Medical and Social Aspects of Genital, Endometriosis

    Get PDF
Endometriosis is one of the most common gynecological diseases, which reflects the medical and social significance of the problem of effective diagnosis and treatment. To date, the causes, diagnosis and treatment of this disease remains the subject of controversy. The pathogenesis of the disease is multifactorial and has not been studied enough, non-invasive examination methods have a relative diagnostic value, and so modern therapeutic approaches often do not provide a complete cure

    Psychosomatic Parallelism in Cardiological Practice

The aim of the study was to study the clinical and dynamic characteristics of depressive states that occur after myocardial infarction. Psychosomatic parallelism in most protracted depressions was manifested by generalization of asthenic symptom complexes (increased general weakness, intolerance to physical exertion, lethargy, adynamia, severe daytime sleepiness combined with early insomnia) with deterioration of the somatic condition. At the same time, it was noted that with prolonged depression, there were always more or less pronounced cognitive disorders (decrease in memory for past events, limited ability to understand what is happening around, remember new information, impaired concentration)

Rehabilitation of Patients after Ischemic Stroke Using Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation

45 patients in the acute period of ischemic stroke, aged 39–71 years were examined. All patients underwent: a study of neurological and somatic status, with verification of neurological deficit according to the NIHSS scale , to assess impairment of consciousness and coma, the Glasgow scale, to assess the degree of motor and daily activity using the Rankin and Barthel scale , to assess the recovery of motor deficit after a stroke, the APAT test was used . The use of TES in patients with stroke, regardless of the electrode application area, improves cognitive functions in naming objects, performing speech functions, which is accompanied by an increase in patients' motivation for rehabilitation and treatment and is reflected in an improvement in their quality of life

Review of New Generation Neuroleptics in the Treatment of Psychosis

    Get PDF
Antipsychotics are drugs that restore dopamine imbalance in the mesocortical, mesolimbic, nigrostriatal and tuberoinfundibular pathways of the brain, causing psychotic states. For this reason, drugs in this group are also called antipsychotics. Antipsychotics act on the dopaminergic system in such a way that they eliminate psychotic symptoms - first of all, perceptual delusions (auditory, visual, tactile hallucinations), delirium and psychomotor agitation

Obesity is currently one of the most serious medical, social and economic problems of modern society. Over the past 40 years, there has been an increase in the number of overweight and obese people [1-3]. SinghG.K. and so on., Analyzing data from 1976-2008, it showed that in the older age of the American population (≥18 years old), excess weight increased from 36.9% to 62%, obesity increased from 8.7 to 27.4% [1]. A. Berghöfer and others. In 2008, he published a systematic review of the prevalence of obesity in Europe, summarizing data from the end of 1980 to 2005. In Portugal, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania and Albania, the obesity of the population of the countries of Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean was higher than in the countries of Western and Northern Europe [4]

Gastric ulcer (GU) and duodenal ulcer (duodenal ulcer) is one of the most common pathologies in all regions of the world (Chaika A.V., 2018; Ruchkin D.V., 2019). At the same time, the prevalence of this pathology increases with increasing age (Chernousov A.F., 2016). In absolute terms, annually PU affects 4 million people worldwide, while complicated forms of the disease develop in 10-20% of patients (ThorsenK., 2013; Hasselager R.B., 2016)

Methods for Determining the Effect of Acute Radiation on the Indicators of the Immune System and the Effectiveness of Bio Correction

    Get PDF
Acute radiation-depends on the frequency and duration of ionizing radiation and develops to varying degrees depending on the radiation sensitivity of the members. In acute radiation, the most sensitive organs are organs of the immune system, mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract, EXO-and endocrine glands, sex glands. Members with low radiation sensitivity include the heart, kidneys, liver, head and spinal cord, bone tissue, joints [2.4]

Cytotoxic and Morphological Analysis of Azurin and Paclitaxel-Induced Apoptosis against Breast Cancer Cell line

    Get PDF
Azurin is a cupredoxin produced by bacteria that is mostly utilized in electron transport processes. The anticancer properties of the Azurin and its potential use in cancer treatments have increased interest recently. In other side Paclitaxel is a chemotherapeutic agent used as therapy for several types of cancer, it can induce intrinsic apoptosis by activating caspase-3, caspase-9 and PARP. Materials and Methods: The inhibitory dose 50 (IC50) of MCF-7 breast cancer cell line was assessed by MTT assay and then examined under inverted microscope to show the cytopathic effect against MCF-7 cell line. Results: Azurin and Paclitaxel have cytotoxic effect on MCF-7 breast cancer cell line. In which, IC50 of the Azurin against MCF-7 cell line was 25.6 and IC50 of the Paclitaxel was 34.57. cytopathic effect under inverted microscope indicated that the Azurin was more cytopathic effect than Paclitaxel against the MCF-7 cell line. Conclusion: Both Azurin and Paclitaxel have cytotoxic effect against breast cancer cells. But Azurin have more cytopathic effect than Paclitaxel

The environmental and socio-economic situation in the world has led to an intensive increase in the incidence of malignant neoplasms in almost all countries. In accordance with the purpose and objectives of the undertaken scientific search, a survey was conducted of 172 patients with disseminated breast cancer (DBC), who received palliative drug antitumor treatment in the chemotherapy department of the Republican Scientific Medical Center for Specialized Oncology and Radiology, Bukhara branch, from 2021 to 2023

    Get PDF
The knowledge of first aid is crucial for healthcare students, including dental and nursing students, to provide emergency medical care. The current research was aimed for comparing between the dental and nursing students about their first aid knowledge in Al Hadi University College, Baghdad, Iraq. A comparative study was conducted, and a questionnaire was distributed to 80 dental students and 80 nursing students in their final stages of study. The questionnaire assessed their knowledge of first aid in different emergency situations. Independent Samples T-test was used to compare the two groups. The results showed dental students had significantly higher mean scores than nursing students (78.1250 vs. 69.4792, p = 0.016). Additionally, 73.9% of dental students had good knowledge of first aid, while only 41.4% of nursing students had good knowledge. The study found that dental students had better knowledge of first aid than nursing students, indicating the need to incorporate first aid classes and literature into nursing curricula. Enhancing the knowledge of first aid for healthcare students can improve patient safety and outcomes in emergency situations
