Get PDFتستند فكرة الدراسة المقترحة إلى أساس أن دور أخصائي المكتبات والمعلومات لا يقف فقط عند الأمور المتصلة بتقديم خدمات المعلومات والتعامل مع جمهور المستفيدين عن قرب أو من خلال البيئة الرقمية، وإنما يمتد دوره ليكون باحثاً علمياً Scholar Librarian أو مؤلفاً منتجاً Author Librarian أو ما يمكن التعبير عنه بوصفه باحثاً مهنياً ممارساً Practitioner-Researcher، في نظر البعض، بحيث يسهم في إثراء المعرفة الإنسانية في مجال تخصصه، كما يعكس عن قرب مختلف الخبرات والتجارب التي اختبرها طيلة حياته العملية، بما يطابق الواقع بشكل ملموس، حيث تبدو ظاهرة إنتاجية أمناء المكتبات والمعلومات ملحوظةً بشكل مثير للاهتمام لدى بعض المجتمعات الأجنبية، والتي تُعنى بهذا النمط من السلوك الإيجابي، وترصد له مكافآتٍ أو جوائزَ، تُعزز من قيمة ما يسهم به هؤلاء من عمل علمي، مقارنةً بواقع المجتمع العربي في هذا المنحى. لذا تسعى الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن تلك القضية من جهة، فضلاً عن مناقشة دور الجمعيات العلمية الأجنبية المتخصصة في مجال المكتبات المعلومات من أجل إعداد أخصائي المكتبات كي يكون باحثاً علمياً، لا سيما ما تعلق بدور الجمعيات العلمية الأمريكية بصفة خاصة.In terms of scholarly productivity of professional librarians, some people may believe that the role of a librarian is confining to shelving and checking out books, processing information resources in the library, and providing information services to users. One of the most important factors that may help a librarian to succeed in his/ her professional life is to participate in scholarly communication and to be a librarian-author or a scholar-practitioner. It is important for librarians to be involved in publishing in order to support the scholarly communication process. Get PDFهناك العديد من الفئات الخاصة في مجتمعنا العربي تحتاج إلى خدمات معلومات مبتكره من أجل مساعدتها على الحياة بكرامة وتفعيل أداءها في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة للمجتمع الذي تعيش فيه. ولكن هذه الفئات لم تلقى اهتمام يتناسب واحتياجاتها الحياتية، كما لم يتم دراسة احتياجاتها الواقعية من أجل تقديم وتيسير تعليم وتدريب لإخصائي المعلومات، على التعامل مع الفئات الخاصة -على قدر تنوعهم -بشكل يليق واحتياجاتها الحياتية اليومية ومتطلبات مساهمتهم الفعالة في المجتمع.
ويقصد بالفئات الخاصة على سبيل المثال لا الحصر: المسنين والمكفوفين بصريا والصم والبكم والمقعدين جسديا أو نفسيا والمرضى (أمراض مزمنة أو أمراض نفسية) وأطفال مرحله ما قبل المدرسة، ونزلاء المستشفيات ونزلاء دور الأيتام، بل ويذهب البعض أيضا في إضافة الموهوبين كفئات خاصه.
يهدف البحث إلى تحديد حجم هذه الفئات الفعلي من واقع الإحصائيات الرسمية والدولية لكل من المملكة العربية السعودية وجمهورية مصر العربية، وتحديد احتياجاتهم من خدمات المعلومات والأنشطة الثقافية، كما يهدف البحث إلى تحديد أساليب وطرق تقديم الخدمات من واقع التطور التكنولوجي الحادث على الساحة العالمية، وعلى رأس ذلك متطلبات إعداد متميز لإخصائي المعلومات الفئات الخاصة، ومناهج دراسة قادره على مجابهه هذا المتطلب من أجل تفعيل دور الفئات الخاصة في التنمية المستدامة.
يعتمد البحث على المسح النظري لأدبيات التخصص وغيرها من التخصصات البينية متخذا منهجية الوصف والتناظر استخراجا من تحليل العناصر والذي يعتمد على أسلوب رسم واقع المجتمع للفئات الخاصة في كل من المملكة العربية السعودية ومصر من خلال المسح الشامل للإنتاج الفكري وتحليله من أجل الخروج بنتائج قابله للتطبيق في العالم العربي، مع الاسترشاد بالجمعيات المهنية في تخصص المكتبات والمعلومات العربية والدولية لتقديم نتائج واقعية لفاعليات المؤتمرات فيما يتعلق بالفئات الخاصة.
