No full textهدف هذه الدراسة ينصب في عرض معيار Z39.50 كأداة ما تزال ذات كفاءة في إجراء عمليات البحث والاسترجاع داخل الأنظمة المختلفة، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف يتم استعراض هذا المعيار من زوايا مختلفة منها البعد التاريخي، وإشكاليات ومميزات هذا المعيار، معيار Z39.50 وبرتوكول الشبكة العالمية TCP/IP ، والخدمات المتاحة من خلال معيار Z39.50، وتطبيقاته المختلفة في المكتبات ومراكز المعلومات، مع استشراف الآفاق المستقبلية في المنظور القريب لهذا المعيار، والتي تتمثل في ظهور الجيل الجديد منه والمسمي ZING (Z39.50 InternationalNext Generation).The goal of this study is to present the Z39.50 standard as a tool that is still efficient in conducting search and retrieval operations within various systems. To achieve this goal, this standard is reviewed from different angles, including the historical dimension, the problems and advantages of this standard, the Z39.50 standard and the World Wide Web protocol. TCP/IP, and the services available through the Z39.50 standard, and its various applications in libraries and information centers, while looking at future prospects in the near future for this standard, which is represented by the emergence of its new generation called ZING (Z39.50 InternationalNext Generation)

No full textتعرض هذه الدراسة المختصرة نموذج لتجربة المؤسسات الحكومية في سلطنة عمان في حفظ الأرشيف الإداري لهذه المؤسسات وتطور مراحل الحفظ، تبدأ بتعريف مصطلح الأرشيف وأقسام الوثاق الإدارية, ثم تناولت الدراسة تجربة وزارة الإسكان والكهرباء والمياه وأنظمة إدارة وحفظ الوثائق بها, وركزت الدراسة علي نظام حفظ الوثائق العقارية ابتداء من نظام الحفظ التقليدي وصولا نظام الحفظ الضوئي للوثائق العقارية، وتنتناول أيضاً عرض إيجابيات وسلبيات التجربة، مع تقديم بعض الاقتراجات والتوصيات اللازمة لتطوير التجربة مستقبلاً.This brief study presents a model of the experience of government institutions in the Sultanate of Oman in preserving the administrative archives of these institutions and the development of the preservation stages. It begins with defining the term archive and the administrative documents sections. Then the study dealt with the experience of the Ministry of Housing, Electricity and Water and its document management and preservation systems. The study focused on the system for preserving real estate documents. Starting from the traditional preservation system to the optical preservation system for real estate documents, it also discusses the pros and cons of the experiment, while presenting some suggestions and recommendations necessary to develop the experiment in the future

1- External relations that connecting between the culture and the reality.
2- Internal elements for this system.
3- Infrastructures for this system that represented in the cultural policy, informational , information resources and human resources
