The results of medication adherence for TB patients mostly occurred in people aged 45-65 years, low to medium education, working in the private sector, with poor knowledge, poor motivation and lacking family support. There is a relationship between education and adherence to medication in TB patients (p-value 0.002), Employment Status (p-value 0.012), Knowledge (p-value 0.004), Motivation (p-value 0.005), Family Support (p- value 0.002). Motivation is the most dominant factor in medication compliance for pulmonary TB patients in Pesisir Barat Regency, Lampung Province. In 2024, Conclusion: It is hoped that health services in Coastal West Regency can improve health education in the form of education, especially TB, not only for TB sufferers but also the local community. in their work area and provide motivation and support to both patients and their families
The Content and Development of Biochemical Concepts in Biology
The central core of the system of scientific knowledge is scientific concepts. The school course "Biology" is a system of basic biological concepts that develop in a logical sequence. The system of concepts is determined by the fundamentals of biological sciences that make up the academic subject: botany, zoology, anatomy, physiology, cytology, ecology, biochemistry, etc. Therefore, the development of biological knowledge is operating with appropriate concepts
Antibacterial Therapy in the Treatment of Acute and Chronic Bronchitis
Acute infections account for more than 90% of all respiratory tract diseases in childhood [1]. Despite the availability of practical recommendations on the use of antibacterial drugs in children in outpatient practice [2], drugs of this type are often prescribed unreasonably, and therefore the issues of their rational use in the treatment of respiratory tract infections remain relevant. Since up to 70% of acute respiratory infections are viral in nature, they do not require antibacterial therapy. This provision applies to both most diseases of the upper respiratory tract and acute bronchitis. Prescribing antibiotics for respiratory viral infection does not reduce the duration of treatment and the number of complications, and unjustified prescribing increases the risk of side effects, disrupts the biocenosis and contributes to the spreadof drug resistance.
Objective: to analyze the prescriptions of antibacterial drugs in the treatment of acute and chronic bronchitis
Evaluation of Nurse’s Practice for Patient with Craniotomy after Discharge in Baghdad Teaching Hospitals
Craniotomy is a terrifying ordeal for patients and their families. The postoperative period is a patient's weakest and most vulnerable time. Despite teaching moments about postoperative directions, patients' concerns about daily living activities prior to and after discharge are the most common.
Objectives: evaluation of Nurse’s Practice for Patient with Craniotomy After Discharge and to find out the relationship between nurse’s knowledge and practices and their demographics characteristics.
Methodology: A non-probability (purpose) sample of (60) nurses who were working in neurosurgery wards, were selected from Baghdad Teaching Hospitals. Study starting from march 16nd, 2022 up to the April 16th, 2023. Non-probability (purposive sample) of (80) nurses, who were working in emergency departments, were selected from Baghdad Teaching Hospitals.
The data were collected through the use of constructed questionnaire, which consist of two parts (1) Demographic data that consist (7) items and (2) Nurses’ practice which consist of (24) items and Reliability was determined through a pilot study and the validity through a panel of (13) experts, Descriptive statistical analysis procedures (frequency, percentage, mean of score, Relative Sufficiency) and inferential statistical analysis procedures (anova) were used for the data analysis.
Results: The results of the study indicated that (66.7%) of the study sample were female, their advance age within 23-27years, (38.3%) were graduate from collage of nursing, (51.6%) had years of experience in neurosurgical ward within (1-5) years and (50.0%) Number of years of employment in hospitals within (6-10) years, (40.0%) had one training session (5.0 %).
Conclusions: The researcher can conclude that the majority of the nurses had poor practice concerning patient with craniotomy and There was non-significant association between the nurse’s knowledge and their gender and age but there is significant association between nurse’s knowledge and educational level.
Recommendations: The study recommends that the referral hospitals should develop procedure manuals that provide detailed information about all procedure and care for patient with craniotomy, the procedure manual should be subject to an annual audit, and active steps should be initiated to remedy identified deficiencies
Change of the Cervix under the Action of the Human Papiloma Virus
Cervical cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer in women in the world. The carcinogenesis of breast cancer proceeds for 10-30 years against the background of persistent HPV infection of high oncogenic risk and passes the stages of CIN I, II and III degrees. Currently, much attention is being paid to CIN screening for the prevention of cervical cancer. Numerous studies are being conducted to assess specificity of neoplastic cell staining at different degrees of CIN in cervical tissues and cytological samples. Of great importance for the identification of such markers is the study of the mechanisms and signaling pathways involved in the formation and progression of intraepithelial neoplasia to breast cancer in women. The review article discusses the main mechanisms and targets involved in the carcinogenesis of breast cancer. Promising markers for the diagnosis of CIN are considered
Taxonomic Composition and Physiological Activity of Phytoplankton in Biological Ponds of the Bukhara Region
An important part of aquatic ecosystems is aquatic biota, represented by a mosaic of interconnected biocenoses that occupy all possible biotopes in streams and reservoirs: they inhabit the water column (plankton), the thickness and surface of the soil (benthos), overgrow the surface of solid rocky substrates washed by water or settling on the surface of macrophytes and in the turf of water moss (periphyton). Their species composition and structure are entirely determined by climatic and landscape conditions prevailing in drainage basins or directly in river corridors and coastal zones of lakes.
Histological Changes of Stromal Cells in Adverse Environmental Conditions
Electron-microscopic studies of the thymus of white laboratory rats under unfavorable environmental conditions established ultrastructural features of stromal cells of different zones of the thymus. In the cortical zones, along with classical epithelioreticulocytes, dendritic and monocyte-like cells are predominant, interdigitating cells are localized mainly in the medullary zones. Macrophages and monocyte-like cells are frequent in the corticomedullary zones
Diagnosis and Prevention of Breast Cancer Multi-Development is a Problem in the World
Data on the epidemiology of mastopathy and breast cancer, population risks of breast cancer, causes predisposing to mastopathy, and risk factors for breast cancer are presented. The concepts of mastopathy and mastalgia are discussed. The rules of mammological screening proposed by the International Association of Reproductive Medicine Specialists are presented. Among the instrumental diagnostic methods used are mammography, ultrasound, puncture of nodular formations and suspicious areas and cytological examination of the punctate. . Among the instrumental diagnostic methods used are mammography, ultrasound, puncture of nodular formations and suspicious areas and cytological examination of the punctate.Particular attention is paid to hormonal balance disorders, since the MJ is not only a target organ for a large number of hormones (primarily sex hormones) and growth factors, but also a place of local biosynthesis and metabolism of sex hormones. The article explains the importance of morphological examination of breast tissue in women with suspected breast cancer and provides examples of histological pictures of precancerous conditions