حيث تبين من واقع البحث والمناقشات المنطقية لنتائج البحث، أن هناك فجوه كبيره بين مقدمي الخدمة الفعليين من اختصاصي المعلومات والمؤسسات المعلوماتية وبين الاحتياج الفعلي لهذه الفئات والتي تقاعست الأدبيات العربية على إظهار احتياجاتها وتتبع متطلباتها التي يمكن ان تجعل منهم فئات مفيدة للتنمية في المجتمع وتبعد عنهم شبح العجز والتقاعد.Arab Countries like all over the world have people who need library and information services to help them to conduct their role in the sustainable development of their countries. Though they do not get enough attention from the librarian and information science specialist.We mean by people with special needs: persons who because of their living conditions and/or physical, mental or cognitive disabilities are unable to access current library and information services.These groups can include, but are not necessarily limited to, people in hospitals orphanage houses, homeless people, persons in nursing homes and other care facilities, the deaf and people with dyslexia and dementia. Some go further to include the gifted and talented children.Methodology implemented in this research depends on descriptive analysis for subject literatures and formal international statistics. As well as the current awareness of field study.The purpose of our study is to examine the special needs communities in Saudi Arabia and Egypt and to cross-validate its factor structure for information service provided in the context of early childhood education disabled children and other sectors of disabilities.The study aims to identify the information providers in our countries and who well they are trained to use the latest information technology to provide such services. The study revealed the need to a better training for the library and information specialists, and an evolution in the curriculum of the library science faculties to include the special needs.More statistically significant differences were identified between the providers of information and the community of the special needs. Our study concludes that a better information services will have some positive effect on the sustainable development of our countries, nevertheless there are lots of efforts to develop the information specialists’ skills and there is still scope for improving the situation. Implications of these findings for current practice are discussed

Get PDFتعتبر القراءة من المحرّكات الرئيسيّة والأساسيّة لنهضة مختلف شعوب، وحضارات، وثقافات الأرض على اختلافها وتنوّعها، ذلك لأنّ هذا النشاط يرتبط ارتباطاً وثيقاً بتناقل المعارف والعلوم بين مختلف الأفراد، كما أنّه يساعد على تطوّرها ونهضتها وتقدّمها بشكل كبير جداً.
يهتم المكتبيون اهتماماً كبيراً بالقراءة، وتطوير مهاراتها والعناية بها وتنمية ميولها لدى المستفيدين، ويأتي هذا الاهتمام على اعتبار أن المكتبيين هم الذين يزودون المستفيد بالمواد القرائية على اختلاف مستوياتها، ومن ثم فإن اطمئنانهم بأن المستفيدين قد اكتسبوا مهارات القراءة الجيدة يأتي في مقدمة اهتماماتهم عندما يختارون المواد القرائية، ويقوّمون مدى إقبال المستفيدون عليها وطلبهم واستخدامهم المفيد لها. وبذلك تكون هنالك علاقة وطيدة بين القراءة والمكتبة والمكتبيون والمستفيدون.
تمثلت مشكلة الدراسة في عكس واقع القراءة في المجتمع العربي وكيفية اكتساب مهاراتها لمواجهة المستقبل الرقمي (دراسة حالة لمجتمع إمارة الفجيرة بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة)، وظهرت هذه المشكلة بسبب انفجار المعلومات وما تبعه من ابتكارات تكنولوجية نافست الكتاب بما تقدمه من مميزات لا تتوافر في الكتب الورقية. أما هدف الدراسة فهو رسم خارطة طريق تسهم في إعادة وتنمية المهارات القرائية لجميع الفئات العمرية وخاصة الأطفال، بناءً على تحليل الواقع ودراسة اتجاهاته وأبعاده، وتقديم بعض الأفكار التي تفيد أمناء المكتبات وأولياء الأمور في تنمية مهارات أبنائهم القرائية. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة اعتمد الباحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي. وتم مسح الانتاج الفكري المتعلق بالقراءة واهميتها. وتم جمع المادة العلمية من خلال الاعتماد على عدة مصادر منها: استقراء ما يتوافر حول الدراسة من أدب نظري ودراسات ميدانية منشورة، تخدم موضوع الدراسة، وتم تصميم استبانة لهذه الدراسة تهدف إلى قياس بعض المحاور والمتغيرات التي تساعد على تنمية المهارات القرائية والتميز بها.
