Specifically, intense and competitive business competition provides new challenges and opportunities for both government-owned and private-owned hospital organizations to demonstrate commitment in providing the best health services for the community. One of the keys to success in the healthcare industry is human resource management. Human resources are a valuable asset as well as being one of the biggest expenditure objects in the organization. The quality of human resources will affect the achievement of organizational goals, so it is important to manage them carefully, wisely and professionally in order to realize a balance in the implementation of rights and obligations. the effect of management performance on service quality and employee commitment at Prof. Dr. RD Kandou Manado. By using a quantitative approach, this research is expected to provide insight into the factors that influence the performance of hospital management and their implications for the quality of health services and the commitment of hospital staff. Management performance is very influential on service quality and employee commitment. Management performance can be considered successful if it can minimize complaints and complaints from external consumers (patients) and also internal consumers (employees). Employee commitment to the work that is their duty and responsibility can be not optimal, less responsive and not creative because they only do automatic work tasks that have become their routine
Women's Leadership in Higher Education (Case Study on the Head of STIE El Fatah Manado)
Get PDFLeadership has always been close to men. However, with the development of the world, women have taken part in leadership in various fields, especially in educational institutions. This means that women have the opportunity to be involved in decision-making efforts amidst the view that men and women have different leadership styles where women tend to use the norm of equality, while men use the norm of justice. This study aims to reveal and analyze the leadership style of women in tertiary institutions, the strategies adopted by female leadership in improving the quality and performance of their employees, as well as the effectiveness of female leadership styles in improving lecturer performance in tertiary institutions, especially at STIE El Fatah, Manado, Sulawasi. North. This study uses a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that women's leadership generally has a feminine “transformational-democratic” leadership style, in which in achieving successful leadership, they are more directed towards helping achieve educational goals so that the head of STIE El' Fatah Manado is obliged to direct, guide, assign, correct, and evaluate. Results of the work of the Lecturers on the Campus where it is located. Get PDFCivil Servants (PNS) are the main elements of human resources who have an important role in determining the success of governance and development. This study aims to describe government policies towards improving the quality of human resources for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Regional Secretariat of Tambrauw Regency. This research is included in the type of qualitative research. The sample in this study was 11 ASNs in the Regional Secretariat of Tambrauw Regency. The results of this study indicate that local government policies for human resource development have been implemented but the implementation has not been evenly distributed, the foundation has not been strong, and the results have not been optimal. This program is not yet strong because it does not yet have a strong legal basis, considering that until now there is no regional regulation that regulates formal education for ASN; the implementation of this program has not been evenly distributed because training for ASN at the regional secretariat has not yet reached all existing ASNs. The results of the implementation of this improvement program have not been optimal because they have not improved their working abilities much
Corruption and University Education in Nigeria, 2004-2022: The Underdevelopment of Nigerian University Educational System
Get PDFTo say that corruption has been midwifed into almost every aspect and structure of Nigerian society particularly the university education system in the country might not be an exaggeration. This study examines the effect of corruption on university education in Nigeria. The study relies mostly on secondary data, even though the researchers also employed personal observation based on his experience as a university teacher. The data were collected from print and online publications. Content analysis was the method of analysis employed. The structural-functional theory was used in analysing the subject matter. The study revealed that corruption has negatively affected the quality of university education through symptoms like an increase in the administrative cost of running university education, mismanagement of available funds, infrastructural deficits, shortage of qualified academic staff, and ultimately poor quality of university education. The study recommends among other things that, The Federal Government of Nigeria and the state government should employ the service of an integrity-based non-governmental organisation to monitor the activities of the various public universities to reduce corrupt practices in procurement, promotion, award of contracts and in other academic activities in the country. The suggested solution will check the excesses of corrupt staff in the university education system

The Regulation of Securities Trading at the Central African Stock Exchange Market
Get PDFThis article deals with the regulation of the Central African Stock Exchange Market (BVMAC) located in Douala Cameroon. It was created in 2003 by the CEMAC countries for the main objective of financing the CEMAC economies. This article focuses on the key regulation problem affecting the CEMAC stock exchange market such as imposing high compliance costs of at least 100 million capital which has thus prevented many companies from listing at BVMAC. Moreover, looking at the legal form of companies to be listed at BVMAC, the fact that only Public Limited Liability Companies are allowed into the market inadvertently excludes small and medium size businesses as well private limited companies which proliferate the CEMAC Zone, from benefiting from financing at the stock market. Generally, there are other regulatory issues like weak regulation, low enforcement, information asymmetry, poor disclosure of sensitive information by listed companies, insider trading, the fact that bonds listed must be at least two years old, and poor implementation of proposed policies like communication. Against this problematic, this article begins by examining the meaning of Securities generally, then the substantive legal provisions aimed at regulating securities trading at the CEMAC stock exchange market and demonstrate how such provisions rather discourage investors based on published materials such as reports, textbooks, theses and journal articles. Next, the article stresses the need to consider some policy proposals at the stock market for better regulation to encourage investors. The last part of the article dwells on conclusion and recommendation

Situations related to the conditions and factors of ensuring food safety in Uzbekistan are systematized. According to the results of the research, directions for ensuring food safety in Uzbekistan are justified. By evaluating the existing possibilities of food cultivation in Uzbekistan, the effectiveness of the existing possibilities of ensuring food security was analyzed. In this regard, the position of the existing shortcomings and the relationship with its development features are given. In accordance with the results obtained in the research process, scientific proposals and practical recommendations have been formulated to improve the food safety system in Uzbekistan.
 
Experiencing Happiness and Self-Efficacy among Behavioral Therapists
Get PDFSelf-efficacy is a positive belief, not a necessary skill to achieve the desired result (Bandura, 1994, 1997; Pajares, 2002). This is the belief that a performed action will lead to an intended outcome (Maddux, 1999b). Happiness at job is associated with the best results of the performed work (Diener et al., 2018). The goal of the present research was to study the relationship between these two constructs, self-efficacy and happiness, among behavioral therapists (N = 51). The findings showed statistically significant positive correlation between the variables (r(49) = .39. p < .01). Additionally, happiness emerged as a significant predictor of perceived self-efficacy (β = .39, t = 2.937, p < .01)
