Family planning is an effort to regulate the birth of children, the ideal birth distance and age, regulate pregnancy, protection and assistance in accordance with reproductive rights to create a quality family. Acceptor compliance with injectable contraceptive visits is very important so that the goal of contraceptive use can be achieved, preventing unwanted pregnancies. Decreasing birth control visits or family planning participation will result in a high risk of pregnancy. Objective: To find out the factors related to compliance with repeat visits in 1-month contraceptive injection acceptors at PMB G. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design method. The population is 90 people receiving 1-month injectable contraceptives and a sample of 30 people using total sampling technique. The majority of respondents had good knowledge, 15 people (50%), 18 people (60%) who were supported by their husbands, and 19 people (63%) who complied with the 1-month injection re-visit. There is a relationship between knowledge and compliance with 1-month injection return visits with a p-value of 0.01, and there is a relationship between husband's support and compliance with 1-month injection return visits with a p-value of 0.01. There is a relationship between factors, which is knowledge and the husband's support for compliance with the 1-month KB injection visit at PMB G. It is hoped that this can help as input for health workers to pay more attention and remind acceptors to make timely return visits

This study aims at providing qualitative analysis of the relationship between domestic savings and economic growth in Nigeria. This study employed annual secondary data obtained from World Data Indicator (WDI), World Bank publication and Statistical Bulletin of the Central Bank of Nigeria for the period of 1970 to 2006. Descriptive Statistics were used. This study therefore concludes that the problem with Nigeria’s economy is not that of mobilizing domestic savings but that of intermediation and thus recommends that government should adopt policy enhancing intermediation between savings and investment in the economy by providing regulating and coordinating role to ensure effective intermediation between savings and growth in the economy

Examining Complications and Success Rates of Laser Fistula Surgery: An Evidence-Based Approach

The study investigates the effectiveness of laser fistula removal surgery by analyzing its complications and success rates. Despite being a common procedure, there remains a knowledge gap regarding its comprehensive clinical outcomes. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 93 patients who underwent this surgery in various hospitals in Iraq from April 2022 to August 2023. Data on operative times, complications, recovery, and patient satisfaction were collected and analyzed. The findings revealed that the procedure had a high success rate of 90.32%, with minimal complications such as infections (6.45%) and recurrences (2.15%). These results imply that laser fistula removal surgery is a highly effective and safe treatment option that significantly enhances patients' postoperative quality of life and satisfaction, suggesting its broader application in clinical practice

Sulayman Al-Bassam’s Adaptation of Shakespeare’s Richard III: A Politico-Cultural Analysis

Born in 1972, Sulayman Al-Bassam is a renowned Kuwaiti-Britain dramatist and theatre director whose vigorous style and diction shape the contours of his plays. He founded Zaoum Theatre in London in 1996 and is well-known for his drama entitled The Arab Shakespeare Trilogy, which includes three plays that adapt Shakespeare's works to the context of the Arab world: The Al-Hamlet Summit, Richard III: An Arab Tragedy and The Speaker's Progress. Being a Kuwaiti playwright is undoubtedly exciting, particularly when bringing a Shakespearean drama that launches the themes of tyranny and invasion to Middle Eastern audiences. By so doing, Al-Bassam manages to intertextualize Shakespeare’s plays, modifying and redirecting the context to the Arab world. The current study, however, examines Al-Bassam's adaptation of Shakespeare’s Richard III, which has strong political connotations and discursivity. The study is divided into two sections and a conclusion. The first section provides an overview of Al-Bassam's literary and socio-political backgrounds as well as Shakespeare’s original version of Richard III. On the other hand, the second section sheds light on the intertextuality theory and its application to the chosen play. Furthermore, the conclusion sums up the findings of the study

Using Geospatial Technologies to Separate Soil Units and Predict Some of Their Characteristics in Basra Governorate (Indices)

This study was conducted to classify the soils of eastern Basra Governorate, southern Iraq, within the administrative borders of Abu Al-Khasib District extending south to Al-Faw District, using remote sensing techniques and geographic information systems. The soil units were separated by adopting remote sensing technology through the use of satellite image from Landsat8, the TIRS - OLI sensor (The Operational Land Imager), and spectral indices with field observations. A map of the soil units was prepared using the GIS program. Eight locations of soil pedons were identified, and they were divided The study area is divided into two paths, and each path contains four typical pedons within the boundaries of the study area as follows: 1 - First stripe: represents the river levees unit within pedons 1, 3, 5 and 7. 2 - Second stripe: represents the river basin unit within pedons 2, 4, 6 and 8. The results of Indices showed a variation in their values between all the pedons through which spatial variation in surface soil characteristics can be distinguished. The values of NDVI ranged between < 0 – 0.79, < 0 – 1.64 for BSI, and between < 0 – 0.408 for SAVI. The spectral indices NDVI and SAVI gave results that match the ground facts present on the ground, represented by vegetation, while the bare soil index BSI gave reflectivity values similar to barren lands. The lands of the study area were characterized by a lack of vegetation, especially in the low-lying areas of the river plains, while the areas of natural vegetation and the parts close to the river levees were characterized by a medium to high vegetation cover, and these results are consistent with the values of the NDVI and SAVI spectral indices

Water Quality Index (WQI) has been applying in the present study to assess suitability of groundwater quality for drinking purposes in Amara city, southern Iraq. This was carried out by subjecting twelve groundwater samples, collected from different sites to comprehensive physic-chemical analysis. Ten parameters have been considered for calculating the WQI such as; pH, electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chloride, sulphate and nitrate. The WQI values shows that 16.66% of water samples falls in good water categories and the others (83.66%) ranged from poor water to unsuitable for drinking purposes under normal conditions and further action for salinity control is required. The high value of WQI at this study has been found to be mainly due to the higher values of EC, TDS, SO4-2, Ca+2, Mg+2 and Cl- where it was found that there is a very high correlation coefficient between them
