LIPOPROTEIN METABOLISM OF REGULAR BLOOD DONORS
A few reports have linked regular blood donation to the lowering of parameters of lipid profile. Estimating the lipid profile is an accepted method of assessing an individual’s risk for coronary heart disease, particularly if there is evidence of lipid peroxidation. Regular blood donation may lower iron stores, and this in turn lowers lipid peroxidation. This study was carried out to determine the effect of blood donation on lipid profile
The Role of Shear Wave Elastography in the Assessment of Liver Fibrosis - A Comprehensive Comparison With Conventional Methods (Review Article)
This article is based on clinical guidelines developed by the EASL and ALEH Governing Boards [1]. Types of non-invasive methods for the assessment of liver fibrosis Non-invasive methods for the assessment of liver fibrosis are based on two different approaches: a "biological" approach based on the quantification of biomarkers in serum samples and a "physical" approach based on the measurement of liver density (elastography). Thus, the potential of PP levels in TE for predicting clinical outcomes is greater than that of liver biopsy, probably due to its ability to map pathophysiological processes and functions that biopsy cannot
Healthcare Quality Under Resource Constraints in Indonesia
This study assesses the quality of National Health Insurance Services at the Gempol Health Center in Pasuruan Regency, highlighting the need to evaluate service effectiveness under resource constraints. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, employing observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection with purposive sampling for informant selection. Despite these issues, guarantees, assurances, and empathy levels are satisfactory. This study underscores the critical need for enhanced resource allocation to improve healthcare service quality at community health centers

Findings revealed a clear association between placenta accreta and adverse maternal outcomes, with notable complications such as significant blood loss and ICU admissions. The results underscore the need for improved surgical techniques and preoperative planning to mitigate risks, providing crucial insights for enhancing patient care in obstetric emergencies
