Surgical Correction of Incomplete Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Drainage
For the period from 2001-2021. 149 patients aged 1.4 - 45 years with various anatomical variants of IAPVD were operated on in the Department of CHD Surgery of the RSSPSC named after academician V. Vakhidov and the clinic of the ASMI. The diagnosis of the defect was based on the analysis of a combination of data from clinical and special research methods, including echocardiography, multispiral computed tomography with contrast, and catheterization of the heart cavities with angiocardiography. Operations were performed from the median sternotomy and thoracotomy with the right lateral access, under cardiopulmonary bypass with pharmaco-cold cardioplegia. The types of surgery for partial anomalous drainage of the pulmonary veins were analyzed. Depending on the level of entry of the pulmonary veins and the location of the ASD, patients were divided into 4 groups: supracardial, cardiac, infracardial and displaced. 7 operated patients had an additional left-sided SVC opening into the coronary sinus

Principles of Screening of Visual Functions in Cases of Vertebro-Basiliar Deficiency
Actuality. Blood circulation deficiency in the vertebrobasilar system is dangerous as it causes hypoperfusion and hypoxia in eye tissue. Despite the fact that changes in the eye caused by vertebrobasilar insufficiency have been called by different medical terms in the last 10 years, this disease is a group of pathologies that have not lost its relevance until now.
Aims and objectives: early identification of signs of changes in the eye caused by vertebrobasilar deficiency and study of specific aspects of their clinical course.
Material and methods. 20 patients of the first group, who were treated in the inpatient department of the Central Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, underwent surgery to eliminate VBS blood circulation insufficiency (international classification of diseases (ICD) -10; G45.0), while 20 patients of the second group were treated conservatively, and their The analysis results of neurovisual and neurophysiological examination methods were compared.
Results and discussion. Visual acuity recovery was 1.3 times higher in the first group than in the second group. These results were explained by the rapid recovery of hemodynamics, which were also reflected in the results of the computer perimetry study. In the second group, the average values of RNFL thickness were higher (169.5±14.8 μm), temple (105.4±7.8 μm), lower (191.4±15.0 μm) and nose (90.15±6, 47 μm) in the quadrant decreased compared to the first group. A statistically significant difference was found in the RNFL thickness of the upper (p<0.05), temporal (p<0.05) and lower (p<0.05) quadrants compared to the first group.
Conclusions. The detection of scotomas in perimetry, which are not part of the defects detected during the OCT of the RNFL, indicates the presence of pathologies in the internal carotid artery in the chiasm, optic tract, or postgenicular optic tract. In such cases, it is appropriate to appoint patients to undergo MRI, and in cases where there are no changes in MRI, functional radiological examinations

Use of ACTH and Prednisolone with Infantile Spasms: The Experience of the Country of Uzbekistan
