok. Additionally, participants in the training program have acquired knowledge and skills related to renewable energy, expressing a high level of satisfactionThe Kalimulya Depok Sub-district requires a solar-powered public street lighting program. The objective of this program is not only to address the partner-related issue of insufficient street lighting in order to reduce crime action but also to serve as an educational initiative. The program is carried out by the PNJ team in collaboration with Kalimulya Sub-district. The main activity was about utilizing solar energy as a renewable source of public electricity. This will contribute to achieving the energy-independent village's goal. The community engagement activities include conducting surveys for the placement of solar street lighting poles and coordinating with the Kalimulya Sub-district, planning the installation system of solar street lighting, installing the poles and lamps for solar street lighting, and providing training on the operation and maintenance of solar street lighting alike. This initiative has a positive impact on the partners, as through the provision of solar street lighting, 2 units of solar street lighting have been installed in rukun warga (RW, or upper neighborhood organization) 02 and RW 07 of Kalimulya Subdistrict, Depok. Furthermore, through the training on the operation and maintenance of solar street lighting, participants gain knowledge and skills about renewable energy operation and how to maintain solar street lighting, resulting in a high level of satisfaction at the end. Kegiatan ini terdiri atas survai peletakan tiang penerangan jalan umum tenaga surya (PJUTS) dan koordinasi dengan Kelurahan Kalimulya, Perencanaan sistem instalasi PJU TS, instalasi tiang dan lampu PJU TS, dan pelatihan operasi dan perawatan PJU TS.      The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) noted that Indonesia produced 401,767 tons of tilapia in the second quarter of 2022. Water quality is a key factor in the success of tilapia aquaculture. In tilapia farming, there are several challenges, such as diseases caused by poor water quality. However, not all farmers understand water quality management. Our activity aims to implement an internet of things-based water quality monitoring system for ponds based on temperature and pH. The implementation method of this service starts from surveying, system development, testing, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this activity is the completion of a tilapia pond water quality monitoring system, with input parameters of temperature sensor (ds18d20) and pH sensor (dfrobot sen0161), NodeMCU as a processor, and monitoring using ThingsBoard.     Technology is advancing at a quick pace, which means that we need experienced teachers who can create engaging, digital-based lesson plans in addition to being skilled at teaching to students' needs. In order to improve the proficiency of the teachers at the Madani Middle and High School integrated schools in Depok, a community program based on the Science and Technology Implementation Service was implemented. The outcomes of this community service, which combined theory and practice, demonstrated that training in creating instructional media using the Prezi application, particularly for language learning, was able to enhance teachers' proficiency in using technology-based teaching tools. Keywords - digital competence, teaching media, Prezi   Abstrak Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi yang pesat, dibutuhkan guru berpengalaman yang dapat membuat rencana pembelajaran berbasis digital yang menarik serta terampil dalam melakukan pembelajaran yang sesuai kebutuhan siswa.     STUDY ON TRANSLATION ACCURACY OF INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES IN THE SUBTITLE OF WANDAVISION SERIES

    In the global movie industry, subtitles are essential as they bridge the communication between the story of a movie and the global audiences. Therefore, subtitling translators must provide accurate translations of subtitles so that the audience can understand the story of a movie. This descriptive-qualitative research aims to analyze the types of interrogative sentences, translation techniques, and the accuracy of the interrogative sentences’ translations in the subtitles of the first two episodes of the Wanda Vision series through content analysis and focus group discussion. The results of this study found 130 data classify into 3 types of interrogative sentences based on Quirk et al. (1985): Yes-no questions, WH questions, and Alternative Questions. In translating these interrogative sentences, there are 12 Molina and Albir’s translation techniques used by the translator, with three dominant techniques as follows: established equivalent, reduction, and literal translation. The average accuracy of the translation of interrogative sentences is 2.69 that if reviewed based on the accuracy parameters by Nababan (2012), this score indicates that interrogative sentences in this study overall have been translated quite accuratel

