Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Followed by Surgery Versus Surgery Alone in Patiens with Esophageal Cancer: Results of Surgical Treatment
Objective: This research was intended to demonstrate the short-term results of the surgical treatment of patients with operable esophageal scuamouse cell cancer by comparing the group treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy with the group treated with surgery alone.
Method: 52 patients, who were documented in archives of the National Cancer Center of Uzbekistan from 2011 to 2022, treated with neoadjuvant chamotherapy following curative intend esophagectomy were included to our study. For control group, patients with comparable gender and age parameters, the degree of concomitant diseases and the volume of operations who underwent only surgical intervention during the specified period were randomized.
Result: Postoperative complications were recorded in 21/52 (40.38%) patients in the study group and in 18/55 (32.72%) patients in the control group. Two patients (3.84%) in the study group and three patients (5.44%) in the control group died within 30 days of surgery. Frequency of non-fatal therapeutic postoperative complications was almost the same in both groups. However, pulmonary complications were more common in the nCTS group
Conclusion: Thus, it can be concluded that preoperative CRT does not affect a significant increase in the incidence of surgical and therapeutic complications in patients with resectable cancer of the thoracic esophagus, while it has been proven to prolong the disease-free survival and overall survival. However, individualization of the combined treatment regimen in this group of patients is necessary
Traumatism Among The Population and Children, Medical and Social Aspects
Domestic traumatism among the population and children remains one of the most important and urgent medical and social problems in all countries of the world, including the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The study showed that in almost all countries of the world, including in our country, as well as in the Khorezm region, where the study is conducted, there is a tradition of increasing injuries among children in 2016-2020. In 2016, childhood injuries were 6.9% of the total incidence rate, up from 9.0% in 2020, and injuries increased slightly by just under 30%. In the region, 60.5% of child injuries were to boys and 39.5% were to girls, with the rate among boys being 1.53 times higher
Evaluation of Depression, Anxiety and Stress among Spouces of Patients with Alcohol Dependence Syndrome
Background: Alcoholism is a significant problem in India that have a deleterious impact on the functioning of spouse. Alcoholism is chronic progressive and often fatal disease. It is a primary disorder and not a symptom of other disease or emotional problems. Alcohol dependence effect every type of cell in the body, including central nervous system. The wives of alcoholics undergo intense trauma and stress in their domestic environment which brings about major psychological problems like high levels of anxiety, depression, neuroticism, and poor self-esteem. Domestic violence, emotional violence, and financial violence are some of the frequently occurring and well-recognized problem faced by wives of alcoholics.
Aim: To assess association of Depression, anxiety and stress In wives Of Patient With Alcohol Dependence Syndrome
Objective: To evaluate association of Depression, anxiety and stress In wives Of Patient With Alcohol Dependence Syndrome
Settings and Design: The study was conducted on psychiatric inpatients admitted in Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital, Udaipur between December 2020, and December 2021.
Materials and method: Cross-sectional, observational, descriptive, analytical (comparative), clinical study. Applying a consecutive sampling, the study consisted of 50 wives of alcohol Sevirity of alcohol dependence was done based on SADQ (Sevirity of Alcohol dependence Questionnaire)
Results: Quality of life of wives of patients diagnosed with alcohol dependent syndrome is directly propotional to their severity scoring.
Conclusion: depression, anxiety and stress level of wives co relates with severity level of consumption of alcohol by the patients. depression relates more severely than anxiety and stress

A study on the levels for mRNA Gene expression of NF-κB and miR-34a genes in human patients with breast cancer: An indication for resistance to chemotherapy
Breast cancer (BC) is a major health issue that affects millions of people around the world. The NF-κB gene signaling plays a critical action in the processes of initiation, progression, and metastasis. In addition, miR-34a gene plays a major role in the CD4+ T cell activity of the triple-negative BC (TNBC), an unusual type of BC. The current study was conducted to evaluate the levels of mRNA Gene expression of NF-κB and miR-34a genes in human patients with BC. The study was performed on 16 blood samples from confirmed cases of BCs. Some other 16 blood samples from healthy individuals also were collected. The samples were subjected to a quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) method that targeted both NF-κB and miR-34a genes to evaluate levels of produced mRNA of these genes. The results demonstrated that the mRNA levels for the NF-κB gene significantly (p<0.01) decreased (0.04-fold change) in patients in a comparison with those from control group (0.23-fold change). For the miR-34a gene, the findings revealed that the mRNA levels significantly (p<0.01) increased (0.74-fold change) in patients compared to those from the control group (0.37-fold change). These results suggest important roles of the NF-κB and miR-34a genes in human patients with BC as it may refer to increases in resistance to chemotherapy, especially in the case of miR-34a gene, which needs further future investigation of their roles in the survivability and resistance to chemotherapy
Clinical and Epidemiology Characteristics and Psychosommatic Changes of Patients Infected with Covid-19
COVID-19 infections are very contagious and the number of patients is growing rapidly. It is important to know the specific prevalence aspects of the disease, epidemiological characteristics and the appropriate methods of identifying and treating infected patients. Since the methods of treating COVID-19 are still incomplete and the characteristics of the virus are changing, it should be encouraged to further improve the preventive epidemiological, prophylactic and therapeutic measures
Molecular Identification of Some Bacterial Species that Related to Dental Caries in Iraqi Children
The microbiota involved with dental caries can now be studied more precisely due to molecular technologies for bacterial identification and census. The objectives of this paper was to use molecular identification methods to match bacteria detected in early years caries to bacteria found in caries-free children. The results of our study reached a partial diagnosis of a number of the most famous types of bacteria using five diagnostic primers. Bacteria were found in varying proportions, but bacteria were found in most children with caries .The primers Sa442 and IDL22 used to identification Staphylococcus aureus and Lactobacillus Acidophilus respectively found more than other bacteria in the patients. Also found candida spp in 42 patients. While Streptococcus Mutans identified in forty samples.
COGNITION AND LANGUAGE
Language, which in its structure is a system of verbal sound signs andin its purpose is primarily a communicative system, provides acts of transmissionand reception of messages containing information and knowledge about theworld that the speaker (or writer) has. But at the same time, it serves theprocessing and organization of acquired knowledge, its storage in humanmemory, i.e. functions as a cognitive system. Elementary units of knowledge, concepts, as a rule, are organized into complexes, intellectual systems, cognitive,or cognitive structures, various types of which have recently been oftencollectively called frames
Stomalgia - Treatment Methods
The work is devoted to the study of methods of treatment of stomalgia. The relevance of the work is determined by the high prevalence of this disease - up to 26% among patients with chronic pain syndromes of the face and oral cavity. The disease is more common in women and in the elderly. Various terminology and classification of the disease are given. The clinical picture and diagnostic methods are described. The differential diagnosis of stomalgia with other pain syndromes is formulated. Treatment methods are described in detail with an assessment of their effectiveness:
- pharmacotherapy; - treatment with hyperbaric oxygen; - treatment using a constant magnetic field; - acupuncture and magnetoreflexotherapy; - laser therapy; - oxygen therapy; - hirudotherapy; - cryoreflexotherapy; - Treatment with transcranial electrical stimulation. Methods of complex treatment of various forms of stomalgia are proposed
