Investigation of the Association of Gln27Glu Polymorphism of the Β2-Adrenoreceptor Gene with Bronchial Asthma Phenotypes
Get PDFIn order to study the serum levels of cytokines IL-4, IFN-γ and IgE production in patients with bronchial asthma (BA) considering Gln27Glu polymorphism of β2-adrenoreceptor gene, we have genotyped 130 individuals of Uzbek population using PCR technology and restriction fragment analysis. In the group of patients with allergic bronchial asthma with Gln27Gln polymorphic variant of β2-adrenoreceptor gene, the IgE index (1664,2±293,29 pg/ml) was almost four times higher than the level registered in patients with this form of disease at Gln27Glu genotype (338,4±121,33 pg/ml; P<0,01). According to the results of our studies, no significant relationship between the Gln27Glu polymorphism of the β2-adrenoreceptor gene and the activity of inducible cytokines was found. The Gln27Gln genotype of the β2-adrenoreceptor gene is associated with hyperproduction of IgE in patients with BA, especially in the allergic form of the disease

Efficiency of Antiviral Therapy and Non-Invasive Diagnostics of Liver Fibrosis in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis C
Get PDFUnder observation were 319 patients aged 19-55 years with HCV infection, of which 110 (34.5%) male patients and 209 (65.5%) female patients. All patients were under dispensary observation in polyclinics of the Bukhara region. The first genotype of the virus was detected in 63.9% (n=204) of patients, the second genotype in 0.5% (n=18); 21.9% (n=70) have the third genotype, 0.8% (n=27) have the fourth genotype. Before antiviral therapy in the main group of patients, 22 (20%) patients had F0 fibrosis, 30 (27%) F1, 36 (31.8%) F2, and 23 (21%) F3 patients. Fibrosis F4 stage was observed in 2 (0.2%) patients. With the use of sofosbuvir + ledipasvir, an early virological response was noted in 204 (100%) patients, of which 200 (98%) patients were confirmed to have no recurrence of HCV RNA viremia, a rapid virological response was noted in 195 (95.6%) patients. In parallel with the improvement in the results of HCV treatment with antiviral therapy, a decrease in the progression of liver fibrosis was also noted

But a further drop in hemoglobin levels is dangerous for the health and even the life of the expectant mother. Get PDFFor the period from 2020 to 2023, 118 patients (Group I (main group) n=60, Group II (comparison group) n=58) from patients with two clinical forms of vitiligo were examined. The study included patients of both sexes: 66 women and 52 men, aged 18 to 75 years (mean age 38.5 ± 6.8 years). In Group I (n=60), patients received combined phototherapy with narrow-band UVB therapy at 311 nm and therapy with an excimer laser with a length of 308 nm and, in addition, pentaxophylline, a minipulse corticosteroid therapy (dexamethasone) with topical therapy of 0.1% tacrolimus ointment. Group II (comparison group), where patients received combined phototherapy - narrow-band UVB therapy 311 nm and therapy with an excimer laser with a length of 308 nm. and topical therapy with tacrolimus ointment. It also greatly affects the dermatology life quality index (DLQI) of vitiligo patients.Before treatment, the mean value of DIQ was 10.9 ± 3.7 and 10.6 ± 2.0 points in both groups, which, according to the assessment scale, corresponds to a strong negative effect of the disease on the life of the patient. At the same time, the average levels of this parameter in patients of group I decreased to 2.1±0.7 points, and in Group II they were 3.3±0.4 points