    This study examines the flouting of Cooperative Principle maxims in conversational implicature and Gottlieb’s translation strategies used in the subtitles of One Piece (Live-Action Series 2023). This study aims to identify which conversational maxims are flouted, Gottlieb’s translation strategies employed, and how these implicatures are translated into the target language. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with document analysis as the data collection technique. The results showed that all four conversational maxims were flouted, and some implicatures flouted multiple maxims simultaneously. Most implicatures were translated into the same implicature in the target text, while a small number were translated explicitly and have undergone explicitation. The most frequently used translation strategy was Paraphrase, followed by Condensation, Transfer, Dislocation, Decimation, Expansion, and Deletion. Most of the implicatures translated explicitly use the Paraphrase strategy to ensure that the utterances are clear and align with the conversation. &nbsp

    The Relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiatives and Employee Engagement in Indonesian Corporations

    This study examines the relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and employee engagement within Indonesian corporations, focusing on how CSR activities in areas such as environmental sustainability, community support, and employee well-being influence employee commitment and organizational loyalty. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through a survey of 400 employees from various sectors across Indonesia and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to determine the strength and significance of relationships between CSR dimensions and employee engagement. Results indicate that CSR initiatives aimed at improving employee well-being and workplace conditions have the strongest positive impact on employee engagement, followed by community-focused activities. The findings suggest that CSR serves as a strategic tool to enhance organizational commitment by fostering a supportive and ethical work environment. This study offers practical implications for corporations aiming to boost employee engagement through socially responsible practices, particularly in emerging markets like Indonesia

    Case-Based Reasoning Diagnosis Penyakit Pada Tanaman Kelapa Sawit

    Oil palm cultivation is one of the main agricultural commodities in Indonesia, as oil palm plants have a relatively high economic value. However, oil palm cultivation is vulnerable to disease attacks that can threaten productivity. The lack of knowledge among farmers in managing plantations and addressing these problems can exacerbate damage to plants due to disease attacks. To address this issue, this research will develop an application using a Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) approach to diagnose diseases in oil palm plants with the nearest neighbor calculation algorithm. CBR will solve new problems by reusing knowledge to solve old problems that are similar and already have solutions. The nearest neighbor algorithm is useful for calculating similarity between new cases and old cases. The data for the research involves 7 types of diseases, 20 symptoms, and 345 cases of disease attacks on oil palm plants. The application testing uses 25 test cases and 320 case bases. From the test results, the application shows an accuracy rate of 31.00, with the highest similarity value reaching 0.98. In this research, it can be seen that the generated similarity values are high but the accuracy value is low. This can be caused by several factors, such as the data of the cases, feature representation, and insufficient diagnosis, which result in high similarity values due to the assignment of values to attribute categories and attribute value proximity.Budidaya tanaman kelapa sawit adalah salah satu komoditas pertanian utama di Indonesia, hal tersebut  terjadi karena tanaman kelapa sawit memiliki nilai jual ekonomi yang cukup tinggi. Namun Budidaya tanaman kelapa sawit rentan terhadap serangan penyakit yang dapat mengancam produktivitas. Kurangnya pengetahuan para petani dalam mengelola kebun dan mengatasi masalah tersebut dapat memperparah kerusakan tanaman akibat serangan penyakit.  Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut pada penelitian ini akan membangun sebuah aplikasi dengan pendekatan Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) untuk mendiagnosis penyakit pada tanaman kelapa sawit dengan algoritma perhitungan nearest neighbor. CBR akan menyelesaikan permasalahan baru dengan memanfaatkan kembali pengetahuan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan lama yang memiliki kesamaan dan telah memiliki solusi. Algoritma nearest neighbor berguna untuk menghitung similaritas atau kemiripan antar kasus baru dengan kasus lama.  Data untuk penelitian  melibatkan 7 jenis penyakit, 20 gejala, dan 345 kasus serangan penyakit pada tanaman kelapa sawit. Pengujian aplikasi menggunakan 25 kasus uji serta 320 basis kasus. Dari hasil pengujian aplikasi menunjukkan hasil akurasi sebesar 31,00%, dengan nilai similaritas tertinggi mencapai 0,98.  Meskipun  aplikasi mampu memberikan solusi yang efektif tetapi terdapat keterbatasan dalam penentuan kasus terpilih ketika memiliki nilai similaritas yang sama

