Diagnostic Methods of Pneumonia in Uzbekistan
Diagnosis and treatment of atypical community-acquired pneumonia in children is a topical issue in pediatric practice. Pneumonia today is one of the most common diseases of childhood, which occupies one of the main places of morbidity and mortality. Among the primary causes of poor outcome of pneumonia in children is late diagnosis and inadequate therapy. To optimize treatment, in order to differentiate typical or atypical etiology of community-acquired pneumonia, we performed polymerase chain reaction(PCR), express methods for determining the level of procalcitonin and C-reactive protein in blood plasma in children. And thanks to the responses, they were treated with antibacterial and antiviral drugs. We have treated 80 patients aged 2 to 14 years who were divided into 2 groups. The patients were hospitalized in the departments of emergency pediatrics and the pediatric intensive care unit of the Samarkand branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care. 40 patients underwent complex therapy, which included an antibacterial drug, antiviral drugs at an age dosage for 10 days. Clinical manifestations of group I stopped almost 1.5 times faster than in patients from group II. The complex treatment of community-acquired pneumonia with atypical etiology with an antibiotic and an antiviral drug showed that they are the most effective, preventing and reducing the severity of the disease
Bacteriological Evaluation of Tomatoes Purchased From Ilesha, Osun State
This study will look at microorganisms identified in tomatoes purchased in Ilesha, Osun State. The microbial degradation of tomato fruits lowers their market value and reduces their nutritional content. Ilesha in Osun State provided a total of five (5) tomato samples. All of the samples were collected aseptically in sterile universal containers and sent to the lab for examination promptly. Each tomato sample was weighed and homogenized in 90mL sterile distilled water, then blended in a sterile blender, and 1 mL of the homogenate was constituted in 9 mL sterile peptone water. The bacteria isolates were identified using Gram staining and other biochemical testing. The biochemical tests used to characterize the microorganisms further. The total viable count in colony forming units per milliliter (CFU/mL) is the outcome of the total viable counts. Sample T1 has the highest overall viable plate count of 12.0×10-4, followed by sample T4, which has 5.7×10-4, sample T3, which has 3.6×10-4, sample T5, which has 2.5×10-4, and sample T2, which has 2.4×10-4. Except for T2a, T2b, and T5 which are Gram positive cocci, all bacterial isolates with sample codes T1, T3, and T4 are rod-shaped and gram negative. Erwinia sp, Lactobacillus sp, Micrococcus sp, Proteus sp, Pseudomonas sp, Pseudomonas sp, and Staphylococcus sp are among the microbes that could be identified. This study discovered that tomato fruits are connected with various opportunistic pathogenic bacteria, posing a considerable risk to consumers, particularly the illiterate majority, who are unaware of the risks and can eat tomato fruits without washing them
Epidemiology of Malignant Neoplasms of the Oropharyngeal Zone in the Territory of Bukhara Region
Purpose - to study the epidemiology of malignant neoplasms of the oral cavity and pharynx in the territory of the Bukhara region. The analysis of the structure of the incidence of malignant neoplasms of the oral cavity and pharynx, the dynamics of detection, mortality rates of the adult population in the Bukhara region for the period from 2016 to 2022 was carried out. 2022 In the period 2016-2022 an increase in the incidence of 8.8% was noted, from 2019 to 2022 the growth rate is 71.8%. In the period 2016-2022 mortality increased by 0.7%. A high rate of growth in the incidence of malignant neoplasms of the oral cavity and pharynx was revealed in the Bukhara region. The incidence of the male population significantly exceeds the incidence of the female population, in 2020 by more than 3 times, in 2021 and 2022. - more than 2 times. A large percentage of diseases detected at stage IV was revealed, as well as a high mortality rate from cancer of the oral cavity and pharynx
The Relevance of the Research Topic and the Degree of its Elaboration
Dental diseases are among the most common in the world, and dental anomalies and deformities occupy the third place among them after caries and periodontal diseases. Their prevalence according to the literature is in the range from 11.4 % to 80 %.
Timely teething is one of the important indicators of the normal development of the chewing apparatus (KhoroshilkinaF.Ya. 1979, 2006; Mishutina O.L., 2006; Postnikov M.A., 2009; GioevaYu.A. 2014; Persin L.S., 2016; Kozlov V.A., 2017;
Omlnel L., Sipher D., 1987). Retention of individual teeth is often the cause of impaired formation of dentition, their closure, functional and aesthetic deviations (Mannanova F.F., 1998; Persin L.S., 2016; Harzer W., Reinhardt A., Soltes K., 1989; Hyomoto M., Kawakami M., Inoue M., Kirits T., 2003).
According to various data, the prevalence of tooth retention ranges from 4% to 29% among all dental anomalies (Shulkina N.M., 1985; KhoroshilkinaF.Ya., Zhigurt Yu. I., 1997; Persin L.S., 1995, 2016; Korsak A.K., 1999; Korbendau J.-M., Patti A., Weiss J., 2009).
Currently, there is a tendency towards an increase in the proportion of adult patients, which is 68% of the total number of those who have applied for orthodontic care [Kalivrajian E. S., 2003]. This group is the most vulnerable to relapse. Often in the treatment of vertical incisor dysocclusion, repeated orthodontic treatment is required
The Effect of Energy Drinks on the Cardiovascular System in Students
The use of energy drinks among students is growing every year. It becomes impossible to study, work, take sessions and even relax without drinking energy drinks. In this article we will focus on the effect of energy drinks on the cardiovascular system of students, the composition of drinks and the attitude of students to them.
Purpose: to find out the popularity of energy drinks among students and to determine their impact on the cardiovascular system.
Research methods: to determine the level of popularity of energy drinks, a survey was conducted (the author created an online questionnaire). 60 students (3rd-4th year) took part in the survey. The blood pressure (BP) was measured and the heart rate (HR) was calculated in students. The age range was 20-25 years. As a result of the survey, it was determined that more than half of the students use EN and most of them use energy drinks because of their taste and do not notice a surge of vigor and strength and are ready to completely abandon them. And also 1/4 of the students after taking EN noted periods of palpitations and pain in the heart, dizziness. The results of determining the heart rate in the same patients showed 81%- normocardia, 19%-tachycardia in those and 57%-normocardia, 36%- tachycardia, 5%-bradycardia, 2%-arrhythmia, respectively. To the question whether they will be able to completely abandon EN, 8.8% - for a negative answer, 8.8%-find it difficult to answer and 82.5%- are ready to completely abandon energy drinks. The majority of students who consume energy drinks had blood pressure within normal parameters. It is noteworthy that the heart rate violation in the form of tachycardia occurs due to excessive and prolonged intake of energy drinks.
Conclusion: It should be noted that a large number of serious complications from EN are due to excessive consumption of products or their use for a short period of time. Therefore, it is important for companies producing EN to place a warning on their drinks. The exact amounts and concentrations that are ideal for minimizing health risks are largely unknown. Based on this, the best option is to give up energy drinks. Use healthy habits, adjust the daily routine and exercise more
The Method of Autobone Grafting For Atrophy of the Alveolar Process of the Lower Jaw
The use of dental implants as a support for prostheses and crowns is difficult due to bone atrophy of the alveolar process. Low-traumatic flap exfoliation and two-layer wound closure allow increasing the thickness of soft tissues in the intervention area. Thus, according to Istvan A. Urban, there is no need for early transplantation of gingival grafts. The purpose of this study was to study and evaluate the effectiveness of the method of autologous bone grafting to increase the volume of bone tissue in atrophy of the alveolar ridge