وبعد إجراء الدراسة العملية تم التوصل إلى مجموعة من النتائج والتوصيات التي يمكن أن تسهم في تشجيع القراءة، من أهمها: (التأكيد على أهمية ارتكاز القراءة في المجتمعات العربية عامة ومجتمع الإمارات بصفة خاصة على أربعة محاور هي الأسرة والمدرسة، والإعلام، فضلاً عن البعد المجتمعي، والتحدي التقني، وضرورة تسليط الضوء على الدور الأسري في تعزيز ثقافة القراءة واستدامتها وتوعية الأهالي والأسر بأهمية القراءة باعتبارها أساس الثقافة والزاد المعرفي، إلى جانب الحاجة إلى برامج حوارية وتربوية في الإعلام تروج للكتاب وتقدم جرعات توعوية في مجال توسيع القراءة واستدامتها، وتوجيه الجيل الجديد للاستفادة من التقنيات الحديثة والتفاعل معها بطريقة تمكنهم من اكتساب مهارات القراءة والاطلاع الثقافي، فضلاً عن أهمية تدريب المعلمين وتحفيزهم على نقل المعرفة وترغيب الطلاب في القراءة، وعدم اعتبار الكتاب المدرسي هو المصدر الوحيد للتعليم، وضرورة وجود دراسات علمية متخصصة وموثقة تقيس نسبة مستوى القراءة عند طلبة المدارس.Is the reading of the key and the key drivers of the rise of the various peoples and civilizations, and cultures of the earth in all their diversity, because this activity is closely linked knowledge and science between different individuals, it also helps the development and renaissance and progress is very large.Cares librarians great interest in reading, and develop their skills and take care of it and the development tendencies among the beneficiaries, comes this interest on the grounds that librarians are the ones who provide the beneficiary materials literacy at all levels, and therefore reassured that the beneficiaries have acquired good reading skills comes at the forefront of their concerns when choosing materials literacy, and the extent of their appetite by beneficiaries and their request and use them useful. Thus, there is a strong relationship between reading, library, librarians and beneficiaries.The study represented a problem in reversing the reality of reading in Arab society and how to acquire the skills to face the digital future (Case Study: UAE Community - Emirate of Fujairah), this problem emerged because of the information explosion and the subsequent technological innovations compete book including advanced features not available in paper books. The objective of the study is to draw a road map to contribute to the restoration and development of literacy skills for all age groups, especially children, on the fact analysis and study of trends and dimensions, and provide some ideas that benefit the librarians and parents in the development of their children\u27s literacy skills. To achieve the objectives of the study the researcher adopted the descriptive survey. It was clear the intellectual output on reading and its importance. It was the collection of scientific material by relying on several sources, including: the extrapolation of what is available on the study of the literature of theoretical and field studies are published, serves the subject of the study was to identify the aim of this study is to measure some of the themes and variables that help develop literacy skills and excellence by design.After the surgery the study has been reached on a set of findings and recommendations that could contribute to the promotion of reading, including: (emphasis on the importance of basing reading in general Arab societies in particular on the four themes are family and school Emirates and society, and the media, as well as societal dimension, technical challenge, and the need to highlight the family role in the promotion of reading and sustainability and educating parents and families of the 2importance of reading as the foundation of culture and the intake of knowledge culture, along with the need for dialogue and educational programs in the media promoting the book and provide awareness doses in the expansion of reading and sustainability, and guide the new generation to take advantage of modern technologies and interact with them in a way to enable them to acquire the skills of reading and cultural access, as well as the importance of training teachers and motivate them to transfer knowledge and entice students to read, and not the textbook consideration is the sole source of education, and the need for scientific studies and specialized documented measure the percentage level reading at school students