    This research was conducted to implement the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method to evaluate and compare blind vans available in Indonesia. Blind vans are important in the context of distribution of goods and services in various economic sectors. However, with a variety of options available, the process of selecting the right one requires careful thought. The ARAS method is a multi-criteria decision evaluation tool that allows objective assessment of different criteria, such as price, reliability, fuel consumption, load capacity, and safety features. There are 4 alternatives involved for comparison, namely Daihatsu Gran Max, Suzuki New Carry, Wuling Formo, DFSK Gelora. This research will involve data collection from various sources, including information from manufacturers, customer reviews, and market data. Once the data is collected, the ARAS method will be applied to evaluate different blind vans, assign weights to relevant criteria, and generate a relative ranking for each model. The results of this study ranked the Suzuki New Carry Blind Van first with a utility degree value of 0.844 and the DFSK Gelora Blind Van last with a utility degree value of 0.628.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengimplementasikan metode Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) dalam mengevaluasi dan membandingkan mobil blind van yang tersedia di Indonesia. Mobil blind van menjadi penting dalam konteks distribusi barang dan layanan di berbagai sektor ekonomi. Namun, dengan beragam pilihan yang tersedia, proses pemilihan yang tepat memerlukan pemikiran yang cermat. Metode ARAS merupakan alat evaluasi keputusan multi-kriteria yang memungkinkan penilaian objektif terhadap kriteria yang berbeda, seperti kapasitas muatan, keandalan, fitur keselamatan, harga, konsumsi BBM. Terdapat 4 alternatif yang dilibatkan untuk perbandingan, yaitu Daihatsu Gran Max, Suzuki New Carry, Wuling Formo, DFSK Gelora. Penelitian ini akan melibatkan pengumpulan data dari berbagai sumber, termasuk informasi dari produsen, ulasan pelanggan, dan data pasar. Setelah data terkumpul, metode ARAS akan diterapkan untuk mengevaluasi mobil blind van yang berbeda, memberikan bobot pada kriteria yang relevan, dan menghasilkan peringkat relatif untuk setiap model. Hasil penelitian ini menempatkan Suzuki New Carry Blind Van pada peringkat pertama dengan nilai derajat utilitas sebesar 0,844 dan DFSK Gelora Blind Van pada posisi terakhir dengan nilai derajat utilitas sebesar 0,628

    PENGARUH RASIO KEUANGAN TERHADAP FINANCIAL DISTRESS PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR TRANSPORTASI YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI PERIODE 2018-2021

    The transportation company is one of the companies affected by Covid-19 due to the PSBB which has resulted in a significant decrease in the transportation company's income so that financial distress can occur. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of financial ratios on financial distress partially and simultaneously. The research object used is a transportation company listed on the IDX for the 2018-2021 period. The type of research conducted is descriptive quantitative. The samples were obtained after using a purposive sampling approach, namely 27 companies and a total of 100 observational data. In this study there are four, namely Liquidity (CR), Leverage (DAR), Profitability (ROA), Activity (FAT) as independent variables and financial distress (Z-Score) as the dependent variable. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, F test, T test and coefficient of determination test. The results showed that the liquidity ratio had a positive effect on financial distress, the leverage ratio had a negative effect on financial distress, the profitability ratio had a positive effect on financial distress, and the activity ratio had a positive effect on financial distress. And simultaneously the variables of liquidity, leverage, profitability and activity affect financial distress with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Keywords: liquidity, leverage, profitability, activity, financial distress Perusahaan transportasi salah satu perusahaan yang terkena dampak dari Covid-19 dikarenakan adanya PSBB yang mengakibatkan pendapatan perusahaan transportasi mengalami penurunan signifikan sehingga dapat terjadi financial distress. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh rasio keuangan terhadap financial distress secara parsial dan simultan. Objek penelitian yang digunakan yaitu perusahaan transportasi yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2018-2021. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang didapat setelah dilakukan dengan pendekatan purposive sampling yakni 27 perusahaan serta keseluruhan data sebanyak 100 data observasi. Dalam penelitian terdapat empat yaitu Likuiditas(CR), Leverage(DAR), Profitabilitas(ROA), Aktivitas(FAT) sebagai variabel independen dan financial distress(Z-Score) sebagai variabel dependen. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, regresi linear berganda, uji F, uji T dan uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rasio likuiditas berpengaruh positif terhadap financial distress, rasio leverage berpengaruh negatif terhadap financial distress, rasio profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap financial distress, dan rasio aktivitas berpengaruh positif terhadap financial distress.
