    No full text
Pathology of the thyroid gland registers markeromological problems. the most detected morphophysiological structural tumor of the gland is tissue microdistrict uniting a group of follicles and interfollicular space with autonomous system of blood and lymph circulation. Features of the structure of the tissue microdistrict we observe most of all under the action of pathogenic factors on the protective gland, role in frequent morphological and metabolic changes in tissues and organs [Borodin Yu.I., et al., 2018]. But morphological and morphometric changes of the thyroid gland in polypharmacy with anti-inflammatory drugs are poorly understood. The article presents a review of the literature on structural changes in the thyroid gland in polypharmacy with anti-inflammatory drugs

Two types of water were used to irrigate the plants: river water and well water. The study was conducted on the leaves in the flowering stage. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the gene expression in the wheat plant when irrigated with well water, compared to irrigation with river water. while there was a significant decrease in the gene expression in the barley plant when irrigated with well water, compared to irrigation with river water

The sub-categorization of Hodgkin lymphoma into classical form and non-classical form is the basis for clinicopathological approach of such type; whereas, Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is sub-grouped based on cell types into natural killer cell subtype, T-subtypes and B-subtype. Aim of the study: Little is known about the phenotypic classes of lymphoid neoplasms common in Adiwaniyah Province, thus, the presents study was aiming at highlighting these types. Materials and methods: Histopathological reports were retrieved from the archive of the central laboratories of Adiwaniyah teaching hospital for the last 4 years. The duration of search was limited to the period January the 1st 2019 to January the 1st 2023. Information about clinical presentation, age, gender, number of lymph nodes, size of lymph nodes, grade of the disease and immunohistochemical study were reported. There was no need for patients’ consent because the study was retrospective; however, ethical approval was issued by the ethical committee of the health directorate. Statistical description was based on reporting number, percentages, mean, range and standard deviation. Results: The 4 cases of Hodgkin lymphoma were positive for CD15 and CD30 and negative for all other markers. All cases of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma were negative for CD15 and CD30 and positive for CD20 indicating that they are all of the B-subtype. Ten cases were positive for CD5, 8 cases were ё for CD45, 4 cases were positive for CD23, 4 cases were positive for CD79a, 2 cases were positive for CD3, 2 cases were positive for pancytokeratin and a single case was positive for cyclin D1. Conclusion: Most of the cases of lymphoid neoplasms in Adiwaniyah province are of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma and they are mostly of B-cell type (CD20 positive); Hodgkin lymphoma accounted for small proportion and they all were positive for CD15 and CD30.
